CHAPTER 294
CHAPTER 294
“I can’t sleep without you,” he said huskily.
Bonnie stifled a laugh, staring straight at the man, unsure what to say.
“Bonnie, how about I move in tomorrow?” Ivor frowned, his pleasant baritone tinged with a hint of pleading, softening Bonnie’s heart.
In the end, reason triumphed over all. “You have your place to stay. Why come here? Besides, who will take care of your brother if you leave?”
In this household, Neville was the unruly master. Before Bonnie appeared, he only
listened to Ivor. Even if his dad came, it wouldn’t make a difference.
“I’ll have him move in with me,” Ivor said.
Bonnie was speechless. “Why don’t you just have your entire family move in?”
“That’s a good idea. Since your place has no housekeepers, I’ll have them all move in
tomorrow.”
Bonnie sighed. “Enough already. Can’t you just live in your place?”
“I understand,” Ivor gazed at Bonnie affectionately.
Bonnie blinked. “What do you understand?”
Ivor didn’t hesitate to take Bonnie’s hand. “I understand what you mean. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. You’re teasing me.”
Bonnie let out a heavy sigh, feeling the urge to punch someone.
“It’s late, I’m going to bed. You can think whatever you want. Just don’t disturb my sleep.
With that, Bonnie pulled her hand out of the man’s grasp and headed upstairs.
Halfway there, she turned back to look at Ivor. “Why are you still standing there? Planning to sleep in the living room tonight?”
Ivor grinned.
“Okay.” Cheerfully agreeing, he quickly went upstairs to Bonnie’s room, pretending to
enter.
Bonnie stopped him. “What are you doing?”
“Going to sleep!”
“Go to your room.”
Ivor looked a bit disappointed. He thought Bonnie was going to invite him to share her
bed.
“Don’t you want to sleep together?”
“Then, you might as well go back to your villa.” Bonnie glared at Ivor.
This had to be taken step by step. There was no need to rush.
On the other hand, Gunnar watched as Flynn returned, hastily ordering someone to close the gate.
“Why did you come back without a word? If you’re caught, forget about staying in this city!”
Sydney watched as Gunnar scolded his son, feeling furious. “He’s your son! Our son! This is his home! What’s wrong with him coming back? That Bonnie, if she dares to cause trouble, I–I’ll fight her!” RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
