Harvey York's Rise to Power

Chapter 277

Chapter 277

Seeing how Harvey York and Ella Graves talked and laughed in the VIP area, Zack Zimmer’s face turned cold as ice.

How dare this live-in son-in-law pick up girls right before his eyes and spend so much money out of Zimmers’ pocket, he was going to kick Harvey out of the door today definitely.

Mandy Zimmer, who was resting in the room after dinner, heard her phone rang.

“Zack, it’s already late, what do you want?” Mandy answered the call coldly.

Zack rarely called her as they weren’t in their best terms.

“Mandy, you’re not with that trashy live-in husband of yours at home right?” Zack snickered.

“What do you mean by this? What does that have to do with you?” Mandy sounded as cold and distant as ever even through calls.

“Originally it has nothing to do with me, but the live-in son-in-law of the Zimmers is bringing some girl to the Niumhi Grand Hotel using our family’s hard-earned money, and even reserved the best seat in the western restaurant there, I think I have the right to question that as the vice CEO of the Zimmer family.”

Zack sneered. “I don’t care how you manage your live-in husband, but if you let that trash spend our money so recklessly right after you got promoted as our company’s finance manager, I won’t let you off the hook easily!”

Mandy shook a bit and replied instantly, “Harvey is not that kind of person…”

“Ha ha…” Zack sniggered and hung up.

After a while, a blurred picture was sent to Mandy’s phone, the silhouettes of a man and a woman could be seen closely together even though the picture wasn’t really clear. This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

“She’s the doctor…” Mandy had been suspicious of Harvey and her relationship before, and now she didn’t know how to feel as she saw this picture.

She thought she did not care much about Harvey or put much thought into him, but it seemed like she was wrong, very wrong indeed.

And Harvey that player said it himself that he had nothing to do with that doctor, and now they’re having dinner together.

“I haven’t even been to that place before!” Tears were swimming in Mandy’s eyes, she felt extremely hurt now.

Thumph…

After a while, Harvey’s clothes and mattress got thrown out to the hallway by Mandy, and then the door was slammed loudly.

Bang!

Xynthia Zimmer peeked out from her room with question marks all over her face, and then she exclaimed happily, “Mom, sis threw the douchebag’s stuff out of the room, seems like both of them are finally done!”

“Really?” Lilian Yates was very pleased upon hearing that. “That’s great, finally I can kick that worthless piece of trash out of the door!”

With that though in mind, she instantly pulled out her phone and started choosing new potential son-in-laws.

As long as they could get rid of that trash, she would find the best son-in-law just so he could help out Mandy in this family, and Lilian herself would get to continue her luxurious lifestyle of living.

At Niumhi Grand Hotel.

Without the blabbering of Zack, Harvey and Ella could finally enjoy their dinner in peace.

Throughout their talk he got to know Ella more, this girl was not at all calculating, she put her all on studies instead, and that was what Harvey admired of her.

After the dinner Ella was notified to take up a surgery, so Harvey sent her back and left.

However not long after he left the hospital, his phone buzzed.

Fishing the phone out of his pocket, Harvey had an odd look on his face as he saw the message was sent by Shirley Ryan.

Harvey York got even more speechless after reading the message.

“Harvey, Shirley is in my hands right now, I’m in the suburbs right now and don’t you dare to call the cops or else your old classmate would be dead. Jerry Zabel.”

The second message was a specified location sent through the text.

Harvey got in a sweat, he wasn’t interested in having anything to do with someone unimportant like Jerry, who knew he would kidnap Shirley so pathetically.

Breathing out a sigh, Harvey paid for a shared electric bike and roamed toward the suburbs.

All of those should not have anything to do with him, but since Shirley was his college desk mate who treated him well, plus he’s the one who caused this to happen, he had to go nevertheless.

At the suburbs of the Niumhi city, somewhere near to the cemetery.

Jerry pulled open the backdoor of the business car and ogled evilly at the woman who got tied up on the seat beside him.

Looking dainty and stunning without any makeup on, this was the true beauty! Jerry’s stare got hungrier as he stood there.

Shirley was awake after a while as she looked up at Jerry in panic. “Senior, what are you planning to do with me? I’m your fellow junior!”

“Junior my a*s!” Jerry sniggered. “Ask yourself, have you ever seen me as your senior? I was just a joke in your eyes, you looked down on me! And now you’re calling me a senior? What a slut you are!”
