Chapter 208 Be Temporarily Detained

Bonnie's vision was a little blurred, and she didn't see clearly how Nick was suddenly thrown away.

Only a muffled hum was heard.

As Bonnie was about to get clear-minded, she heard a scream.

Afterward, there was the crisp sound of something falling on the ground.

"Bonnie, are you okay?" said someone.

A familiar voice sounded in the room.

Then chaotic sounds at the door made Bonnie gradually regain her composure.

Recognizing the man standing in front, Bonnie's tears fell down her face uncontrollably.

"Myles," she cried out.

"Yes, here I am," answered Myles.

Myles took off his coat and wrapped it around Bonnie. "Are you injured?"

Without saying a word, Bonnie got up and threw herself into Myles's arms.

Myles held Bonnie in his arms, patted her lightly, and comforted her in a soft voice, "It's all over."

It took a while for Bonnie to calm down completely. Just as she was about to talk with Myles, she found

another person in the room. "V... Vivian, is it you?"

Vivian nodded at Bonnie and asked, "Are you all right?"

Bonnie said, "I am fine."

"I called the police and may need your cooperation," Vivian said in a low voice.

Then Bonnie looked aside at Nick.

Nick lay on the ground covering his head with his hand, not looking well.

"Myles, he... is okay?"

Myles hummed, "Don't worry about him."

Nick was hit and fainted by an ashtray with a little bleeding but was not in serious condition.

The police in M Country reacted and handle the case very efficiently.

Nick assaulted Bonnie, and he would face legal punishment for his ill behavior.

"Miss Cooke, we will deal with the case according to the law and will temporarily detain him," explained

the policeman.

Bonnie nodded.

"Madam, we are going to take him away," added the policeman.

Vivian nodded at the policeman. "Thanks so much."

Nick was taken away by the police. Vivian looked at Bonnie and said, "I have spare clothes at hand,

and they might suit you. I'll ask my assistant to bring them over, and you can have a change."

Bonnie nodded at Vivian. "Thank you, Vivian."

Vivian responded, "I still have something to deal with and will contact Darin later, and we can make a

new appointment."

Vivian glanced at Myles who was sitting beside Bonnie with caring love, and said to Bonnie in a low

voice, "Your boyfriend cares about you very much."

Vivian's words made Bonnie somewhat embarrassed, she didn't know how to respond to Vivian, but

just smiled.

Vivian didn't stay there any longer and ordered her assistant to get the clothes for Bonnie, and then she

left the lounge. NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.

Only Bonnie and Myles were still in the lounge.

Bonnie adjusted Myles's clothes and asked, "Where is Yanis?"

Myles's face was a little bit pale, and he answered irrelevantly, "When did you know that person?"

Bonnie paused for a while and said, "One year ago, I met him in South City and we competed for a

contract and finally I won."

"How can you attract such kind of bastard?" Myles noticed the scratches on Bonnie's wrists and neck,

and his eyes darkened solemnly.

Bonnie didn't speak but just looked at Myles.

Staring at Bonnie, Myles still felt sympathetic He stretched out his hand to hug Bonnie into his arms

and gently touched her head. "Okay, it's all over."

Bonnie didn't speak but stayed quietly in Myles's arms.

It was only when there was a knock on the door that Myles let go of Bonnie and got up to get the

clothes sent by Vivian's assistant.

"Thank you," Myles said.

"You're welcome," replied the assistant.

Myles closed the door and brought the clothes to Bonnie. "Change your clothes."

Bonnie took the clothes and said, "You... turn around."

Myles glanced at her, then turned his back to Bonnie.

Bonnie's clothes were deformed due to the tugging with Nick just now.

What Vivian sent over was a very casual suit.

Vivian and Bonnie were nearly at the same height, so the clothes suited Bonnie very well.

After changing her clothes, Bonnie put the changed dress into a bag, and then asked Myles, "Where's

Yanis?"

Myles replied in a solemn voice, "Take care of yourself first."

Bonnie looked at Myles and said, "Why are you angry?"

"Why do you think I'm angry?" Myles couldn't help raising his voice.

Seeing Bonnie's aggrieved face, he said in a soft voice, "Yanis was with a friend and asked me to come

up to you."

Bonnie hummed, "Then I'll go find her."

Myles didn't answer but followed behind Bonnie silently.

After going downstairs and out of the lobby, Bonnie made a phone call to Yanis.

The call was answered quickly.

Yanis's anxious voice came, "Bonnie, where are you?"

Bonnie stood at the main entrance and said, "I'm at the main entrance and I'm about to find you. Are

you with Darin or Ivan? "

"I'm with Darin. I just arrived at the venue." Yanis paused and added, "Please wait for me at the main

entrance, and I'll come down right away."

Bonnie responded, "Slow down, I'll wait for you."

Yanis did not inquire about Bonnie's situation on the phone.

Because she wanted to see Bonnie in person to make sure Bonnie was safe and sound.

Darin watched Yanis hang up the phone, and then said, "I asked my friend, Miss Cooke is fine, and that

bad guy had been taken away by the police."

Yanis then felt relieved and nodded to Darin. "Thank you."

Darin stepped forward to press the button of the elevator and said, "Don't worry."

When Yanis got out of the elevator, she immediately saw Bonnie standing outside, and she rushed

toward Bonnie.

"Bonnie," Yanis called.

When Bonnie heard Yanis's voice, she turned around and looked over. When she saw Yanis running

toward her, she stepped forward worriedly. "Slow down! Be cautious!"

Yanis glanced at Bonnie carefully and get completely relieved. She stretched out her arms to hug

Bonnie. "I was extremely worried about you."

When Darin answered the phone and told Yanis that Bonnie had been assaulted, Yanis's face turned

pale with fright.

Almost trotting all the way back to the fashion exhibition hall, Yanis saw Bonnie standing in front of her

safe and sound, she felt thoroughly relaxed.

Bonnie patted Yanis's back lightly. "I'm fine, don't worry."

Only then did Yanis loosen her hand. "Do you know that guy?"

"I met him once in South City one year ago," said Bonnie.

Yanis remembered the man, and Bonnie mentioned him to her on the phone and complained that the

man behaved dreadfully.

Out of the expectation, Bonnie and that man met again at the exhibition one year later.
