Flash Marriage Makes A Perfect Match

Chapter 49: All you have to do is sign it

Allyce lost her appetite after half a bowl of porridge.

He went into the bathroom and took a hot shower. After that, he felt better.

He changed his clothes, went to the hospital for an injection and medication, and then went home.

On the way back, he received a call from the company about the results of his interview yesterday.

“Hello, is this Miss Allyce? Congratulations, you have been hired by our company …”.

At these words, Allyce smiled: “Thank you. I’ll report to work next Monday as planned”.

Allyce returned home in good spirits, only to find an unexpected visitor at her door.

It was Senona, whom I had arranged for her yesterday.

“Don’t stand in the doorway. I’m sorry, I wanted to open the door. allyce was wearing a grey tracksuit and had her hands in her coat pockets.

“Wait. Listen to me.” Seeing his pale face, Senona turned away with a look of disgust.

“Have you made up your mind about what I told you yesterday? Go back to work for our company and then grandfather will give you shares”.

Senona was uncomfortable with the transfer of these shares to Allyce. But it was her grandfather’s order. She tried to discredit Allyce to Casimiro, who, however, did not change his mind and ordered her to convince Allyce.

“I understand.” Allyce replied coolly and opened the door.

Senona quickly put her hand on the door frame to stop him from closing it.Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

A hint of impatience appeared on Allyce’s face. She pulled out her mobile phone and called the security booth: “A strange woman is still at my door and refuses to leave, please come and take her away.

When she finished, she did not close the door, but stood still and stared at Senona.

Senona had always known that Allyce had a bad temper, but she hadn’t expected her to be so rude to her.

He bit his lower lip and held back his anger: “Grandfather said there was no overtime. He’ll transfer his shares to you as soon as you’re ready to return to the Delahoz Group. He has the contract ready, all you have to do is sign it!”

At that moment, footsteps echoed in the corridor.

Security personnel arrived.

Senona’s expression changed. Then she threw the bag of papers down the gap under the door.

She didn’t want security to throw her out. It was too embarrassing.

Allyce looked at the bag of papers on the floor, but did not pick it up. She just watched as Senona bumped into the security guards.

One of the security guards looked at Senona and then shifted his gaze to Allyce: “Miss Allyce …” .

“This is the strange woman I mentioned earlier. I thought she was mentally ill because she was blocking my door and refusing to come out. I didn’t think she was an insurance saleswoman”. He said as he opened the door and took the bag of papers.

The guards looked at each other in confusion.

Senona was so angry that her face turned red. There seemed no need to feign innocence in front of the two security guards. It was degrading.

She turned and looked at Allyce, then hurried down the stairs. The sound of her high heels echoed down the hall.

“Thank you very much.” Allyce smiled and nodded to the security officer.

The two security guards felt embarrassed at the prospect of being thanked by a beautiful woman. They smiled and said something like “you’re welcome” and left.

Once inside, Allyce opened the file bag, took out the contract and studied it carefully. Then she found several loopholes.

Fortunately, he had chosen law as a second career while studying abroad. Otherwise, he would have been set up this time.

Although she had no idea what Casimiro was up to, the most important thing for her was to get back the shares her father had left her.

It didn’t matter what he was doing; she just had to deal with the situation as it required.

After much thought, Allyce finally decided to take the risk.

He went to a lawyer’s office and asked him to draw up a contract without loopholes, and then went to see Casimiro at the Delahoz group.

He had not been to the Delahoz Group for some time. When Allyce returned to the company he was surprised.

However, on entering, she was stopped by a receptionist: “Excuse me, ma’am, who are you looking for?

Allyce turned her head to look at the receptionist. She was not a newcomer: she had been Allyce’s colleague when Allyce had worked at the company. She seemed to be deliberately holding her back and embarrassing her.

“I’m here to see my grandfather.” Allyce shook her long hair. Although her movements were casual, she looked quite elegant as she did so.

Before arriving at the office, she had deliberately applied make-up, which added to the charm of her prominent features. Although she stared, the receptionist who had just tried to embarrass her felt unconsciously a little self-conscious.

“This is the Delahoz Group. I don’t know what ‘grandfather’ you are looking for.” The receptionist seemed to be under Senona’s influence and did her best to embarrass Allyce.

Allyce looked at her coldly before pulling out her phone and making a call.

Given that Casimiro had ordered Senona to persuade her to return to the office, he must have had a reason. If so, why not take advantage of it?

The call was answered quickly, just as she expected.

“Oh my Allyce, it’s been a long time since you’ve been home…” Casimir began his usual compliments as soon as he answered the phone.

Allyce seemed to forget their argument and said softly, “Grandpa, it’s not that I don’t want to come back. I’m downstairs in the office now, but the receptionist won’t let me come upstairs ….”

“How dare you? Wait, I’m going!

Allyce didn’t expect Casimir to say that. However, since he wanted to come, she wasn’t going to stop him.

So she hung up the phone. The receptionist, however, continued to stare at Allyce in disbelief.

Allyce gives him a fake smile and asks, “Why are you looking at me like that? Because you won’t let me go upstairs and I’m calling someone to pick me up.

The receptionist didn’t believe her and thought that Allyce was saying it on purpose to save face. Therefore, she did not take her seriously.

“Madam, if you want to see our president about something urgent, I can call the secretary and ask for you.

From the receptionist’s point of view, she had shown great compassion.

Everyone in Cloud City knew that the second daughter of the Delahoz family was not favoured in the house because she liked to be with men and brought great dishonour to the family.

“Oh, thank you for your kindness. But there’s no need to bother.

Just as he finished, he took a few steps forward and sweetly greeted Casimiro, who was walking towards them: “Grandfather”.

Casimiro felt a little uncomfortable, but seeing that Allyce was behaving as if the discussion had never happened, he said softly, “Allyce, why don’t you go upstairs.

“The receptionist wouldn’t let me go upstairs. Allyce grabbed Casimiro’s arm and smiled: “An outsider witnessing this would probably think that Delahoz Group employees are very arrogant. He doesn’t even respect grandfather. How can such an employee still work for our company?”

Allyce raised her head to look at the receptionist, who was smiling open-mouthed.

Casimir quickly understood Allyce’s words, turned to her and asked: “How do you want to solve this problem?

Allyce smiled and said: “We should definitely fire her.
