I Am Unstoppable

Chapter 457 Dragon Essence Ball

Chapter 457 Dragon Essence Ball

Whether it was protecting Clarissa's daughter or breaking the seal, both tasks were exceedingly difficult.

This was because Theos had already known what had transpired. Moreover, Jonathan and Torrence were on Theos' hit list. The two of them were unable to fend for themselves, let alone protect another person.

Clarissa said, “Chosen One, I've used some enchantments on you earlier. I can see that your body is of great importance. Even though you know nothing right now, your achievements won't be poorer than Lynn's if you work hard and cultivate.” She then paused and added, “However, you still need to live through it all.”

Jonathan was slightly taken aback.

Clarissa continued, “I can't really tell what kind of blood courses through your veins, but I do know that it's especially strange. You can convert your blood into combat force. It just so happens that dragon blood is the strongest in the world. Later, I will feed you the purest blood my body can produce. After you ingest my dragon blood, your base cultivation will increase alongside your damage output. When that happens, it'll be up to you to face the puppet primordial spirit. This is the first point. Secondly, you are an Omni-Element Magician, and thus, dragon magic is suitable for you to cultivate. Dragon magic does not utilize verbal incantations, so no human has been able to cultivate it. Since you are an Omni- Element Magician, you can commune with all the magic elements out there. It would be for the best if you cultivated dragon magic.”

Clarissa paused briefly and added, “All of this, including your arrival, seems to have been predetermined by heaven's will.”

Jonathan was stunned.

Suddenly, he understood something.

Jonathan understood why Leahra wanted him to enter Moranta.

Leahra wanted him to consume dragon blood.

That realization dawned on Jonathan.

Needless to say, even Leahra was not so powerful that she could account for everything. However, Leahra was aware that the mysterious dragon race existed in Moranta. The purpose of the portal Leahra made was to enable Jonathan to come and test his luck.

It was similar to how everyone knew the special economic zone was a place of wealth and that it was easy to make money there.

However, not everyone who went there could make it big.

Right now, one could say that Jonathan was quite lucky.

Of course, Jonathan wouldn't have been able to reach this point if he did not have sufficient knowledge or courage.

He had already experienced a lot of perilous situations when he arrived in the snowy tundra. Anyone else who had to go through what Jonathan encountered would have long perished with no traces left to

be found.

There was no doubt that Jonathan was very lucky. Apart from his luck, his wisdom and virtue played a big role in getting him here. If he had been a selfish person, he would not have gotten this far.

When faced with the choice of selecting either Torrence or Moose earlier, selecting Torrence meant that Jonathan was courting death. However, this was a crucial step that Jonathan had taken. Due to the faith and the virtue in his heart, he put his own life aside and chose to help Torrence without hesitation.

It was only by helping Torrence that Jonathan was able to come so far.

When Torrence heard what Clarissa said, he became excited too. He had always wanted Jonathan to cultivate magic to oppose Theos.

Jonathan couldn't help but say, “Dragon magic is powerful, but even if I cultivate it and become the most invincible person in Moranta, what of it? This power is completely useless in the main world. I am an inhabitant of the main world and I will inevitably return to it.”

“But if you don't cultivate dragon magic, then Lynn will eventually kill you,” replied Clarissa. “Forget returning to the main world; you're not even going to survive. Therefore, even though dragon magic is useless in the main world, you still have to cultivate it. On top of that, you have no mana. If you don't cultivate dragon magic, how on earth are you going to return to the main world if you can't even summon a portal?”

Jonathan was rendered speechless. Before this, he had thought of relying on Theos to return to the main world, but it would seem that Jonathan had to scrap that idea.

I guess it's all up to me now.

“Have you come to a decision?” asked Clarissa, having noticed the change in Jonathan's expression.

Jonathan smiled wryly and said, “I have no other choice.”

Clarissa sighed gently and responded, “If that is the case, can you agree to the conditions I'd set before?”

“I will do everything in my power to fulfill both tasks, but I cannot guarantee that I will complete them,” said Jonathan.

“Given how righteous you are, Chosen One, I have absolute faith in your words,” replied Clarissa. “All you have to do is agree. As for whether or not you can complete these tasks, it's not something even you can guarantee. We can only plan and let things go according to heaven's will.”

Jonathan nodded. Although his words carried no weight, he was going to do whatever it took to complete his tasks since he had already agreed.

Clarissa then said, “My daughter is still in the egg, unhatched. Her time will come in ten days. I think the little one might be a little mischievous, so you might have your work cut out for you.”

Jonathan couldn't help but ask, “Can I discipline her if she's disobedient?”

Clarissa was a little stunned. After all, a mother's love was the kindest and most benevolent love to exist. She also felt a little helpless. Before Jonathan had even started taking care of her daughter, he

was already talking about disciplining her. How could she be content with this?

