Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 401

Aisha frowned. Was her work really that bad? She didn't think so. And why did everyone look so weird?

She glanced down at her computer screen and froze. This wasn't her program. It was way better than anything she'd ever done.

All eyes were glued to the program, so no one noticed her shock. Despite her racing thoughts, she finished her presentation with a calm facade.

"Fantastic! Brilliant!" Clay, his hair a snowy white, stood up, beaming with pride. He was on the verge of tears. He'd been with Gale Corporation since Aisha's dad founded it. Aisha's father was a genius, and Clay had been more than happy to assist him. Now, with the company in shambles, he wanted to leave but couldn't bear to watch Gregory and his gang destroy it. So, he stayed, waiting for Aisha to step in and save the day.

Aisha's talent outshone her father's, giving Gale Corporation a glimmer of hope. Clay wasn't the only one moved to tears; several old-timers looked at Aisha with a mix of pride and relief.

Aisha's work made Gregory's look amateurish. The gap in their abilities was glaring, and even Gregory's supporters were at a loss for words. Gregory glared at Aisha, his face dark with anger. He had underestimated her. Just like her father... Annoying!

After the meeting, Aisha was surrounded by the old guard of Gale Corporation, but her mind was elsewhere. Someone had tampered with her program and proposal. Only two people had access to her computer: Ray, who couldn't code to save his life, and Flora.

"Flora, thank you," Aisha said, her voice catching. Without Flora's secret assistance, she couldn't imagine the mess she'd be in.

"Don't mention it," Flora replied lazily, sipping her coffee. "Do you have time this afternoon?"

"Yeah, why?"

"I'll teach you myself. You need to learn this stuff."

"Great! I'm available anytime!" Aisha felt a surge of gratitude but kept it brief. She was determined to learn and someday repay Flora. Flora's skills were miles ahead of those so-called computer geniuses. Just then, a message from their counselor, Samson, popped up.

Samson: Flora, are you on campus?

"Hold on, let me reply to this," Flora said to Aisha, ending their video call.

"What's up?" she texted back.

Samson called immediately. Flora answered, and his voice came through, both excited and urgent.RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

"Flora, are you on campus?"

"No, why?"

"Well, famous choreographer Bowie saw your dance from the welcome party. He loved it and wants to buy the rights for fifty million. He's at the university now. Can you come back?"

Samson could barely contain his excitement. Fifty million! Flora could earn more from a single dance than most people made in a lifetime!
