I Am Unstoppable

Chapter 262

Chapter 262

Kairo looked at Jonathan and said flatly, “You heard what Briana said too, didn't you?”

Shaking his head, Jonathan gave him a bitter smile and replied, “Although I am just a nobody, I'll never bow down to anyone. Men should not bow to anyone so easily. I can bow to the gods and my parents, but not others!”

Kairo's full name was Kairo Golding. He thought that Jonathan was just a ruffian, so he looked down on the latter. He sneered and said, “I'm not that patient. It's okay if you don't want to bow.” Then, he turned to look at one of the people behind him and added, “Terry, teach him the proper way to behave.”

“N-No!” Jonathan immediately pleaded in fear. He looked at Briana and went on, “Briana, my dad and your dad were close friends. Please save me!”

Briana ignored him.

She hated him to the core.

Just then, a man's voice was heard. “What happened?”

An elegant and sophisticated man, who looked around twenty-six years old, emerged from the corridor.

He was Sean Watson.

He looked handsome and exuded an indescribable grace and charm wearing a suit and a pair of leather shoes.

He had an air similar to that of those in power when he spoke.

At a glance, Jonathan could tell that Sean was also in the early stage of Nascent Soul.

After Sean appeared, Briana happily ran over and threw herself into his arms while greeting, “Sean.”

Wrapping his arm around Briana's waist, Sean smiled faintly and replied, “You're here, Briana.”

Briana planted a kiss on his cheek and said coquettishly with pouted lips, “You never take the initiative to come and see me.”

With a wry smile, Sean explained, “You know that your father doesn't like me.”

“Hmph, I don't care what he thinks. You're the only man I want anyway,” Briana declared.

Sean appeased, “Alright. There, there.” He then took her hands.

The two walked over intimately. Sean shot Jonathan an indifferent glance and turned to ask Kairo, “What's going on?”

“Sean, this ruffian calls you a sissy,” Kairo replied respectfully.

Stunned, Sean asked, “Why does he say so?”

“He said you're a man but you run a spa,” answered Briana.

Smiling, Sean said, “Well, it's his right to say whatever he wants. We should just mind our own

business and don't care about what others say.”

Seeing that Sean had said so, Kairo knew he should not pursue the matter further. The latter looked at Jonathan and said, “You're lucky. Now, get out.”

After thanking them, Jonathan said nothing further and prepared to leave right away.

Yet, Briana said, “Sean, we can't let this lunatic leave. You have no idea how horrible he is. He kept bullying me and making me angry. Also, he actually said I was his fiancée. I don't know what's wrong with my dad either. He wants me to marry him.”

Sean's face fell in an instant. A gloomy, uncertain look flickered in his eyes.

Jonathan picked up the pace, making it look like he was going to flee.

Sean called out, “Wait a minute!”

Jonathan immediately turned around and said with a wry smile, “Oh, Sean, It's really not my fault. My father and Briana's father were former comrades-in-arms. They arranged our marriage when we were kids.”

With a faint smile, Sean replied, “We live in a modern world now. Arranged marriage is irresponsible and a retrogression of civilization. Don't you think?”

Troubled, Jonathan disagreed, “Not exactly. Our parents gave us life, so we still have to respect their wishes. Don't you think so, Sean?”

“My as*! Who do you think you are? Do you think a ruffian like you is worthy of Ms. Yarbrough? Come on, tell me, are you?” Terry snapped, questioning Jonathan with an obvious threatening tone.

Jonathan immediately answered in fear, “No, I'm not worthy.”

“Coward!” Terry said disdainfully.

Briana's disdain grew stronger.

Jonathan asked, “Can I go?”

“What's your name?” asked Sean indifferently.

“Jonathan Lawson.”

“Jonathan, you and Briana should join us. No matter what, your father and Briana's father were good friends. That makes you my friend too. Since you're here today, I should be a good host to you, right?” Sean said.

“You don't have to,” replied Jonathan with a bitter smile.

“I should show the proper etiquette, so it's decided, then.”

Sean did not give Jonathan a chance to refute or refuse. NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.

Jonathan could also see that Sean might look gentle and speak kindly on the surface but his words

carried hidden threats.

He's no ordinary man!

Meanwhile, Briana could not help but feel displeased and said, “Sean, what kind of friend is he? Does he deserve it?”

Sean patted her on the hand and assured her, “I know what I'm doing.”

Jonathan laughed dryly at his words and asked, “Sean, you're not going to pull a trick on me, are you?”

“Trick your as*! Are you worthy of getting tricked by Sean? Tell me, are you?” Terry snapped again.

With a hollow laugh, Jonathan replied, “I'm not.” There was a subtle chill in his eyes, but he did not show it.

