her with her life and refused to consent to a cesarean section, insisting on a natural birth.

"Only her mother-in-law was by the pregnant woman's side, and her obstinacy prevented us from

seizing the best opportunity for resuscitation. By the time the husband arrived, the fetus inside had

already stopped breathing. Both twins were gone, which was a great loss. The pregnant woman also

Norah listened, tears streaming down her face uncontrollably.

When she first worked in the hospital, she had heard her colleagues discussing this incident, but no

She didn't expect it to be Professor Greer's daughter.

"Dr. Hughes, during emergencies, don't we usually avoid treating our closest ones? Why didn't they

assign someone else to save Dr. Greer?"

Professor Greer is the most skilled and experienced doctor in our department. He had the highest

chance of saving Dr. Greer, which is why he took over the surgery himself."

Susie patted Norah's hand and said in a serious tone.

"Norah, if you can get Professor Greer to perform this surgery, we would all be very excited. This will

When she went out, she saw an unfamiliar face and thought that he might have found the wrong

person.

"Hello, are you Miss Dora Green?"

Dora was surprised that the man knew her name. "Do you know me? But it doesn't seem like I know

you."

"Miss Green, I'm sorry for disturbing you. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Anthony, and

Norah's boyfriend asked me to find you. They had an argument, and Norah seemed to be in a bad

mood today. Can you tell me what happened?"

Seeing how caring Norah's boyfriend was, Dora felt no need to be guarded and told him everything

truthfully.

A few minutes later, Norah received a phone call from Shawn.

She looked at the phone, hesitating for a long time.
