I Am Unstoppable

Chapter 435

Chapter 435

It was rare to see the sun in the snowy tundra.

Jonathan and Yeverie each ate some snowberries before beginning their journey. Packing the sleeping bag into the spatial ring allowed them to travel light while pressing forward quickly.

Jonathan subsequently reminded himself to load the spatial ring with more food and supplies, such as an outdoor tent, once he returned to the boundless universe.

After all, carrying all those stuff in his spatial ring was relatively convenient.

The world outside was covered with snow as far as the eye could see.

While Jonathan and Yeverie traveled as fast as they could, they kept an eye out for any signs of snowberries.

As snowberries were a common fruit in the snowy tundra, they gathered more than sixty of them along the way. Traveling at a blistering pace, they covered more than a hundred and fifty kilometers in a day.

They had no concerns at all, given that they could rejuvenate themselves with snowberries.

Nevertheless, both Jonathan and Yeverie felt that relying on their raw strength was an utter waste of time.

If they were in the boundless universe, they could easily cover nineteen thousand kilometers in just two days by flight.

Jonathan couldn’t help but be awed by Moranta’s vastness.

What is the true nature of dimensional spaces? Every inch of the surface of the Earth has been taken over by man. Does that mean that it is located above the Earth? If that’s the case, how does such a

vast space even fit in?

Despite his vast knowledge, Jonathan couldn’t explain the mystery of Moranta.

Everything that existed had a logical explanation to it. Only Moranta and dimensional spaces were unfathomable to him.

Nonetheless, it didn’t mean those things were inexplicable. It was just a sign that Jonathan hadn’t reached the level required to understand them.

In order to unlock the mystery, Jonathan had to mentally extract himself from the world and observe life objectively. He also had to gain an understanding of five-dimensional spaces, the theory of relativity, and the theory of evolution. Moreover, the ability to mentally visualize time as objects that can be differentiated was essential to learning what dimensional spaces were and why so many of them existed.

The theory of evolution stated that every part of a creature’s body, be it human or animal, had evolved based on its natural surroundings.

Therefore, within the structure of the universe, there was a purpose for the existence of every single atom or dimensional space.

This was consistent with the principle that everything in the world was interconnected.

Finally, darkness began to fall as night approached.

The nights were long and days short in the snowy tundra.

Whenever night approached, the wind and snow would blow with unbelievable intensity.

Cognizant that haste made waste, they found a place to shelter from the wind. After digging up a hole in the snow, both of them quickly snuggled into the sleeping bag.

Given that their bodies had grown used to the cold, they didn’t emit a lot of heat that would usually cause the ice around them to melt.

Although they no longer needed the sleeping bag to keep them warm, it was still cleaner and more comfortable than sleeping in the snow itself.

Both of them quickly fell asleep, but before long, Jonathan could sense that something was wrong.

Unable to explain the sensation, he sat up right away.

After doing so, he could faintly hear voices from someplace far away.

To be able to see another human in a desolate place like that was definitely a welcome sight.

While Jonathan was elated by the thought, Yeverie, too, heard the noise.

Both of them packed up the sleeping bag and walked toward the sound after exchanging glances with each other.

The voices came from a group of people who were around three hundred meters away from them. Coincidentally, the wind was blowing in Jonathan’s direction, carrying the sounds along with it.

As both Jonathan and Yeverie were brave and capable, both of them decided to check the situation out.

Upon approaching the group, they could see flames burning from a distance.

It seems they really are humans.

Nevertheless, Jonathan didn’t forget that the snowy tundra was used as a place of exile. As a result, he knew he had to stay vigilant, for anyone they encountered there was expected to be vicious.

“Don’t make a sound!” Jonathan instructed Yeverie, to which she nodded.

Soon, both of them got closer and were greeted by the sight of three tents.

The light from the fire was coming from within them.

On top of that, Jonathan and Yeverie caught the delicious aroma of meat.

They’re cooking something inside. It smells like mutton soup.

The fragrant aroma caused Jonathan’s and Yeverie’s stomachs to growl, for it had almost been a month since they last tasted any meat.

Not knowing who they were dealing with, Jonathan didn’t dare act recklessly, let alone approach the group to greet them.

Instead, he continued to listen closely to what they were discussing. Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

Even though they were speaking in Ustranasian, it didn’t prevent Jonathan from eavesdropping on them, as his proficiency in Ustranasian was almost as good as his mother tongue.

The first tent was the main tent and also the largest one. From within it, a burly man could be heard speaking in a resonant voice. “My Lord, we have been pursuing the rebel for three whole months but have not seen a trace of him. Is it possible that he might not even be in this snowy tundra?”

“Impossible!” The deep voice of an old man rang out from beside them. “I have concluded that the rebel fled here based on the prophecy of the Holy Scripture. Throughout our journey, I have also used the sacred Crystal Ball to probe his whereabouts and am sure that he’s right in front of us.”

