Samara was stunned for a moment, but she quickly reacted.

She put her phone back into her bag and walked to Roland with a smile. “Roland!”

Although Samara was smiling, there was a coldness in her eyes. Her voice was a bit hoarse.

As soon as Roland heard Samara’s voice, he knew that something was wrong. He also stopped smiling. Smelling the strong smell of alcohol on Samara’s body, Roland asked, “Have you drunk?”

Roland thought, it isn’t the smell of red wine, so it shouldn’t be a social engagement.

Samara nodded and did not deny it.

However, Samara did not want to talk about it. She only asked, “Roland, you have liked me for eleven years. Why do you still like me now?”

Samara looked at Roland, her expression clearly different from before.

Roland said, “Does it need a reason?”

“So why do you still like me?”

Samara had liked Chaim for eleven years, but she had already decided not to like him anymore.

Samara thought, Chaim is despicable. Just as I was about to give up, he suddenly ran over and told me that he liked me.

What a despicable and shameless guy.

Roland said, “I don’t want to give up.”

Roland looked down at her. Seeing Roland’s charming eyes, Samara remembered what Roland said yesterday.

“Look at my eyes!

“Is it not clear who the person in my heart is?”

Samara was stunned for a moment and was a little absent–minded. “Am I that good?”

Samara felt that she was not that good.

“Yes.”

Roland replied. In the next second, Roland saw Samara sway.

Roland hurriedly reached out to support Samara. Samara was drunk. Chaim’s words tonight were intertwined with what Roland said that night. Samara remembered that before she fainted eleven years ago, Samara saw the side of the young man’s white t–shirt being puffed up by the wind.

Samara suddenly thought, if the person who saved me that day were not Chaim, maybe I would not have noticed him again and again and would not have fallen in love with him.

However, it could not be changed. In those three years, when Samara wanted to give up several times, she would always think of that day.

Samara always believed that Chaim was a gentle person.

In the end, Samara chose to divorce without waiting for Chaim’s gentleness. After they had been divorced for more than a year, Chaim suddenly told Samara that he also liked her.

Samara thought, what a big joke!

Samara had a headache and raised her hand to rub her temples.

“Drunk?” Roland asked.

Samara glanced at Roland and nodded. She said, “Gisselle confused the fruit wine with Utopia. I drank two glasses of Utopia.‘

“Give me your hand.”

Roland helped Samara to the door. Samara looked at the hand in front of him and hesitated.

But before Samara could make up her mind, Roland had already pulled her hand and pressed her finger to the door handle.

The door opened a crack with a beep sound. Roland pushed the door open and helped Samara in.

Roland said, “Sit for a while.”

Samara was helped to the sofa. She tilted her head and looked at Roland, who was walking toward the kitchen. Samara suddenly remembered that it was Roland who made ginger tea for her when she had severe menstrual pain not long ago.

While she was in her thoughts, Roland had already come out with a glass of milk. “Drink some. When you get up the next day, your stomach won’t feel so bad.”

Samara reached out to take it. Roland did not let go. Her hand directly covered the back of Samara’s hand.

Roland’s hand was hotter than Samara’s.

Samara quickly retracted her hand and said, “I’m sorry.”

Roland only smiled, “Don’t move. The alcohol is very strong. Your head will hurt.”

As Roland spoke, he placed the glass in front of Samara and coaxed her softly, “Samara, drink some milk.”
