I Am Unstoppable

Chapter 443

Chapter 443

Moose wore a slightly embarrassed expression on his face. He suddenly turned to Jonathan and asked smilingly, “You won’t kill me, will you, Jon?”

Chuckling, Jonathan answered, “Of course not! What are you saying, Mr. Moose? I’m still counting on you to bring me to see Theos and put in a good word for me.”

Right then, Moose felt that the man appeared sinister with a smile on his face. Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.

Alas, he had no choice but to laugh as well.

Out of the blue, Jonathan added, “Since Torrence managed to flee here, it would seem that he’s a crafty man. I’m worried about those youngsters’ ability to handle the matter without you supervising them.” Pausing briefly, he continued, “Why don’t we go after them, Mr. Moose? If anything goes wrong, I can be of some help. Then, I can be considered as having contributed in Theos’ eyes. What do you think?”

At that, Moose instantly agreed since he had planned to do so anyway. He could never rest easy outside while having no knowledge of the situation inside though he had ordered that group of young men to jump in for the sake of speed earlier.

Being with Jonathan then, he even had to consider the man’s wishes. Moreover, he expanded too much spiritual energy and was currently unsuited to utilize magic again. Without using magic, falling from a height of thirty meters would render him half-dead.

He promptly replied, “With your help, Jon, Torrence would never be able to escape this time. Don’t worry. When the time comes, I’ll definitely give you the greatest credit before Theos!”

Flashing him a smile, Jonathan urged, “Let’s go. I’ll carry you, Mr. Moose.”

Naturally, Moose did not refuse that offer.

Jonathan proceeded to carry the man on his back and instructed Yeverie to follow closely.

Upon reaching the pit, he jumped down without hesitation. A height of thirty meters was nothing to him. Despite carrying a weight on his back, he bent his knees and bounced up when he landed, banishing all the pressure in an instant.

To Moose, the landing this time was exceedingly stable.

Subsequently, Jonathan placed Moose down.

After doing that, he darted his eyes around.

Although it was night, there was a faint light in the palace, illuminating the surroundings and making it seem like it was daytime.

There were twelve ice pillars in the main hall, evidence of the vastness of the palace.

Everywhere was smooth and bare like a mirror.

At the same time, an inherent chill was present in that place. After getting off Jonathan’s back, Moose started getting affected by it.

Jonathan did not see anything in the main hall. Torrence was long since gone. Even Skylar and the others had disappeared without a trace.

At once, he calmed down and condensed his focus, sensing all the changes around him.

Shortly after, he sensed movement a hundred meters to the east.

“Let’s go!” Taking up the lead, he strode ahead.

Immediately, Moose and Yeverie followed behind him.

On the left side of the main hall was a crystal corridor that extended in all directions and connected many palaces and stone chambers.

The entire place resembled a maze.

Moving according to his intuition, Jonathan made it a hundred meters to the east in no time.

He was greeted by the sight of something that looked like a cave.

However, the cave was also covered in ice.

The palaces elsewhere were grand, with strong traces of artificial carving. On the contrary, that place was formed naturally.

That cave was expansive at a thousand square meters, and it was hard to see the end of it at a single glance.

The domed ceiling was very high, layered with jagged rocks.

In the middle of the space was a hot spring. There were a number of exotic flowers and fruits on the right, making for a swathe of greenery.

Before entering the cave, Jonathan even noticed two words above its mouth.

Needless to say, it was in Ustranasian.

It read: Dragon Palace.

He had no time to dwell upon the majesty of Dragon Palace and everything else, for he soon witnessed a scene before him that he would never forget.

He was not the only person who plunged into a trance.

In truth, Torrence, Skylar, and the others were also there.

They were all gaping at the massive ice sculpture in front of them.

A giant dragon measuring thirty feet tall and two feet in length and width respectively was frozen in ice.

It appeared like a great piece of art.

In the ice, the black dragon was so vivid that it seemed to be alive.

Its size was so enormous that one could not see its entire body with a single look.

It had its fangs bared and claws raised, yet it was motionless. That aside, surprise and fury were reflected in its eyes.

That had been its posture all that time for years on end.

As a Holy Golden Knight, Torrence seemingly could not accept that fact. He appeared somewhat dejected. “Why?”

Jonathan heard the man voicing that question in a muted voice.

At that moment, Moose was the first to gather his wits about him. Cackling, he declared, “Torrence, you traitor, you wanted to gift Auropurple Crown to Demon Dragon in exchange for its protection, but it now appears that your wish is going to amount to nothing.” He paused for a moment before continuing, “Since you dared disobey and betray Theos, I must bring you back to Holy Church today so you’d suffer infinitely. Only then would Theos’ majesty be revealed.”

By then, Torrence had also snapped back to his senses. He swung his eyes at Skylar and the others coldly.

Skylar and the others drew their swords and dropped into a combat stance.

Thereafter, Torrence’s eyes returned to Moose. Finally, he swept his gaze over Jonathan and Yeverie.

