Chapter 186: Guilty
Bonnie lowered her voice and asked Yanis, "What is he doing here?"
Yanis had been feeling guilty when she saw Zane in the restaurant, and now she was even more guilty.
As Yanis hesitated what she should say to Zane, Zane had walked over.
Yanis subconsciously grabbed Bonnie's hand, "Bonnie, why am I a little nervous?"
Bonnie was also a little nervous, swallowed her saliva and asked, "Shall we run?"
Yanis was speechless.
"Yanis, let's talk."
Zane was already in front of them.
Yanis tightened Bonnie's hand, "Mr. Lawrence, I don't think there's anything to talk about."
Zane gazed at her.
Yanis was even more nervous being stared at by him, he was obviously looking at her face, but
somehow, she felt his eyes were fixed on her stomach.
She was even guiltier.
Bonnie took a look at Yanis and then at Zane, " Mr. Lawrence, since you have divorced Yanis, you
shouldn't come disturb her anymore. Make it a good end. You don't want it to end up hating each other,
right?"
"Mind your own business."
Another man's voice came.
Both Bonnie and Yanis were dumbfounded.
They were thinking the same things.
Why were the two men here at the same time? Did they appoint to come here together?
They didn't.
Tonight, Zane took Neve to meet a script writer and had dinner together, he was helping Neve.
Zane didn't expect to meet Yanis there either.
He had been absent-minded in the past two days.
Although they were not so close before, at least he would always feel at east when he thought that Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.
someone would always be waiting for him at home.
But now it was different. There was only he himself alone now.
But fortunately, these days he had been very busy with work, which got him distracted from thinking
about Yanis.
Lucia and Neve kept pushing him, which had disrupted all of his plans.
The only thing he could do that day was to do as they said.
But he also knew that the decision he made that day had completely ruined the only remaining feelings
left in Yanis for him.
He couldn't watch Lucia die in front of him, and he couldn't watch Anika relapse again and her life
hanging by a thread.
So, he had no other choice.
But it was not all because of Lucia and Neve that he made the decision.
He wanted to solve everything first so that he would be free to do what he wanted and he wouldn't
have any soft spot anymore.
Yanis insisted on having a divorce, if he forced her to stay by him, it would only make things worse,
which would be even more terrible than a divorce.
He might even bring Yanis unpredictable dangers.
Although he was very clear that Yanis would be angry even if he told her that he did this for her, he had
to.
He had done what he did and there was no turning back.
He didn't read the divorce agreement that day, he signed on it because Yanis kept egging him on.
He read it later and found that Yanis changed some of the terms. She didn't want a penny out of the
divorce.
She didn't take anything.
Bonnie didn't want to say anything to Myles, grabbed Yanis's hand and was about to leave.
But before they could leave, Myles stood in front of them and looked at Bonnie, "Either you let go of her
now or I will make you."
Bonnie stared at Myles, "What do you want?"
Myles looked at her and suddenly smiled, "What do you think will happen if I pushed Yanis now?"
Myles whispered in Bonnie's ear.
Yanis, standing next to Bonnie, didn't even hear what Myles said.
But when Myles stepped back and stood straight, Bonnie almost subconsciously loosened Yanis's
hand.
Myles got what he wanted and smile, he looked over at Zane under Bonnie's angry gaze, "Mr.
Lawrence, you are welcome."
Zane looked at Myles and then his eyes fell on Yanis.
Bonnie was angry but dared not to say anything now, "Yanis, maybe you should talk to Mr. Lawrence
while you wait for me?"
Yanis knew that she couldn't leaving without talking to Zane now, so she nodded, "Okay."
Bonnie Myles's hand and walked aside.
After Bonnie and Myles left, Yanis looked calmly at Zane, "Mr. Lawrence, what do you need?"
Zane just looked at her. She assumed a little thinner than before, her face was smaller and it was pretty
obvious.
Yanis felt a bit uncomfortable being stared at, "If there is nothing, I need to go home now."
Then she was going to leave.
"Yanis."
Zane called her name as she turned around.
Yanis stopped and looked back at Zane. "Let's talk inside."
Yanis felt that she was getting more and more delicate recently, she always felt tired even though she
didn't do anything.
Yanis didn't lead him upstairs, but sat down on the step of the stairs with a tissue under her buttocks,
and then looked at the man standing in front of her, "You can stand."
Zane nodded, took another tissue and sat down next to her.
Yanis didn't know what to say.
Yanis didn't plan to start the conversation. She waited for Zane to speak.
"Why did you change the terms?"
After a while, Zane's voice sounded in the quiet space.
Hearing this, Yanis was stunned and said, "I don't need anything."
When she left D-king Castle, she took nothing with her, not anything Zane had bought.
Oh, she did take a photo.
It should still be in her suitcase. She hadn't gotten it out.
"Yanis."
"Yes?"
Zane called her name but did not know what to say next.
He had thought of a lot of things he wanted to say to her, but right now, sitting next to her, all those
words seemed vain.
Yanis didn't urge him.
The two sat there quietly without saying anything.
On the other side.
Bonnie forced Myles to the wall and stared at him angrily, "Myles, what the hell did you mean when you
said that?"
Myles looked at her at a close distance and felt her much thinner. "Have you been eating at all?"
"That's none of your business. What did you mean by saying that just now?"
Myles still didn't answer, "You need to take care of yourself and eat."
