I started to walk my feet into a company that was soaring high and clawing at the sky. Today I was escorted by one of the drivers who had been sent by Joan to pick me up at his company.

I really feel uncomfortable when many pairs of eyes are looking at me .

” Eh , that ‘s Liza , Mr. Joan ‘s wife . ” Whispered one of the staff who was gathering with a bunch of other staff .

” It ‘s really beautiful , ” added another staff .

” I never thought , it turns out that Liza is much prettier than on television , her face is already like Barbie , ” added one of the male staff while shaking his head in disbelief .

” I swear he ‘s so beautiful , Joan ‘s just that he got her pregnant out of wedlock ” said one of the female staff innocently , the woman laughed as if she was mocking me .

I was really furious to hear the gossip from my husband ‘s employees , with annoyance I stepped back away from them . I quickly took the elevator to the 30th floor , the highest floor which is a room reserved for the CEO only .

In the elevator I met a woman who looked very attractive and looked good, I could predict just by the friendly look she gave me.

” Which floor are you going to ? ” I asked before pressing the elevator button .

The woman did not answer, just gave me a smile. Immediately she stretched out her hand towards me.

” I ‘m Aileen Bu , Joan ‘s assistant , ” he said with a wide smile .

I quickly returned his hand. ” Oh Sis Aileen , I often hear about my husband ‘s brother ” I answered awkwardly .

“Mom is so beautiful” he complimented while holding my arm.

” Sis Aileen is also beautiful , ” I replied , I quickly pressed the 30 button , so I could quickly get to Joan ‘s room .

” Sis Aileen how long have you worked with Sis Joan ? ” I asked breaking the silence .

“It’s been almost 10 years ma’am” he said without removing the slightest smile on his sweet lips.

“It’s been a long time, Sis Aileen, I’m sorry, if you can don’t call me mom, just call Liza” I asked very politely.

” But it ‘s not good if I call her Liza , later Pak Joan will be angry again ” He said uncomfortably .

I immediately grabbed Aileen’s shoulder to reassure her.

“I won’t, Sis Joan is an obedient person, she won’t be angry, bro”

I immediately stepped out of the elevator after the elevator had stopped at its destination, namely the 30th floor, followed by Aileen’s sister who followed me behind.

“Let me show you the way Li”

I nodded following Aileen’s words, the woman with a height of about 160 cm immediately stood in front of me leading the way. I really don’t know for sure where Joan’s room is, because this is the first time I’ve visited her company.

Sis Aileen immediately knocked on the door of the room which I was able to confirm that it was my husband’s room.

“You’ve come dear” Joan said as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

“Yeah sorry I came a bit late” I said with a flat expression.

“Uh, there’s a newlywed,” teased the man who was standing beside the table, checking the files.

The man I called Sis Dafa started to approach our position which was near the sofa, while Sis Aileen had already left the room and headed for the assistant’s special room which was next to this room, after making sure I met Joan.

” It ‘s already expired , Daf ” Joan glared at the behavior of sister Dafa , who was flirting with me with her crocodile smile .

It was natural for Joan to be upset when she saw Dafa’s sister looking at me like that, because Dafa’s sister had openly stated that she liked me in front of Joan on the night of a live wedding party.

” How about Li , Boss Joan is not the same as you , how many rounds did he ask for a month to marry you ? ” Sister Dafa looked at us alternately with her intense gaze.

Joan immediately followed Kak Dafa’s head angrily “Don’t ask me what makes my brain travel, Daf, my wife is still innocent”

Sis Dafa just laughed after making her boss and best friend so upset with her .

” Come on ah dear , over time here it can burn your brain . ” Joan quickly took my hand and left the room leaving sis Dafa alone .

The two of us walked down the halls of the room, Joan took me to a different elevator from the elevator I had taken with Aileen.

” This is my private elevator , I forgot to tell you to just take this elevator earlier ” He said guiltily .

“It’s okay, there was only Aileen in the elevator, how come”

” Thank goodness I thought you were going to hang out with a bunch of other employees ” Joan flashed her sweetest smile .

” No really , I saw the employees on the 1st floor , maybe they want to go to the canteen ” I thought , maybe they were just gathering to eat lunch in the canteen , because the clock showed lunch break time .

