Chapter 1146 Send Someone Competent

Kaze frowned at Will's words.

He instructed Draco's driver to take Will and the others to a nearby treatment facility.

The driver registered the patients and paid for the treatments before reporting back for duty at Lilyrose Strategic Department.

There was nothing more to it.

However, the staff conduct at Victoria International Hospital was appalling to refuse treatment to the seriously injured.

Kaze had to wonder if the Glitters played a part in it.

If that was the case, things were not looking good.

With that in mind, Kaze thought he should pay a visit to the hospital.

Leigh's attack on Will and the others was somewhat related to Kaze.

Not too long later, he arrived at Victoria International Hospital near Landor residential area.

The medical center looked rather grand, taking after the classic Paladian-style structure.

The building would stand out to those unfamiliar with Paladian culture.

A giant poster was on the hospital's wall, featuring a full-length portrait of the spokesperson.

Kaze had an idea about what to expect from Victoria International Hospital.

The supposed international hospital was one of the medical centers acquired by Lee Investment to break into Lilyrose's market.

Without much thought, Kaze stepped into the hospital and arrived at the emergency room.

Will's family members and the others arrived before Kaze and gathered around the nurses' station.

"My husband has been here for almost one hour, but he hasn't received any treatment. What's your policy on waiting times?"

"My son is covered in injuries. His injuries might get worse if he doesn't get timely treatment. Are you going to take responsibility when that happens?" 

With emotions running high, the family members criticized the two nurses at the station.

It was understandable.

Will and his team needed immediate attention for their wounds.

The paperwork was done, and the bill was paid for in advance.

Yet, they were not attended to even though they were rushed to the emergency room an hour ago. The two nurses at the station were just fiddling with their phones.

The family members urged and pressed the nurses to do something, but the nurses stressed that the doctors were on their lunch break.

Anybody would be furious in the same situation.

One of the nurses grew annoyed.

Rolling her eyes, the nurse said without looking up, "it's pointless for you to shout at me. Didn't I tell you that the doctors are on their lunch break? What's wrong with waiting a little?"

She then went back to her phone.

One family member said frustratedly, "We are fine with waiting, but this is the emergency room which is designed for emergencies.

"Besides, our family members are injured, but as nurses, you should patch them up or stop. the bleeding at the very least."

"Sony, I can't do that."

"What if something goes wrong? Are you going to take accountability?"

The nurse was rather convincing, putting the family members in a tough spot.

Kaze suddenly approached and slammed the counter.

The loud noise scared the nurses, and one of them dropped her phone on the ground.

Jesus Christ. Why did you slam the counter? Are you crazy?"

The nurse, who spoke earlier, retrieved her phone from the ground before jolting to her feet and screaming at Kaze.

Kaze stared her down and said solemnly, "Since you can't do anything, just send someone competent."
