Scarlett suspected Aurora had an inkling of Courtney‘s scheming ways. Only that, like her parents, Aurora also cared for Courtney. In comparison to Cindy and Philip Barnes, Aurora had a greater chance to witness Courtney’s white lotus act, but she turned a blind eye to everything. Because, like her parents, Aurora treated Courtney as her own.

Without answering Scarlett, Aurora said, “Let me take you to the study. They are all waiting for you.”

While they were segregating their documents, Scarlett only held her head down, but she could not shake off the feeling of how Luca was staring at her.