” Yes you are right dear , at this hour almost all of the employees go down to the first floor ” Joan smiled proudly as she ruffled my beautifully loose hair .

“Today you are very beautiful dear” Joan praised after watching my appearance from top to bottom.

“It’s just okay” I said, it’s true that today I don’t look too flashy, I only wear a knee-length black dress whose model looks simple and not too crowded.

Joan again took my hand out of the elevator after the elevator came to a complete stop on the first floor .

We walked side by side like a normal couple , Joan ‘s height reached 182 cm while I was 172 cm , of course it made us very compatible if we walked together .

I hid my face behind my husband ‘s broad shoulders , I really did not want to be the center of their attention anymore .

“What’s wrong dear, are you uncomfortable with what they say?” Joan asked when she started to hear whispers from her employees who were talking about Liza being pregnant out of wedlock.

I just nodded in agreement , I did not change my position at all , I kept my face hidden on the shoulder that felt very comfortable .

“Don’t listen to them, they really like to talk bluntly. Don’t worry, tomorrow I will teach them a lesson” Joan threatened with her devilish gaze, I just didn’t want to stop the action, yet I also felt hurt when they talked about me being pregnant out of wedlock.

Joan took off her coat when we arrived in front of the lobby, she covered my head with her coat so I wouldn’t get hot.

“No need By , I’m used to getting hot in the sun anyway ” I refused trying to lower the coat that protected my head from the sun that afternoon.

However , because Joan ‘s strength was stronger than mine , the suit was still on top of me being held by the owner .

” Just obey , the weather is very hot , you will immediately have a fever , dear ” he said firmly in his position .

I can only obey his words, I immediately got into the car that was parked in front of the lobby. After Joan made sure I was seated safely in the passenger seat, the man swiftly circled the direction to the driver’s seat. Today we did go without a driver, yes the goal Let’s both have privacy.

Seeing that I was having trouble putting on a seatbelt, the man first helped me put on what is better known as the seatbelt. After finishing with my business, the man quickly did the same thing to maintain safety while driving.

He quickly stepped on the gas and left the company . His hands skillfully played the steering wheel while his feet were still faithful to the gas and brake pedals . During the trip we did not talk a word , I looked away at the car window , to be exact looking at the streets that were already filled with vehicles passing by in the city .

10 minutes later the car was parked neatly in a fancy restaurant which was quite far from Joan’s company.

Joan again took my hand with her left hand, while her right hand was still faithfully holding the coat she had removed earlier.

“We have prepared your room, sir, please follow me,” said one of the waiters who had just approached us.

” Okay ” Joan replied flatly , we also followed the steps of the woman who looked very neat .

We also stopped in one of the VIP rooms, there were already various kinds of dishes available at the table. Coupled with the music that also added to the romantic impression in the room that was reserved for the couple.

” I say goodbye first , just call if you need anything ” The waiter bowed his head , as soon as he walked away .

Joan immediately closed the door of the room so that no one could interfere with her togetherness with me.

I approached Joan who was still near the door, I brought my body closer to her, leaving some distance between us.

” You want to do it here ? ” He asked with a nosy look , it was certain that he thought that I would do what a husband and wife usually do .

I looked at him sarcastically , my hands quickly loosened his tie so he could eat without the slightest disturbance .

” You are very confident , eat quickly ” I said as I sat down in a chair followed by him who started sitting across from me .

This time Joan took her own food, I really don’t know what kind of food she likes because there are so many menus on the table.

“Eat a lot dear, don’t go on a diet too much, it’s a pity that if our baby is taken on a diet it won’t grow again” He said with a small chuckle, the man began to put the food he chose into his mouth.

“Yeah just calm down” I replied flatly after swallowing the food that had been chewed perfectly.

Joan brought her face closer to mine, as soon as she tucked a strand of hair that interfered with my meal. At first glance the man kissed my forehead with wisdom.

“Thank you for taking care of the child.”

I looked at the man with a gaze that no one could interpret , I myself do not even know what feelings arise in my heart now .

” You ate a lot , did you not have breakfast this morning ” I ordered trying to divert the conversation .

The two of us started to get late with our respective activities , this lunch together is a very rare moment for us to do .

Every now and then I look at him, the man looks very handsome, I immediately thanked him in my heart for getting a man as good as him.
