His Destructive, Toxic Love

Chapter 577

Getting Casper all riled up was no biggie, but if he decided to take Juan down with him, that would be a whole different ball game. Juan rubbed his neck, feeling a shiver run down his spine.

The car pulled up at Bella, and Eliza sauntered in with all the confidence in the world. Inside the private room, there was a lineup of blond, blue-eyed male models, standing like they were waiting for the emperor's nod of approval. Eliza gave Juan a come-hither gesture and whispered, "Guess who owns Bella nightclub?"

"Who?"

"It's Casper." She nodded towards a camera tucked in the corner. "Trust me, based on what I know about Casper, he's probably losing it in front of his screen right now. He'll be watching us like a hawk, so let's put on a good show."

Juan felt a bead of sweat trickle down his forehead. Casper was keeping tabs on them? Did that mean he already knew Juan was the mastermind here? Was it too late to make a run for it?

"Can I just leave now?" he asked, clearly having second thoughts. He'd rather keep breathing, thank you very much.

Eliza held onto him firmly. "No turning back now, but don't worry, I've got your back."

"Are you sure he won't off me?"

Juan couldn't help but feel like he'd made a colossal mistake. Why did he have to get tangled in their marital drama? Casper wasn't exactly a saint; he could end someone in a heartbeat. Juan's sacrifice seemed less noble and more like plain foolishness. "No, he won't. Just get on with it, or he'll start suspecting something." Eliza nudged Juan aside.© 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.

She lounged lazily on the plush couch, crossing her legs like a queen surveying her court, exuding both innocence and allure.

Juan decided to go all in. Pointing to the hefty watermelon on the table, he told the male models, "Whoever can smash this watermelon first, that's who we'll pick, and there'll be a nice tip in it for you."

Worried they might back out, he quickly added, "Don't worry, we're generous, and that watermelon isn't as tough as it looks. First to break it, wins."

He noticed the surveillance camera shift. Yep, they were definitely being watched.

Time to step up his game. He tossed a stack of dollars onto the table. "The cash is right here, whoever's got the skills, come and get it."

"I'm up for it."

"I'll go first."

"No, me first."

The male models jostled for position.

Juan gestured for them to hold their horses. "And smashing the watermelon is just the warm-up."

He pointed to a durian next to the watermelon, shooting a glance at Eliza. "This one here deserves a little something extra."

Eliza caught on and fished out another stack of cash from her purse, handing it to Juan.

Clearing his throat, Juan announced, "You see, we're nothing if not generous. Whoever can crack open this durian too, besides these tips, will be tonight's star."

The male models exchanged glances, eager to take on the challenge.

"No need to rush, everyone will get a shot,” Eliza said with a soft smile her elegant waves of hair teased by her slender fingers, adding an air of mystery and allure.

Behind the monitor, a man in a silver mask grew visibly darker with frustration.

Dillon gulped, baffled at Eliza's newfound audacity. Picking male models one by one, and with Casper's money, no less. He was genuinely on edge for her.

"Mr. Casper, about Ms. Eliza..."

"She's trying to drive me up the wall." Casper, seething and with nowhere to vent, slammed the table.

Dillon: ...

He figured Eliza's plan was to get under Casper's skin. Surely, Casper was aware of that?

"Should I go tell those male models to head out?"

“Leave? No way. I want to see what

she's up to. Casper yanked a chair over, slamming it down before plopping into it heavily, as if a lightbulb went off in his head. "Call Roberts, tell him to swap the divorce papers for marriage ones

"You... want to remarry?" Was this about not having a leg to stand on when it came to jealousy? Probably.
