Today was Kylie’s birthday. Even though she doesn’t like me, doesn’t mean I can’t give her something for her birthday. We all went to the pack house and set up decorations. I had a table fill with presents from the pack, me and Jason. I made everyone hide when we got the call she was coming, I ducked behind the chair. Everyone else hid too. We heard the door open, we all jumped up yelling. “SURPRISE!!” She screamed and placed a hand on her heart. She had a boy behind her. “Is this for me?” She asked smiling. “Yeah Alpha and Luna decided to do this for you. Luna had to persuade alpha to make this all happen.” Someone said Kylie looked at me and smiled. It was a genuine smile, I beamed. She came over to me and hugged me tightly. “Thank you.” She said “You’re welcome, anything for a pack member.” I said returning the hug. She pulled away, she grabbed the boy’s hand. “This is Landon.. my mate.” She said I looked at Jason, he smiled at them. “No wonder she’s been so happy.” Alex said. I growled at him. “Alex..” I hissed warning. He looked down “Sorry Luna.” He whispered. “Well Landon welcome to the pack.” Jason said all the guy screamed and cheered. I laughed, Kylie smiled. “So what do you want to do first?” I asked “Can I actually go change?” She asked “Oh of course.” I said she made Landon sit while she ran upstairs. All the boys sat around Landon, and asked him questions all at once. “HEY QUIET!” I yelled over top of them. They fell quiet and looked at me. I smiled putting my hands together. “Shut your mouths and leave the boy alone. He just got here and you’re already asking him questions relax geez, Landon help yourself to anything here. Mi casa su casa.” I said he smiled a thanks. We all waited for Kylie to come back, after a while she came back. She was all dolled up. “Okay I’m ready to party.” She said I laughed. “We can do whatever you want.” She said “First I wanna apologize for how I treated you before, it was not right to do that I’m sorry Luna.” She said “Aww the big bad Kylie is going soft.” Alex said I punched his arm hard, Jason slapped him in the head. “Owe!” He said “Shut up.” Jason said I looked back at Kylie and smiled. “All is forgiven, right babe?” I said looking at Jason. He was talking to Alex about how he was behaving. I elbowed him in the side gently but hard enough to get his attention. “What? Oh yeah I forgive you.” He said than went back to talking some sense into Alex. We all started doing stuff like playing games or eating. Kylie looked so happy, i felt like my job as a Luna was to have all the members of the pack look that happy one day. We had cake and started to sing happy birthday. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.!” We sang “Brat.” I heard Alex say. Jason looked across the room at him and I grabbed him by his ear since he was next to me. “If you don’t stop it right now, I’ll ground you and make sure you never leave the house.” I threatened. “You’re not my mom.” He said i grabbed his ear tighter, he winced. “Do you understand me?” I asked “But-” he said “Do you understand your Luna?” Jason said walking over. “Yes I understand Luna.” He mumbled. “Okay good.” I said letting him go. He went and sat down in the living room. He was mad, I laughed he was like a little kid.