“Mr. Moose, it’s not my intention to question your judgment,” the burly man quickly clarified.

At that moment, Skylar Janley began to speak. His voice sounded young, as if he was in his twenties. He said to Moose, “Mr. Moose, if we continue our pursuit, we will arrive at Demon Abyss, where Demon Dragon lives. It’s a forbidden area that outsiders are not allowed to enter.”

Moose explained, “Lord Janley, I understand your concerns very well, but the rebel is likely seeking out Demon Dragon to obtain its protection. That said, Demon Dragon isn’t easy to persuade. Anyhow, we have no choice but to trespass into Demon Dragon’s territory. As the rebel has gotten hold of a sacred object, his escape from the snowy tundra would be a major blow to Supreme Sect. In the event he has come to an agreement with Demon Dragon, we’ll have to offer it better terms to condemn the rebel to death. No matter what, the rebel cannot be allowed to live, as the fate of Supreme Sect depends on it.”

Skylar nodded upon hearing his words. “I understand, Mr. Moose.”

While listening outside, Jonathan focused all his attention on the main tent. As for the other two tents, some of their occupants were busy feasting, while others were complaining loudly.

At that very moment, a cold glint flashed across Moose’s eyes. “Who goes there?”

Skylar and the burly man were both given a shock.

Jonathan, too, was just as stunned.

D*mn it, I can’t believe how sharp this Moose guy is. How did he sense my presence after all the effort I put in to hide it?

Nonetheless, Jonathan didn’t panic at all.

This shouldn’t be happening. Can it be a mistake? Or is someone else eavesdropping too? Situations like this happen all the time in the movies.

However, Jonathan’s wishful thinking was quickly dispelled.

In the midst of the fire’s illumination, a group of torch-bearing men rapidly surrounded Jonathan and Yeverie, causing them to stand straight up.

As Jonathan scanned the crowd, he quickly spotted Skylar among them. The latter appeared to be in his twenties and had handsome features. With a red cloak draped over his shoulders, he exuded an air of inexplicable charm.

As for Moose, he was dressed in a black robe and looked exceptionally stern.

These men kept their hair long and draped over their shoulders like those in ancient times.

The burly man that was standing beside Moose was the same one that had spoken earlier.

He was the size of a bear and was wearing a suit of golden armor. On his waist hung a golden trefoil sword that was used by knights.

This man is a knight. Can he be a Golden Knight?

As for the rest of the group, there were about ten men in total, all of them equipped in golden armor. The armor was made with a special kind of material that made it light yet capable of withstanding the attack of an enemy sword.

At that moment, the entire group had Jonathan and Yeverie surrounded.

Jonathan could immediately tell that those men were all formidable warriors. Not daring to act recklessly, he eked out an awkward smile. “This is a misunderstanding!”

Skylar threw Jonathan a frosty look, but when his gaze fell upon Yeverie, his eyes lit up with a sense of admiration and awe. In spite of that, he maintained an icy tone toward Jonathan. “Who are you? How

dare you eavesdrop on the Supreme Sect?”

Upon learning that they belonged to a sect, Jonathan bowed before speaking in fluent Ustranasian. “Distinguished gentlemen, my sister and I are from the main world. We stumbled into this snowy tundra by accident and lost our way. When we heard voices, we came over to check out of curiosity and bear you no ill will at all.”

Jonathan had considered his words carefully. Cognizant that the group before him was not to be trifled with, Jonathan knew that lying would bring about terrible consequences.

He might be able to escape if a fight were to break out, but Yeverie would be done for, given how powerful the men before him were.

Hence, he had no choice but to tell the truth.

As to why he mentioned that Yeverie was his sister instead of wife, that was because, in his mind, Catherine was still the latter.

“Main world?” Skylar and Moose were both shocked.

Despite exchanging glances, each of them had their own agenda.

Skylar looked at Jonathan and asked, “Are the both of you really from the main world?”

“Without a doubt!” Jonathan added, “There’s no way I would dare to lie to you. Even if I did, I would say something more believable.”

Moose suggested, “Lord Janley, I have a way to determine if they’re telling the truth.”

Skylar agreed, “All right then. I’ll let you be the judge, Mr. Moose.”

Moose came forward and said, “I’m a Rank Seven Magician of Light Magic. By using my powers to read your mind, I can tell immediately if you’re lying or not.”

Jonathan’s face drastically darkened as he asked, “How are you going to do it?”

Moose explained, “All I have to do is to touch your head and probe your mind with Light Magic.”

Just as I expected! Jonathan backed off with Yeverie in tow.

“You can’t do that!” Jonathan swept his gaze across the crowd before settling it on Moose. “My brain is the weakest part of my body, one that could cost me my life. There’s no way I would expose my weakness to you.”
