ZAFARIA MALL
After finishing their meal, Ezekiel and Samarra went straight to the Buenavista Hotel. Samarra was taken aback by the magnitude of the mansions in the area as Ezekiel’s car drove out of the subdivision. She had no idea they were going to be gone for so long. Ezekiel says they are at phase IV, the Lotus Village of Villa Escaler, and have just exited the first gate.
Samarra glared at the man seated next to her, intently driving. Ezekiel was defined as the epitome of handsome from every angle.
“I know I’m attractive; don’t be such a statue,” Ezekiel said as he tapped her shoulder.
“I’m not staring at you,” she said as she sat up straight and stared at the young man.
Why is Ezekiel constantly catching her staring? Maybe he has a third eye? Gosh!
Ezekiel’s grin widened at her response. “You’re not a good liar, Baby. Next time, give it a shot.” He winked at her.
“No, I’m not. Okay! “She replied sharply.
Ezekiel laughed. When she slapped him on the arm, Ezekiel laughed? “Samarra, I’m driving,” Ezekiel said as he pulled over to the road and kissed her cheek.
When Ezekiel pressed his face against her, Samarra closed her eyes briefly before feeling her cheek squeezed and hearing their car speared.
She was startled when she saw Ezekiel’s serious face while driving. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She did not want to speak or look at Ezekiel to see what he would think of her.
“Stupid, Samarra.” She turned her head to the side of the car.
“Are you interested in going to Zafaria Mall? One of our branches was there,” Ezekiel inquired.
“Hmm, okay!” she replied without opening her eyes.
She never received a response from Ezekiel. So, she closed her eyes rather than be tempted by it again, and when she felt the car stop, she opened her eyes.
Even Ezekiel’s handsome face staring at her took her breath away.
Ezekiel’s face lit up. “I would have woken you up,” he said, avoiding looking at her.
Even though she felt awkward, she smiled and didn’t say anything.
“Is it okay if you go inside first, Miel? I’ll park,” Ezekiel asked kindly.
“All right, I’ll look for that. ‘Ms. “Oh, inside,” she agreed, quickly exiting the car in front of the mall.
“Miel, the shop is on the second floor of the east wing, next to Victoria’s Secret and Calvin Klein,” Ezekiel says as he starts the car.
She took a deep breath before beginning to walk inside. She rolled her eyes as she entered the mall, which established almost all of the mall’s well-known brands. The cleanliness is excellent, and the odor is pleasant to the nose. She took her cellphone from her bag and checked the time. She smiled because it was only two o’clock in the afternoon, and it was still early. So, she decided to go around the inside by herself first.
She walked around the mall until her feet carried her to the mall’s courtyard. It’s a very relaxing and peaceful view, surrounded by different colors of flowers and green plants. Very natural and provides a sense of peace and calm to the mind.
She smiles with joy because she hasn’t been able to go out like this on her own for a long time. Quietly peaceful and unconcerned that there was trouble with her. No bodyguard follows her.
Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard her cellphone ringing in the bag. She stopped and picked up the cellphone.
She smiled when she saw Ezekiel calling. Perhaps this worried her, and she did not answer and put the cellphone back in the bag.
She hurried inside the mall. She stopped and faced the courtyard again, wondering where she had come from before exiting.
“Gosh! I think I’m lost.” She caressed her chin and smiled at her thought.
Maybe there is map navigation inside at mall.
“Move,” said someone behind her.
She couldn’t look back because of who had hit her so hard; Samarra knew she would fall, so she closed her eyes and waited for her to fall to the floor.
When someone’s arm encircled Samarra’s waist, she sighed.
“Are you all right, Miss?” he inquired.
She opened her eyes slowly to find a handsome guy with a white complexion, chunky almond hazel brown eyes, chinito, and a six-footer staring at her.
“Yeah, I think so?!” She moved away from its grip on her waist and forced a smile to thank her.
“Are you sure?” said the one in front of her.
“Yeah, I’m fine-” she couldn’t finish what she was about to say when the man who had hit her abruptly responded.
“Enzo, hurry up!” He even put both hands in his pockets and grinned as he looked at her as if examining her.
“You aren’t deaf. That girl stated that she was fine. Perhaps she’s paying attention. So, get moving!” he said to the man next to her.
Her ears were irritated by what she heard. She took a deep breath and counted to five. At the same time, she was trying to calm down before confronting the man who had hit her.
“Hey, you?” She raised an eyebrow at the man and said, “Don’t you know how to apologize?”
The guy grinned as he approached her, his gaze fixed on her from head to toe. “Why should I apologize? I’m not doing anything wrong?” He made a snide remark to her.
What? He didn’t do anything, did he? What is the thickness of his face? Ahh, hold on a second. Huh!! Ezekiel struck me as the most arrogant person I’d ever met. But there’s something even worse going on here.
She inhaled deeply and approached the man who was staring at her. She also grinned and slapped the guy firmly. The force of her slap had also rendered her hand almost numb.
The guy turned his head slightly and was stunned.
She had already taken advantage of the opportunity. She held her in both arms and kicked in balls. The guy crouched in pain as he held the front. She quickly turned around and walked away from the two men.
“Hey! Little monkey, you will pay for it,” the guy shouted.
She stopped from what she heard. She slowly turned around and smiled when she saw that that guy was still bent. She raised an eyebrow at him and pointed a dirty finger.
“Does it hurt?” She mouthed.
While holding the cellphone, Ezekiel was restless inside the shop. He tries to call Samarra, but she does not answer. They had only been separated for an hour when they parted outside.
“Damn it! I despise this; she’s always doing it.”Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
He decided to go out and look for Samarra. When he saw Samarra, he frowned as she approached him. Ezekiel knew something terrible had happened to the girl, so he hugged her quickly.
“God! Where have you been? You’re fucking my worries, and I thought you were lost?” Ezekiel’s nagging language.
He kissed her forehead and looked her in the eye. “Don’t do that again!! I’m warning you?? And next time, answer my call, Babaysot.”
Samarra smiled as if something was funny in what he said. Samarra is stubborn when told not to do so she does that.
She looked at him, shaking, and sighed.
“Yes, Captain Kiel.” Samarra even saluted him.
Ezekiel smiled at Samarra’s actions. He took their hands in his and moved closer to the shop.
“What?” he asked as Samarra came to a halt.
“Maybe next time, I’m not feeling well,” she said hesitantly, smiling at him.
He placed his hand on Samarra’s brow to see if she had a fever.
Samarra chuckled softly. “I don’t have a fever, and I’m not in the mood to go; please, I’m at the hotel first; I need to rest,” she begged.
He messed up her hair and walked out of the mall looking like her. It makes no sense for him to ask because he knows Samarra will not tell him a story.
He took Samarra to the Buenavista Hotel near the mall so that she could rest. He knew Samarra was tired and had just come from a long trip.
“Lock the door and get some rest. I’ll be back to the office,” Ezekiel said before finally leaving the penthouse.
Samarra answered him with a nod as if all her energy was gone.
