I really wonder why my husband’s attitude is so different tonight, he is more cold, even though this afternoon he was still fine when he called me at the mall.

I approached my husband who was fiddling with his laptop that was on the desk .

” You mad huh ? ” I hugged him from behind .

” No ” Joan answered flatly , she did not even look back to look at me , her gaze was still focused on looking for a file in windows .

” Are you angry because I bought clothes for our baby ? ” I raised my voice a little .

Joan stopped her activities and then turned to me ” I ‘m looking for an important file , DO NOT DISTURB ME ! ” he said emphasizing the word at the end of the sentence .

The man refocused with his world of work , I just looked at him from behind , tears just flowed down my cheeks .

How could I love him, even he loves his job more than myself and his own flesh and blood. During this month my husband is always busy with his work, leaving me from morning until late at night. Never once did he take special time for me, on holidays he prefers to gather with his family to play golf , have breakfast together and talk about other important things that do not escape the company and the business they run .

I am really tired of this life , abundant money can not replace his position as my husband who should always be there to accompany his wife in any case . the attitude of Joan and her family, eleven and twelve with my parents, made money the most important of all.

Ah , I really really miss Dilan and his warm and loving family . If I could turn back time , I would choose to marry Dilan as soon as possible even though he is not ready because of his illness .

Back when I came to Dilan’s house for the first time, we agreed that we would get married after Dilan’s illness was completely healed, approximately 1 year according to the procedure set by Professor Jason, a doctor who is very skilled in curing such diseases.

I tried to hold back the great vibrations in my body, my chest felt tight holding back tears without a sound. It’s been 10 minutes I stood frozen behind him, but he didn’t care about me at all.

“Dad” I called softly.

“Yes” he answered without looking at me.

” If this child is born , we just divorced ” I said which instantly made the man startled as he turned his body towards me .

” What are you talking about ? ” he asked with a sharp look . His jaw hardened , he clenched his fists like someone who was holding back his emotions .

Joan shook her head slowly ” No , I will never divorce you ” Joan held both of my arms , her cold demeanor suddenly turned into concern .

“Don’t be like this, you’re pregnant, don’t think like that, that kind of thing just stresses you out.” The man kissed my forehead several times.

I immediately pushed him away from my position ” DON’T HAVE TO BE ATTENTION ” I snapped which made him instantly furious .

He smiled sarcastically as he looked away ” Oh so you want Dilan to pay attention to that ? ” He asked which sounded like a joke .

” CRAZY YOU ” I was so annoyed, I immediately threw a file that was on the table onto his shoulder width of about 50 cm.

“How was it, the meeting went smoothly, didn’t you? Are you happy to see him again after a month of not seeing him?”

Plaque….

I slapped Joan’s cheek until it left a red mark. The man didn’t care about my rude attitude to him, he just looked at me intimidating.

“How long have you been like this huh? I saved the life of that jerk because I wanted to see you happy, living without guilt. But what’s the proof huh, you actually cheated on him behind my back”

Really, I don’t understand how the man found out about my meeting with Dilan this afternoon. Did Ella and Tia tell him, but it seems impossible, they don’t even know whose apartment I went to.

” Why shut up , do you wonder why I can know this huh ? ” the man snapped as he continued to bring his handsome face closer to mine .

The man kissed my forehead, his attitude was really strange. His expression was still sharp, but it seemed he was still trying to contain his emotions.

Instead of scolding me , Joan gave a different kind of attention than usual .

The man started to hold my hand ” Auntie must have finished preparing dinner , let’s eat now , let ‘s eat now , honey ” The man immediately pulled my body into the dining room without waiting for my approval .

I just kept quiet and didn’t say a word, because I was sure that Joan would do something like this to stop the two of us fighting.

I started to sit in one of the chairs next to my husband , as usual we only ate alone because the household members and the guards ate separately in a special dining room for them .

I started to fill rice into my husband’s plate, I still served him even though we were fighting, somehow I had to keep doing my duty as a wife.

“Don’t eat too much rice, honey”

” A little more ” I added a little more rice to his plate .

” Too much baby ” Joan protested when the rice plate was in front of her eyes .

” To be strong , you work continuously every day , you need a lot of calorie intake ” I said .

” Well , ” Joan answered resignedly , my husband started to take his own side dishes according to his current taste .

The two of us started to eat dinner which was a bit awkward, because my husband was still not moving.

” Sis Sarah has got a replacement for the Brand Ambassador for the launch of her new plane ? ” I asked trying to lighten the mood .

“Not yet” he said after swallowing the food that had been chewed finely in his mouth.

” Poor sister Sarah , it must be hard to find a replacement ” I said full of guilt , I stopped my eating activities because my appetite just disappeared .

“Don’t worry, you’ll get a replacement later.”

” What if I still be his BA dear ? ” I asked trying to persuade .

“No, you’re pregnant, honey, it’s better if you stay at home and take care of your health. Don’t worry about anything else dear, your health condition hasn’t fully recovered yet, plus your gestational age is still very vulnerable if you do tiring activities.” sullenly disapproved of his decision.
