His Kindhearted Wife ( ENGLISH VERSION )

JACE’S POV

“Blaze maybe you can speed up a little so we can catch up with Margot,” I said worriedly.

“If we speed it up we might not notice her.” Son of —- where is she? Why didn’t she calm down when she knew she wasn’t alone. “Are you worried about Margot and Umami or just Umami?”

“Are you stupid? Of course with the two of them.” Asshole, that’s my wife and child and then he wants me to worry about only one?

“Because you’re slow that is why this is happening.”

“Blaze, if you blame me, please not now? You know that we need to catch Margot. And all of you knows that she’s there you didn’t tell me right away. Or at least greet her directly so I know she’s there.”

“Is it our fault that you’re slow? We’re already preventing you from talking. You’re still a blabbing.”

“Your crazy wife is triggering me.”

“You also fight, you know she’s being silly. And please don’t blame us because of your stupidity. Blame your slow mind for not working properly.”

“OK!”

“That is true, you’re a slow fool. You have the courage to have a mistress, but you’re slow.”

“Repeat over and over again.”

“Don’t get mad, you’re really slow.”

“You’re my fortress, Blaze.” He did not answer and looked down the road again. I am hoping and praying that I can catch her soon. I want to explain to her everything. I want her to know that what I said to Maggie is not true. I just want Maggie to piss.

“Margot has known about you and Brianna for a long time. But because you’re slow, you know nothing.”

“What?”

“I’ll repeat it so you can stand your slowness?”

“Come on Blaze you’re already infected with your crazy wife.”

“You know, Jace, I can’t hit you because you’re a friend but I’ll just remind you even though Dylan said a long time ago. ‘One more time you will call Maggie crazy and your parents will cry for you forever.’ You have a lot and I count that and I can call Dylan, anytime.”

“I understand, I was just surprised.”

“We all already know that Margot already knows everything.

“‘You didn’t even tell me?”

“Why should we tell you? You like that to happen. One more thing, Maggie and Margot warned you to face to face but you’re slow you know nothing.” I leaned back in the chair. I was even more nervous because of what Blaze said and I don’t know why. I thought I was able to keep it a secret from her, but she turned me around thinking that I had gotten through my nonsense.

“What Maggie did is to warn you that Margot already knew everything. Just at your wedding, your lipstick, we all know it’s Brianna but because your wife loves you and doesn’t want to embarrass you. She just covered you by admitting that it was her even though she knew it wasn’t. So if you thought you deceive her, you’re really slow. ”

“All of you is an ass.”

“Face the consequences of your action.” While Blaze is driving, his cellphone rang and he answered immediately. ”

“Yes, love?” “What?” “Ok, on the way.”

“What happened?” I asked as my chest throbbed harder. The news that Blaze received didn’t seem good and I saw it on his face. “Blaze?”

“Jace, Margot had an accident and it’s bad. She’s in the hospital now.” He turned the car back.

“What, which hospital?”

“Happy Smile and they’re all there.”

Son of the—- I hope she’s ok. I hope Umami is ok, I hope Margot is ok. If I could just jump in the car and be in the hospital right away I would have done it. I feel like the speed of the car is like the speed of a turtle. I hope nothing bad happens to my son and I may never really forgive myself.

When I arrived I didn’t wait for Blaze and went straight to the emergency room. Maggie sat on the side next to Dane while Joker was in charge of Phoenix.

“Where’s Margot?” I asked but they were just looking at me. Even Maggie just stared even though the anger was obvious on her face.

“It’s inside the ER. No doctor has come out yet,” Zeus replied. The door opened and a doctor came out.

“Who among you is the father of the child?”

“Me.” I approached the doctor and they followed me. “She’s my wife.”

“I will be honest, Mr. because we don’t have time. You have to choose between your child and your wife.” I frowned at what the doctor said and then looked at my companions. So did Maggie and also frowned.

“What do you mean?”

“We try our best. But your wife is unconscious so we have to cut her to get the child out because her water bag has already burst. That means only one of them can survive. Your wife or your child.” It was as if a bomb had dropped on me. It was as if I was suddenly deaf to what the doctor said. Don’t sink into my mind what she said. I don’t want to choose.

“Please save them both.” I was holding the doctor’s hand. “I’m begging you.”

“We already try, but your wife is unconscious. Please decide.”

“Save my sister, please,” Maggie said.

“I’m sorry, we only accept the husband’s decision because he is the Father of the child.” Maggie looked at me but did not speak. Blaze grabbed her shoulder as if calming down.

“Please, Mr. decides now or both of them will be gone.” How do I decide? How can I choose if they are both important to me? My son and wife are the ones in question here. I said before that no matter what happens I will fight Umami with anyone. But how can I fight him now if his counterpart is his own mother? How can I be dumb to both?

This is my fault. I no longer knew what to do. My son Umami and Margot is also important to me.

“Jace, choose what you think is right,” Dane said and held me by the shoulder and they were in a row.

“We’re always here for you, sucker.”

“Choose what you think is right, Jace.” I watched as Maggie spoke while holding back tears.

“I am always at your side, Jace. Brother’s Code,” Blaze said holding his wife’s hand.

“Maggie.” I don’t want to decide. I have no choice among them. “Please help me.”

“It’s up to you, that’s your wife and child. My sister and nephew.” Then she averted her gaze. I bent down and cried and cried because I didn’t know what to do anymore.

“Sir, we don’t have time. Please decide or else they will both be gone.” Someone pulled me closer while hugging me. I don’t know who but he caressed my shoulder.

“Do it, you hold the life of one of them.” It’s Zeus.

I knew Margot would never forgive me for my choice. But I had to do it because I didn’t want to lose them both to me. I am sorry Margot, it is my fault why this happened. It’s my fault why you’re in that situation. I am to blame. I should be the only one there. I hope I am the one to die.

“Please save my —–” It is hard, I can’t pronounce. It’s like, that once I say I will lose the family that I wanted to build. “I can not do it.”

“Jace, please, time is running,” Dane called.

“P-please save my w-wife.” I sobbed. “Please save my wife.”

I felt their hug on me. I could no longer control myself and I started to cry.

‘Umami, I am sorry. I love you so much, son. But I can’t sacrifice your mommy because it’s my fault why you’re there in that situation and I still have to apologize to her. I am sorry son, forgive me because you were involved by daddy’s stupidity. I hope I’m the only one in there. If only I could change what happened but it is too late. I love you so much, Umami.’

“We’re here, sucker. We won’t leave you.”
