“One Media Incorporated proudly presents to you our newest magazine, STELLAR.”

I was overwhelmed with the response that I am receiving from the crowd when I reveal to them our magazine cover.

Stellar is our newly launched magazine created by yours truly. I was inspired by all my experiences with my guests for the past six months. I was able to explore more about the industry. I collaborate with many celebrities and brands. I also experienced doing photoshoots and runways.

After I feature my mom on my vlog, it became a hot topic not just in America but all over the world. My mom indeed is a legend in this industry. I experience her popularity on hand. Many brands and media contacted me for sponsorship(brands) and interviews(media). That is where I came with an idea to produce my own brand of the magazine.

I call my dad to pitch the idea to him.

“How are you, sweetie?” My dad answered my video call.

“I’m doing great dad. How are you guys there?” I asked.

“We’re good but we miss you so much.” My dad said in a sweet voice.

My dad’s word touches my heart. I also miss them so much. “I miss you too dad. I miss you all.”

“When are you coming back?” My dad asked.

“I don’t know yet dad. I miss you guys so much but I honestly enjoy my stay here. I enjoy the things that I am doing now.” I honestly told my dad.

“Is that your real reason? Or it’s still because of Andrew?” My dad asked in a serious voice.

I swallow hard. I averted my gaze from the monitor. “I don’t know dad. I haven’t thought of him for the past months. I was busy and into my career here. I have no time to think of him, which is for me a good thing.”Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“But it sounded more like you find an escape from Andrew. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing though.”

“Can we just stop talking about him? I have something to tell you tonight.”

I don’t want to lose the excitement that I am feeling right now. Andrew is not good for my mood.

My dad sighed aloud. He looks defeated. “Fine, sweetie. What is it that you want to tell me?”

“I want to produce my own magazine dad. I have been receiving overflowing offers from different brands. I think I should take advantage of it by producing my own magazine.”

I explained to him in more detail my plan. He like my idea and he wants me to push through with it. He scheduled a meeting with me and the planning team through zoom. I prepared a presentation for them. They give their honest insight into my presentation. They give feedback and suggestions. And after that, my dad assigned a team for me for this project.

It took us two months to polish the plan. I have my own team here in America and in the Philippines. We have an existing office here in the US since we also have business here.

We were discussing the celebrity that we want to feature on the cover of our magazine’s first release when I got a call from Charles.

I excuse myself with my team to answer his call.

“Hey, Charles! What’s with the sudden call?”

Charles and I never lose communication. He knew all the things that happened to me. He was so proud of me for all my achievements. We were planning to collaborate but we can’t find a perfect time to do it.

“I have good news for you!” Charles said with full excitement.

I waited for him to reveal the good news.

“We will be having a US tour and we’ll fly to the US next week!”

My eyes widen. It was indeed good news. “You are heaven-sent to me Charles!” I can’t help but utter.

“Huh? What do you mean?” Charles asked sounded a bit confused.

“I told you about Stellar magazine, right? We are now looking for a celebrity to feature on the cover of our magazine’s first release.”

I explained to him more about our plan and target date. The dates of their US tour and our magazine target launch are so perfect.

Charles gave me the person that I need to contact to close the deal with Asya(Charle’s kpop group).

After we close the deal with Asya, my team proceed with the execution of our plan. We received many advertising placements from brands, mostly from luxury brands.

We decided to do a back-to-back cover of Asya and Noah Elordi. I told the team that Noah should be on the cover no matter what happens. Stellar exist because of Noah. He was God’s instrument for me to create Stellar vlog and magazine.

Luckily, Asya’s photoshoot schedule is the same as Noah’s. I was able to introduce my best friend Charles to my new friend Noah. I’m glad that these two are getting along well.

I was a bit worried that Charles might also treat Noah coldly just like Lance. But I just worried for nothing.

Stellar’s magazine launch was a big success. I owe it all to the people who supported me. The first cover of Stellar magazine was sold out on the first day of release. We had no choice but to reproduce a copy since many are still asking for copies. We did not just double the sales but we tripled it from our original forecast or sales target.

Our sales continue to grow each month. I was so happy with all my life here in the US until I received news from Lance.

My dad had a heart attack. I wanted to go back to the Philippines as soon as I hear the news but I got many commitments here in the US. I cried that day because I can’t be with my father.

When Lance update me that my dad is stable now, I still decided to go back to the Philippines. I stayed here in the US for so long. It’s about time for me to spend time with my family. My dad’s heart attack is a wake-up call for me. I shouldn’t take my time with my parents for granted.

“Let’s see! Thank you all for your support! I need to end my live now. I need to get ready for my flight tomorrow. Thank you, everyone! And see you soon!!! Bye!”

After I click the end button, I slumped onto the sofa. My head feels heavy after my Instagram live.

It was easy to give an excuse why I haven’t done any collaboration with Andrew but I know that once I came back to the Philippines it will be hard for me to avoid collaboration with him. I just wish that Anne will be able to realize that a collaboration between me and Andrew is not a good idea.

I was busy with my own thoughts when I heard my doorbell rang. I open the door and saw Noah carrying pizza and soda.

I open my door widely for him to enter. Noah went straight to the living room and place the pizza and soda on the table. He looks at me with his sad eyes.

“I want to stop you from leaving me but I know that your family needs you.”

Tears welled up from my eyes. I will surely miss this guy. He was like a family to me. I went to him to hug him tight.

“I will miss you, Noah,” I whispered to him. My tears fell. I fail to control my tears.

Noah broke from my hug and held my face. “Why are you crying? You know I hate seeing you cry, my star.”

His word made it worst. Now my tears fall like there is no tomorrow.

“Hush now, my star. We will surely still be seeing each other. I can go to the Philippines whenever I miss you. You can also do the same. And going here is not impossible since Stellar magazine is doing well here.” Noah said to calm me down.

I nodded at him. I know that he was right about it but I can’t help but feel sad knowing I won’t be seeing him often. He was my confidant, especially when it involves my feelings for Andrew.

“Take care of yourself there okay? Just remember that even if I’m here, you know that I am always just a call away.” Noah said to comfort me.

I nodded and hug him tight. I already miss him.