Sean turned to Kairo and said, “Invite Owen, Ronald, and Phillip over, so that we can catch up. It can be considered as a welcome party for Jonathan.”

“Sure!” Kairo replied.

Jonathan immediately knew that Sean was up to no good. The people the latter mentioned, namely Owen, Ronald, and Phillip, must be the debauched sons of wealthy men or government officials.

Sean could not teach Jonathan a lesson himself because he was afraid that Victor would criticize him, so he came up with such a vicious plan.

Jonathan kept silent. That's fine. Let's see what tricks you guys will play today.

After a while, Kairo was done calling the three friends of Sean.

Sean and his men then left Angelite Spa with Jonathan.

There were several cars outside Angelite Spa. Sean and Briana got in a Maserati, while Jonathan was taken by Kairo and the others into a Mercedes-Benz which was driven by Terry.

Kairo sat between Jonathan and another man.

Feeling awkward, Jonathan whispered to Kairo, “Kairo, I don't think it's necessary to hold a welcome party for me. Can I get out of the car?”

The other man was called Bjarne Eckhardt. He sneered and said, “You're not completely stupid. Do you want to get out of the car? Dream on!”

Before Jonathan could say anything, Terry shouted from the driver's seat, “If you don't f*cking shut up, believe it or not, I'll stuff shit into your mouth. Do you believe it or not, b*stard?”

Every time Terry swore at someone, he did not only swear but also insult them by making them answer him.

“I do!” Jonathan replied fearfully.

Finding it enjoyable, Terry laughed out loud and remarked, “What a cute little fool.”

About twenty minutes later, the car stopped in front of a club.

It was still early, so it was not open yet.

However, Sean and his men managed to get it to open to business in advance.

When they entered the place, the owner even greeted them at the door.

They soon entered a large private room.

Phillip, Ronald, and Owen each brought their female companions.

They had a great time exchanging pleasantries when they met.

After they were seated, a waitress came in to serve them.

The female companions looked like young models with attractive figures in revealing clothes.

The private room was instantly filled with the smell of women's perfumes and makeup.

Jonathan sat on the side alone, feeling uneasy.

Sean asked the waiter to bring in ten crates of beer.

Owen, Phillip, and Ronald obviously looked like debauched men who almost seemed arrogant.

Smiling faintly, Sean said, “Owen, Phillip, Ronald, let me introduce you.” With one arm around Briana's

waist, he pointed his finger of another hand at Jonathan and continued, “His name is Jonathan Lawson, Briana's fiancé. It's a marriage arranged when they were kids. We must be hospitable to him today.”

Being no fools, Owen, Phillip, and Ronald took Sean's hint as they knew the relationship between Sean and Briana.

Owen immediately asked his female companion to open a beer. He held up a bottle of beer and said, “Come on, Jonathan, here's a toast to you.”

Jonathan picked up the beer.

Owen took a sip, while Jonathan also took a sip before putting it down.

Owen's face clouded over in an instant as he said, “What now? Are you disrespecting me? I can't believe you only took one sip.”

Jonathan was stunned for a moment before replying, “But you also only took a sip, didn't you? I thought the one proposing a toast should finish their drink first to show their respect, isn't it?”

Terry went up and suddenly kicked Jonathan in the bottom. “M*therf*cker, Owen is being nice to you by making a toast to you, so just drink up.”

Jonathan shot Terry a fearful glance before gulping down the bottle of beer.

Afterward, Phillip also made a toast to Jonathan.

Being mentally prepared, Jonathan emptied another bottle of beer in one go.

He had high alcohol tolerance, so he actually did not take those beers seriously. If he was pushed too far, he could evaporate the alcohol and water through his sweat.

After seeing Jonathan finish the beer, Phillip sneered and commented, “Smart move.”

Following that, Ronald also proposed a toast.

Then, he said to his female companion, “You should toast him too.”

She obeyed with pleasure as she toasted Jonathan with a grin.

Jonathan asked with a sullen face, “Can I just take a sip? I really can't drink anymore.”

She immediately became displeased and said, “You're embarrassing me.”

Hearing that, Jonathan had no choice but to drink again.

After that, the other two female companions of Owen and Phillip took turns to toast Jonathan without being told to.

Saying nothing further, Jonathan drank the beer in one go.

With that, he had drunk six bottles of beer.

He staggered to his seat and said, “I can't drink anymore.”

Just then, Sean said, “Jonathan, I'd like to propose a toast to you. How about I drink one bottle while you do me a favor by having three bottles?”

“No, I can't. Sean, I really can't drink anymore. I'll die here if I continue drinking. Please just let me go,” Jonathan hurriedly refused.