Surprisingly, there was not a hint of emotion in his eyes. It was as though he had never been acquainted with the two of them.

Jonathan’s heart lurched. He knew the man had not forgotten him and Yeverie but was only reluctant to drag them into the mess.

Torrence wore a silver cloak, and he likewise whipped out his sword. It was a jumbo silver sword, its blade much broader than an ordinary one.

He had a forbidding expression on his face then. Dressed in a silver cloak, he held Hallowed Sword in one hand. It was the exact image of a cool, dashing, and domineering male lead.

Strong and mighty, he could have countless girls fall head over heels in love with him.

Sneering, he scanned his gaze over Skylar and the others, scoffing, “What a bunch of worthless wastrels! The lot of you think you can kill me? Ah, forget it! You shall all be a blood tribute to this Hallowed Sword of mine here today!”

That proclamation was downright arrogant.

In a flash, Skylar and the others snapped. Their eyes blazed scarlet, and they almost lashed out in response.

Verily, he’s just too conceited!

Skylar who was beyond talented despite his young age, instantly let out a roar.

Shooting to his feet, he cried out, “I want to challenge you, Torrence!”

Beside Moose, Jonathan furtively frowned as he watched the show. This Skylar guy truly isn’t the sharpest pencil in the box. Torrence only started provoking him, but he has already fallen for it!

At once, Torrence snorted at Skylar and retorted, “You’re unworthy of challenging me, Skylar! Get lost!”

Just when Moose was about to stop Skylar, the latter gave a battle cry and lunged forward at lightning speed. Like an arrow, his sword headed straight for Torrence’s throat.

There was more than one sword in Skylar’s storage ring. As such, he had a new sword though his saber had broken into two when he fought Jonathan.

“Why are you all still spacing out? Attack him together! You must capture this traitor! If you can’t get him alive, dead will do!” Moose bellowed furiously.

Following that order, Ducson and the others swiftly teamed up to surround Torrence on all sides. But for the time being, the latter fought with Skylar.

Without warning, a metallic clang pierced the air. Torrence’s Hallowed Sword was so powerful that it had Skylar stumbling back three steps.

On the heels of that, Torrence whirled around and broke free from the encirclement.

If it were not for Moose acting as backup, it would truly be difficult for the group of young men to kill him.

Livid, Skylar promptly gave chase.

With that, they all engaged in a cat-and-mouse battle in Dragon Palace.

Torrence should be thankful for the immense size of that place. Otherwise, he would have been besieged at close range by those combat arts experts. If that happened, death would be the only fate

awaiting him.

After all, even random hits could kill a person, much less when that group of Gold Holy Golden Knights were master swordsmen.

Jonathan knew that if he were to be stabbed by twelve master swordsmen, he would also be riddled with holes in the blink of an eye.

That said, nobody was that great a fool to allow twelve men to surround him and stab him as they wished.

Torrence moved like lightning, occasionally swinging his sword in retaliation. Thanks to him, the group of men ended up in a rather wretched state.

Skylar screeched, for he simply could not match the man.

As Moose watched at the side, a dull headache assailed him.

Meanwhile, Jonathan was amused.

He had discovered something—the Golden Knights’ mental capacity was questionable.

It was not that they were dumb, but their thinking was somewhat rigid, likely because Golden Knights’ culture and principles were engraved deeply in their bones.

They were still passable when they battled with a single person. But once such a situation transpired, they got lost.

“Jon, can you go to the front and block the path of that traitor? Considering your capabilities, you’ll have no problems heading him off. As long as you can do that and allow the others at the back to surround

him, this matter would be resolved,” Moose could not help saying to Jonathan. Pausing briefly, he continued, “Don’t worry, for I’ll definitely give you the greatest credit when we go back!”

Rubbing the tip of his nose, Jonathan replied, “Look at his sword, Mr. Moose. It seems extraordinary to me! I’m unarmed, yet you’re asking me to block his path. That’s his only hope of survival, so he’s going to attack anyone who’s in the way. I’m just afraid I wouldn’t have the opportunity to take any credit at that time but end up sacrificing my life for Theos. I’m not scared of dying, but the thing is, I don’t even know what Theos looks like. Don’t you think that’d be unfair to me?”

“Don’t you have that pair of gloves?” Moose countered.

Inwardly, Jonathan was tickled pink.

If I were to block Torrence’s path, he would undoubtedly fall today. But how could I possibly allow that?

However, he did not want to strain things with the man yet. He wanted to wait and see before giving Torrence a hand at the critical juncture.

Pondering for a while, he inhaled deeply and relented, “In that case, I’ll go, Mr. Moose. If anything happens to me, please take care of my sister.”

He acted as though he was conveying his last wishes before he sacrificed himself.

Moose immediately assured, “Don’t worry. I’ll certainly take good care of your sister.”

“Jonathan…” Yeverie called out worriedly, unsure about Jonathan’s intentions.

Jonathan patted her on the shoulder in reassurance.

Thereafter, he put on his Dragon Binding Gloves and set out.
