ONE TORTUROUS MONTH.
One month had passed by in a blur. That month was filled with nothing but torture, pain, and sadness for Sophia. Why?RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
Because of Chase.
She hadn’t talked to him – no, he hadn’t spoken to her – since the day he lashed her with his belt.
For the first few days after that incident, she hid herself in the safe confines of her room, a tiny part of her hoping he would go to her, force her to talk to him or maybe steal a kiss, but nothing happened. He ignored her.
Then, she finally saw the truth in his words. She badly wanted to apologize. All she wanted was for him to smile at her and pull her in his arms. She tried speaking to him, but he always gave her cold shoulders. He wouldn’t say a word to her, the highest he would do was walk out on her.
Then, all of a sudden, he disappeared. He never showed up at home. And when she asked, she was told that he had left the country for work. It hurt her badly.
And ever since then, he hadn’t returned back home.
Sophia missed him. She craved to hear his voice. She craved to look at him. She craved to feel his arms around her. She craved his touch. She craved his scent, and more importantly, she craved his presence.
She didn’t understand why she was feeling like that. She didn’t care about how miserable she felt. All she wanted was Chase. She wanted to be in his presence, in his arms, and under his possessive stare.
Sophia turned on her bed and opened her eyes, a groan leaving her lips. She turned and found Charlie fast asleep.
She felt jealous of the cat. The cat had never found it difficult to sleep. Sophia didn’t sleep at night. The only thing that helped her sleep was Chase’s scent. It seemed to calm her down and lull her into sleep and she’d imagine his arms wrapped around her and their legs tangled together.
Sophia sat up and dropped her legs off her bed before gently getting down from the bed so as not to wake Charlie up. She padded towards the door, barefooted, and opened it, then slid outside.
She exhaled lowly when she saw that no one was around. She walked towards Chase’s wing of the house and walked to his room. She turned the door knob and entered the dark room, the faint scent of sandalwood engulfing her nostrils.
Ever since she found out Chase wasn’t around, she found her comfort in his room. In there, she would be able to hug his sandalwood scented pillow, cover herself with his comforter since it had the same scent and she would instantly find sleep. Milk never helped again.
Maybe she had gotten addicted to his scent because the mere perceiving of it she had, she felt that itch only him could ease between her legs.
Sophia’s lips formed into a pout as her butt landed on the bed when she realized that his scent was wearing off. She began to wonder how she would find her comfort if the scent finally wears off.
Sophia closed her eyes shut, waiting for sleep to take over her until an image of Chase’s fingers inside her made her open her eyes.
She clamped her thighs shut at the feeling. It wouldn’t go. It only seemed to increase. She suddenly began to feel like his fingers were inside her, pumping her.
Sophia bit down on her lip and stared at the chandelier in the middle of the room, contemplating if she could help herself.
Her hands went to the waistline of her shorts, and she slid her right hand inside, trailing her fingers towards her clothed pussy. She let her hands linger there for a few seconds before pushing her panties aside and then began to draw slow, lazy circles on her clit the way Chase used to.
It didn’t work. It didn’t help.
She then trailed her middle finger to her entrance, feeling her slick wetness on the tip of her finger, before slowly pushing it inside. She slowly bucked her hips and brought out her finger, then pushed it back inside.
It still didn’t work.
She curled her finger and caressed her walls gently with the tip of her finger, hoping for some kind of release.
Again, nothing worked.
With a frustrated groan, she pulled out her fingers and buried her face in the pillow, letting out a huff.
~~~
Sophia nuzzled into the blanket as a small smile danced on her lips. She could feel him inside of her, slamming in and out of her in a fast, hard, and rough pace. She loved it. Her body loved it.
A moan left her lips. “Chase -”
Immediately, her eyes snapped open, and she expected to find him there. He wasn’t there. She was only staring directly at the ceiling of his room.
She sighed out when she realised she had a dream of Chase fucking her. Again.
Her eyes fell on the bedside table, and a frown marred her features as she stared at a bouquet of flowers and a red rectangular velvet box beside it.
She sat up and looked round to be sure it was Chase’s room she was in and indeed, she was still there. She had never woken up to a bouquet of flowers and a red box in Chase’s room before.
She stretched her hands and picked up the flowers, her eyes falling on a small white paper in it. Her hand on its own picked it up, and when her eyes fell on Chase’s crisp handwriting, an unconscious smile appeared on her face.
Chase had written to her. Finally.
Sophia kept the flowers beside her and giddily opened the paper fully. The content of the note was short, yet it made her heart flutter in warmth, and all her sadness vanished away.
Happy birthday.
That was all it read.
