Chapter 1151

Chapter 1151 I Couldn't Look the Other Way

"Isn't Victoria International Hospital a prestigious private hospital as you claimed? Why is security useless?

*The security officers are like the street gang. Can they really ensure the safety of the rich and powerful patients?" Kaze was the last man standing in the hallway.

Wiping his hands with a wet wipe, Kaze said nonchalantly.

His snide remarks did not sit well with the hospital staff of Victoria International Hospital. However, they dared not let their grievance known.

Kaze was a force to be reckoned with.

He knocked down two dozen men on his own. Besides, the two dozen men came at Kaze all at once.

Even an idiot would know by now that the Kaze was no easy target.

At least, Kaze was there to stay.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

Miriam's subordinates helped her up from the ground, and she straightened her hair and put on her golden- framed glasses. Miriam looked visibly upset.

The two dozen security guards did not leave a scratch on Kaze.

Miriam had never met such a skillful man in fighting.

"W-Who the hell are you? Who ordered you to start trouble at Victoria International Hospital?"

Miriam stayed away from Kaze, clearly scared of him.

However, her ego compelled her to keep her haughty act. Miriam started grilling Kaze.

"Me? I'm one of the ordinary people."

Kaze smiled faintly but spoke tauntingly, "If you stubbornly believe I'm starting trouble, so be it.

*But I didn't act on anyone's orders. I just couldn't look the other way. That's all.

"I believe no conscientious citizen could turn a blind eye to your behavior."

Kaze gave each and every staff member of Victoria International Hospital a disdainful look.

The hospital staff was disturbed by the look from Kaze. They wished they could tear the man with their bare hands.

Nevertheless, they could only play the scenario in their heads. They could never act on it.

Miriam gritted her teeth and shook in rage. "Sure, you're an amazing fighter.

*But I'll be honest. It's all about the money. Can your fighting beat the cash?

"I'll show you the wealth of Victoria International Hospital. It's something beyond your reach, lowly peasant.

*I will make a phone call to summon all the employees here. They will stop anyone from leaving.

*I'm curious if a self-righteous hero like you will attack other ordinary people."

Miriam whipped out her phone and smirked at Kaze.

Victoria International Hospital was a huge medical facility. Apart from the medical staff, there were caregivers and maintenance workers as well.

These people were just general workers.

They probably had no idea about the illicit scandals running behind the scenes at Victoria International Hospital. It solved a lot of employment issues, and her success in managing that aspect fueled her sense of entitlement. Miriam knew that she would rack the core of the medical system with just one phone call.

"Don't worry. I won't leave. I'm waiting for your phone call," Kaze said without a hint of emotion.

Kaze did not hesitate to take the security guards down, but he would not be so ruthless to the general workers. "You're in for a surprise."

Miriam scoffed. Once the call connected, she said, "Chief Woodcock, congratulations. I heard you're going to run the police force soon."
