The more Tarquin thought about it, the more his heart raced. Without another moment's hesitation, he turned and swam back to shore with all his might.

Tarquin swam from the ocean's embrace back to shore, the chilly wind cutting through his drenched clothes, stimulating his skin. He didn't feel cold, though; instead, he felt a burning heat inside!
At that moment, a fierce fire was blazing within his heart!
Getting back to his car, he grabbed his phone only to see missed calls and messages from Elysia!
Surprised and thrilled, seeing her concerned and worried words made him come alive, grinning like an idiot.
