“Luna” Dolphus stopped in front of the the two females.

“Do you feel any better?” He asked. Daciana shook her head positively in response.

What is she supposed to reply him with?

“H.. hope there is no problem?” She asked with uncertainty.

“No problem Luna, I just thought I should check on you to know how you are faring” Dolphus replied, he heard her sigh in deep relief.

Was she having the thought that he was sent by the Alpha king?

Alpha Connor’s beastly ways and how he acts towards people is simply affecting Dolphus.

People who are not supposed to be afraid of him feels maleficent at the mention of his name or at the sight of him.

Sometimes, Dolphus wish there is someone that will be able to coarse him.

Daciana felt so relieved, she had been worried for nothing.

Dolphus just nodded his head in response and chose to remain mute.

Kaira giggled and sat back down.

Dolphus stood beside Alpha Connor whose gaze were hard on the wall.

He had a lot of things running through his mind. Things he wished he could do right away.

“Do not stress your brain too much Alpha king, you know how it always ends please” Dolphus voiced out.

As strong as Alpha Connor is, his brain isn’t that strong.

Whenever his mind becomes too occupied, he encounters severe migraine or worse, goes into a short comma which usually take days, at most, a week.

Alpha Connor sighed, his right hand was placed on his forehead.

His head already began throbbing slightly but that is definitely not what’s bothering him.

“Dolphus” he called while baring his teeth, his aggressiveness reduced just a little bit.

“Yes Alpha king, shouldn’t we get your hand treated first? It looks swollen” he suggested.

Alpha Connor shook his head in response, his swollen hand doesn’t hurt or maybe, he is not feeling the pain.

Even if he does, he will wait for it to heal up itself. It will anyways, since his hand is pretty swollen, it will take some time before it gets back to normal.

Alpha Connor’s room looks like where two giant wolves had a fight, he messed it up with broken things on the floor.

When he was at least calm, the first person he called on is Dolphus.

He doesn’t trust himself, he might hurt just anyone in his state.

Dolphus immediately understood what he meant, he knows what a visit to their initial pack means.

He had watched Alpha’s young self go into so much pain, he watched his hatred towards omegas grow but couldn’t do anything about it.

Daciana woke up feeling refreshed, her arm wasn’t hurting like yesterday. The pain went down drastically which is a relief to her.

Since yesterday, she has been wondering on how she will work on the mines with a broken arm.

The medicine man already warned her about not stressing it but will the Alpha king care about that even when she got her arm injured because of him?

He wouldn’t care if she dies, he had attempted that several times. Her dying will make him happy.

At least, his unwanted and rejected mate won’t be there anymore. She wouldn’t be alive to cause him troubles or waste his hatred on her.

Daciana stood up from the bed, she did her business and headed out when she bumped into someone.

“Sorry, I wasn’t looking ahead” she apologized to the person.

“I finally met the rejected Alpha’s mate, I never thought I will see you around dear Luna”

Daciana heard a sarcastic remark and raised up her head.

Her eyes met with other pair of eyes staring at her with a smirk. She isn’t surprised that everyone knows her as Alpha Connor’s rejected mate.

But it hurt her more that someone is rubbing that fact on her face.

She looked away and straighten up trying not to seem affected by it.

She gave the guy in front of her a smile, that’s the only thing she could do.

He just stated a fact and she can’t say otherwise and so, she chose to walk away.

“You are not just a rejected Luna, you are also rude” the male said again this time with a bitter chuckle.

Daciana halted, she turned back and stared at him cracking her head to remember if she had met him before now but she doesn’t think she have.

Why does it seems like he hates her? Is deciding to walk away instead of picking a fight now being tend as rude?

“You are so hot but too bad, you are unwanted” he added while checking her out.

Daciana bit her lip to control her anger.

“Do you have something against me?” She asked unable to keep mute.
