“So I spoke with Rita today, we had a serious lengthy discussion” Adam informed Finn.

“What?? What did you tell her?” Finn squeaked.

“Not a single hint about for true identity. Chill”

“True, she would have dashed into my office to land a hot dirty slap on my face. So was it just a usual random conversation with her?” Yet he asked to confirm.

“Well, I wanted to know her own side of the story and I figured that you still communicate with her as Zane, you also had a great chat yesterday!” Adam emphasized on the word ‘Great’

“Rita told me she and Zane are on great terms but you are hostile towards her as Finn. So what’s the point?”

“I do not know what I’m doing anymore Adam, I told you it’s difficult and now it’s getting out of my hands. I couldn’t help but communicate with her as Zane” He grumbled.

“Well just so you know, it’s more better if you end things with her completely as the character Zane and move on with her as Finn forever, forever bury the secret that you were her online lover, that’s if she never ever finds out” Adam suggested.

Finn sighed heavily “It’s worse if she eventually finds out herself, and you aware that there’s more secrets to just being her online lover. I hope she never finds out and I hope she forgives me once she does. Impossible” He sighed, shamefaced. “I love Rita so much”

“She loves you too. Although, she is currently killing the feelings she has for you. You have to do something now before it’s too late” Adam urged.

“Adam, you advised me to end things with her as both Finn and Zane, now you are suggesting I end things with her as Zane only”

“Do not ever blame me! Finn, Zane, Finn, Zane, Zane ” Adam repeated the names and shook his head.

“Listen, this is not about what I’ve said, this is about both of you. I’m trying to mend things somehow. I’m sorry if my suggestion seem complicated but the issue on ground has already been way more complicated”

“Do you truly love Rita or you just wanna mess with her?”

“I love her so much, both as Finn, the CEO of Cosmetics And Beauty Company and as Zane, her online boyfriend. I love her from the bottom of my heart” Finn crossed his heart.

“Rita is also in love with those two identities without knowing you are one”

“Why did you give Rita a break again to travel to Canada?” Adam suddenly changed the topic.

“Rita is not going anywhere. Of course, I have a plan ahead” Finn replied and Adam shook his head. “You had better”

“Do you mind if I drop you off?” Finn asked, tightening his seatbelt as he was about to start the engine.

“No, please. I’m stopping by at my girlfriend’s place and you know she mustn’t suspect why we suddenly became close after pulling up a whole act to be worst enemies”

“Your girlfriend” Finn chuckled; “Speaking about her” He paused and slid out the invitation card out from his briefcase.

“You are not supposed to see this, I’m repaying you for all what you have done for me” He said and handled over the card to him.

“Woah! My birthday is on saturday and I didn’t remmber! Who did this? You’re throwing a birthday party for me?” Adam was shocked.

“Your girlfriend, dude!” Finn snatched the card from him. “It’s meant to be a surprise, I’ve given you a head up now and I regret it” He frowned.

“It’s still a surprise” Adam smiled while he got off the car.
