I Once Married You (Harper and Benjamin)

Chapter 528

Chapter 528 Risk Your Entire Life

Lauren dared not continue, simply pursing her lips and murmuring, "Benjamin, no matter what you do to me, I won't tell a soul. So, you really don't want to?"Exclusive content from NôvelDrama.Org.

Despite her confidence in her looks and figure, especially in the quiet of the night with just the two of them, she couldn't believe Benjamin would remain unmoved. Yet, Benjamin was utterly indifferent, his gaze calm as he said, "Lauren, I'll give you one chance. Tell me where Frank is. Just tell the truth, and I'll help you, okay?"

His words made everything clear to Lauren, but she couldn't say a thing. Knowing Benjamin, any disclosure would lead to him cutting her off completely.

So she was like mute suffering in silence, unable even to mention the drink she'd been drugged with.

Her lips were tightly sealed, her hands clenched, and she desperately tried to keep her thoughts rational. "Benjamin, I don't know what you're talking about. How could I possibly know where Frank is? Shouldn't you be asking Harper instead?" Benjamin snorted coldly, his eyes growing even icier as he dismissed her with a curt. "Come out."

Lauren was confused by his words, but the next moment, she saw Curtis leading a journalist out from the side room.

At that instant, Lauren still hadn't grasped what was happening.

She stared at Benjamin in disbelief, her body reacting instinctively to the drugs as her voice echoed through the room.

With no emotion, Benjamin asked, "So, are you going to tell the truth?

"Of course, you can choose not to. Then I'll take a picture of you right now and make it public. Your life would be ruined. So, are you sure you want to risk your entire life for Frank?" His words were a cold threat.

The drugs were slowly overpowering

Lauren's reason. She tried to embrace Benjamin, but he stepped back causing her to fall straight to

the ground.

In a delicate voice, she said, "Benjamin, help me, and I'll tell you."

Benjamin squinted, his impatience clearly visible. He silently watched her collapse on the floor, his brow flickering with sharp displeasure.

He said, "Curtis, get two people over here."

Curtis nodded and immediately made a phone call. Within minutes, two men arrived.

While Lauren still clung to a shred of consciousness, Benjamin said indifferently, Lauren, you want to set me up, but do you think I'd let you? If I don't agree, do you think you can succeed? You have one more

chance. If you still refuse to cooperate, these two will assist you. But you should know the

consequences if this gets caught on video or in photos."

His words said it all, and it was at this moment that Lauren fully understood that he had known everything from the start. Lauren clenched her teeth; she knew well that Benjamin meant what he said, so she dared not test his patience further.

She closed her eyes and weighed her options again. Finally, she said, "He's at my house, in the apartment where I live." "What's your relationship with him?" he continued to probe.

Lauren pressed her lips together and shook her head.

Benjamin repeated the question, but she remained silent, losing all reason due to the drugs. Seeing her condition, he no longer insisted.

While curious about Lauren's

relationship with Frank, her

reluctance to speak the truth in such a state suggests a deep connection between them.

Curtis looked at Lauren on the ground, who was now frantically tearing at her clothes. The consequences of letting this continue were clear. Curtis asked quietly, "Mr. Martin, how should we handle Ms. Davis?"
