I Love You, Miss Genius

CHAPTER 352

CHAPTER 352

“Is there a reason you’re at this filming set, miss? I can’t just let any passerby in.”

I’m here for Orpheus. We’re buddies. He probably told you about my arrival, right?”

The guards exchanged glances and looked at Bonnie from head to toe.

‘Orpheus had an affair with someone recently. In this hor?”

Bonnie noticed their silence and frowned, saying, “Did he forget to tell you guys I’d be visiting? Give me a minute while I call him.”

One of the guards said, “That won’t be necessary, miss. Mr. Orpheus told us about you. You’re Ms. Bonnie, right?”

“Yeah, that’s me.” Bonnie nodded.

“This way, please.”

Once she turned a corner, the other guard made a call. “Hello, Ms. Tatiana, Ms. Bonnie has arrived,”

Tatiana was touching up her makeup when she received the call. Her expression turned cold as she asked indifferently. “Did you guys let her in?”

“I’m sorry, Ms. Tatiana. We had no choice since Mr. Orpheus told us to let her in.”

“Where’s she now?” She asked as she admired her manicured nails.

“She just came in a minute ago. If you come over now, you might bump into her.”

“What does she look like? Do you have a picture?”

“I didn’t have a chance to take her picture. Still, that should be the least of your worries. You’ll notice her as soon as you see her,” the guard said confidently.

“How are you so sure?”

The guard patted his chest and replied, “She’s so gorgeous that a sea of men would fall for her. Only a few from the entertainment industry can compare to Ms. Bonnie’s beauty. Also, she has an extraordinarily elegant demeanor.

“That makes her noticeable even if she blends into a crowd. That’s why I’m sure you’ll notice her

immediately.”

Tatiana lost interest in her fingernails, asking. “Is she that pretty? Do you think she’s prettier than me?” © 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.

The guard’s heart leaped into his throat. “That’s not possible, Ms. Tatiana! You’re the gorgeous rising star, after all. You also come from a prestigious family. Your parents and grandparents are outstanding painters. You have a natural artistic aura that Ms. Bonnie can never compare to.”

Although the guard said that, he inwardly cursed Tatiana.

‘There’s nothing great about a family of prestigious painters. I don’t know how the other Osbornes are, but Tatiana is an unreasonable and unforgiving pig–headed bully. She’s no stranger to using her status in the industry to put people down.”

Tatiana grunted and kicked her assistant, who was putting on her shoes for her. The former scolded, Why are you so rough?! Are you trying to break my ankles?!”

The assistant fell backward and covered her chest. Although she was in tremendous pain, she hastily ‘apologized, “I’m sorry, Ms. Tatiana. Please forgive me. I didn’t mean to do that. I’ll be more cautious next

time.”

“What are you waiting for? Hurry up and put on my shoes! Why did I hire you if you can’t do such a simple

task?”

The assistant was furious, thinking, ‘You’re being uncooperative by not lifting your damn leg. If you did, the shoes would’ve slipped right in.”

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Tatiana squinted at her assistant, questioning, “Do you have something to say?”

“I would never!”

“Of course not! Don’t forget that you’re no longer a Church family member. Your dad and his mistress have kicked you and your mom out of the house. Your mom even has a condition, and you need a large amount of money for her treatment.

“I pity you, Nancy. You helped me a lot before you got kicked out of your family. You supported me and gave me what I have today. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have pitied you and given you such a well– paying job as my assistant. You should be thankful to me. If I fire you, the hospital might stop your mom’s treatment.”
