Chapter 910: Do you think Hawkins is worthy of her?
Zane immediately dialed Brandon's number and the call was quickly answered. "Have you contacted
Anthony?" Brandon asked.
Zane replied, "They are on their way to Twin Mountains Clinic. Let's meet there."
After hearing Zane's response, Brandon agreed, "Okay." Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the line, Anthony glanced at the unconscious Sandy and his face
darkened. "Drive faster!" he urged Hiruma.
Hiruma increased the speed upon Anthony's insistence. "Brother, is it really a good idea to take her like
this?" Hiruma questioned.
"And do you expect me to leave her unconscious on the roadside with no one to help?" Anthony
retorted.
"Well, there was that assistant of his," Hiruma argued in a hushed voice.
Hiruma initially thought it would be an easy task to pursue a girl. It would involve flowers, jewelry, and
sweet words, and he believed it would be enough to win someone over. But he didn't expect Sandy
already had a boyfriend. Although they were rogues, they still refrained from meddling in others'
relationships.
Ignoring Hiruma's comment, Anthony continued to urge him to drive faster.
They soon arrived at the hospital, and Anthony quickly carried Sandy inside while Hiruma went to park
the car. After bringing Sandy into the hospital lobby, Anthony called for a doctor.
Shortly after, Sandy was taken into the emergency room.
When Hiruma found Anthony, he noticed that Anthony was sitting alone outside the emergency room.
Hiruma glanced towards the direction of the emergency room and walked over to sit beside Anthony.
"Brother, maybe we should just... let it go?"
Anthony turned his head and looked at Hiruma. "Do you think that names Hawkins is worthy of her?"
Hesitating for a few seconds, Hiruma met Anthony's gaze. "Brother, it's not up to us to decide whether
they're a good match. Miss Thompson hasn't said anything, so no matter what we say, it won't make a
difference."
Frowning, Anthony responded, "I think she's so good that no one can be worthy of her."
Seeing Anthony's expression, Hiruma wanted to say something several times, but each time, he
swallowed his words.
The two of them sat outside the emergency room, waiting.
After about ten minutes, the doors of the emergency room opened. A doctor came out and asked, "Are
you the patient's family?"
Anthony stood up and was about to speak when another voice spoke up first, "I am, I'm her boyfriend."
Upon hearing this voice, Anthony's hand, hanging by his side, tightened involuntarily. He turned his
head to look.
Brandon hurriedly approached the doctor. "How is my girlfriend? What's her condition?"
The doctor responded, "She has low blood sugar. Just rest more and pay attention. However, I suggest
you undergo further examination to rule out other possible causes."
Brandon nodded repeatedly upon hearing the doctor's words. "Okay, thank you, doctor."
"The patient is awake now. You can go in and see her."
Brandon thanked the doctor again and intended to go in and see Sandy.
"Brandon, right?" Just as Brandon was about to step into the emergency room, Anthony's cold voice
sounded from behind.
Brandon stopped in his tracks and turned to face Anthony upon hearing his words. Their eyes met, and
Brandon's gaze grew serious. "Is there something you need, Mr. Austi?" he asked.
Anthony approached Brandon, closing the distance between them. "Is Mr. Hawkins so busy that he
doesn't have time to take care of her? If Mr. Hawkins doesn't have time to care for her, there are plenty
of people who would gladly step in. I suggest you make way," Anthony said, his tone filled with
underlying tension.
After listening to Anthony's words, Brandon responded calmly, "I appreciate you bringing Sandy here,
Mr. Austi, but I don't need you to worry about taking care of her. I will take care of her myself."
"Taking care of her until she has low blood sugar, is that your idea of taking care?" Anthony's voice
grew darker involuntarily.
Brandon furrowed his brows. "Mr. Austi, Sandy is my girlfriend, and I will take good care of her from
now on."
As Brandon prepared to enter the room to see Sandy, Anthony stopped him once again.
Brandon halted his steps, looking at Anthony. "Is there something else, Mr. Austi?"
Anthony's face remained stern as he gazed at Brandon. "I don't believe you deserve her."
This remark puzzled Brandon, and he frowned. "This is between Sandy and me. If Mr. Austi is so
concerned about Sandy, let me offer some advice: stay away from her. Do you want to repeat what
happened in Manches City?"
The mention of Manches City made Anthony's expression shift slightly. Though he wasn't directly
involved, he knew he played a part in the events that unfolded there. If only he had been more
cautious, things wouldn't have escalated.
Moreover, he had been following some online rumors these past few days. Sandy lost several
endorsements due to that incident, and even her favorite role seemed to have been taken away.
In this situation, Anthony couldn't find any words to refute Brandon.
Brandon didn't say anything further and turned to enter the emergency room.
Just as Brandon entered, Zane and Yanis arrived. They were slightly delayed due to traffic.
Upon seeing Zane and Yanis, Anthony's brow furrowed. "What are you doing here?"
Zane glanced at Anthony nonchalantly. "Aren't you here too?"
Anthony glanced at Zane's face briefly before turning his gaze to Hiruma, who stood nearby. "Let's go."
At this moment, Anthony didn't want to attract attention.
"Wait," a voice called out from the entrance of the emergency room.
Anthony paused for a moment but didn't turn back.
Sandy stepped out of the room and approached Anthony. "Anthony, thank you for today."