However, Clarissa was not stupid. She replied, “Just do as you see fit.”

Her words were open to interpretation.

Jonathan smiled. He had been looking forward to this. Goodness. People have cats and dogs, and the people of Dartan have lions and leopards. I, on the other hand, get to keep a dragon. How cool is that?

Right now, Clarissa did not know what Jonathan was thinking. If she found out that Jonathan intended on treating her daughter like a pet, Clarissa was going to be extremely enraged.

Naturally, Jonathan had no real intention of treating a dragon like a pet. He merely had a dry sense of humor.

Clarissa then said, “Tell my daughter that her name is Clarabelle Keller.”

Jonathan's expression changed slightly when he heard this. “Ms. Clarissa, can't you hold out until your daughter is here?”

The smile on Clarissa's face was forlorn. “I can hold on for another hour at most.”

Suddenly, the atmosphere became gloomy at the mention of death.

“Ms. Clarissa,” said Torrence. “I'm going to be Clarabelle's godfather. I will do whatever it takes to protect her.”

Clarissa was slightly taken aback. She gave a slight bow to Torrence and replied, “You have my gratitude.”

Torrence nodded.

With that, Clarissa's gaze was shifted to Jonathan once more. “I'm going to pass on the essentials of dragon magic to you. How much you can comprehend depends on your capabilities.”

Jonathan nodded. Original from NôvelDrama.Org.

Clarissa then came to stand in front of Jonathan. She raised her arm and gently touched Jonathan's head.

Immediately after that, Jonathan felt a heat emanating from Clarissa's palm. This heat had begun to make its way to Jonathan's cerebral domain.

Soon, this warmth turned into information that was drilled into Jonathan's mind.

This transmission was akin to codes running through a computer.

Jonathan received so much information that he only felt chaos in his mind. All of the information was disorganized. Jonathan also felt a head-splitting pain, and he could not help but groan softly.

After a while, Clarissa retracted her hand. “First, I want you to not think about this information and let your mind go blank. It will sort itself out in your cerebral domain. When that happens, you can go through it all slowly.”

Clarissa's method of teaching was through a transfer of the primordial spirit.

It was akin to forcibly merging her memories into Jonathan's mind.

Jonathan immediately let his mind go blank and chose not to think about anything else. With that, his headache gradually disappeared too.

“This is dragon blood essence. I'm giving this to you.” Having said that, Clarissa extended her hand.

In the center of her palm was a blood-red crystalline ball, roughly the size of a fist.

The ball shone with the bright red hue of blood.

When Jonathan reached over to pick it up, he was slightly startled.

“Every dragon has a blood-red crystal ball like this one,” said Clarissa with a wry smile. “It's called a dragon essence ball. To everyone else, this is a very potent poison. Let's take your companion as an example. He is no doubt highly skilled, but if he ingests this dragon essence ball, then his blood will explode, and he will die immediately. The truth is that not many people in the world can withstand the absolute power of a dragon essence ball. Yet, this dragon essence ball is the best panacea for your blood. This is just how strange fate is.”

“Thank you for doing this, Ms. Clarissa.”

“There's no need to thank me,” tutted Clarissa. “If anything, this is just an equal exchange.”

“Without you, Torrence and I would be dead. This is not an equal exchange. Regardless, you were a

savior to us,” replied Jonathan.

Clarissa smiled gently at Jonathan. “Well, I've already done my part. What happens next is all up to you. I'm looking forward to you moving on to the next stage. It's only a pity that I won't be here to witness it.”

Jonathan and Torrence were filled with sorrow when they heard this.

Just then, Jonathan seemed to have recalled something as he asked, “Ms. Clarissa, can you tell me who exactly it was who sealed off your people? Why did they do this to you?”

A look of discomfort flashed in Clarissa's eyes. “This is the greatest humiliation ever faced by the dragons. This person was called Dhynos, but the humans called him Divine Emperor. He parted the veil of time and space and sought us out because he wanted a dragon essence ball for himself. The crystal is where our essence lies. If one takes this away, then the dragon in question would not survive. Dhynos' request was excessive, so naturally, nobody agreed to it. As such, a fight broke out. Even though Dhynos had great powers, he was no match for the collective might of the dragons. In the end, Dhynos was so enraged that he...”

Clarissa shook her head before she continued, “Dhynos was a true genius. He was so enraged that he hid somewhere and mastered the power of the magic elements. He then fused his mana with the elements to cast the forbidden ice seal, which trapped us here. Yet, in the end, he never got the dragon essence ball he wanted. After venting his anger, he eventually left Moranta. Before leaving, he also left some parting words. He said that our only hope in the future lay with the Chosen One.”
