Fatal Kiss Of The Vampire

Chapter 93: I’m Married

Suddenly, a black SUV with black tinted windows pulled up in front of her. A man stepped out from the driver’s seat wearing a black suit and sunglasses.

“Faith Cruz? Please come with me.” Elliot said to her expressionlessly. Seeing his attitude so cold and firm, Faith immediately became alert.

“Stay back! I’ve learned karate, if you get closer, I’ll kill you!”

Elliot’s face was still cold. “If you’re Faith Cruz, maybe I can kill you first.” His tone was flat.

“You… Kylie sent you?”

“…” Elliot certainly would not give her an answer. He simply turned and headed towards the vehicle. Though she did not at all want to get inside an unknown car with a man she had never met before, she reasoned that only Kylie knew she was here, so the man was definitely taking her to see Kylie. So, quickly she walked over and hesitantly got inside the luxurious car.

When Faith saw that the man was driving her towards Toprak Mansion, Faith’s mouth dropped open with surprise. Only the rich and famous lived in this neighborhood, every single one of these mansions cost millions of dollars.

“Um, where are you taking me? Who is your boss?” Faith could no longer help but ask the reclusive driver.

Again, Elliot said nothing but looked straight ahead.

Faith’s excitement was dampened by Elliot’s lack of emotion, and again she started to feel the fear creeping back. She sat close to the door, watching intensely and memorizing the roads. She was afraid that if she was driven out, she would not even know the way to escape.

The car finally came to a halt at the gate of Toprak Mansion. Faith was asked to get out of the car. She stood at the marble stairs and saw Kylie standing by the front door of the huge mansion. She was wearing nightwear, a silky red robe, and had no makeup on. A medium-sized dog stood beside her and watched Faith alertly. Kylie’s beauty was so inadvertent, but, at the same time, hit people’s hearts, even Faith was bewitched by her.

“Kylie, are you… are you a mistress…what is going on here? Why…?” Faith grasped Kylie’s arms and whispered, “How can you sacrifice yourself just for revenge? Come! Let’s go, let’s get out of here…”

“Faith, wait,” Kylie replied, trying to stop Faith from tugging her down the stairs, “I’ve got something to tell you, but you have to stay calm.” Kylie gestured for Faith to follow her inside.

Faith did not know where to look: at the tastefully decorated mansion or at Kylie, who was leading her towards a sofa.

“Let me guess you signed some sort of intimacy contract with a rich old man, and now you can’t leave?”

“No…” Kylie chuckled at Faith.

“Oh, thank God!” Faith sighed in relief.

“I’m married.”

Faith stared at Kylie, dumbfounded before bursting into loud laughter, “You’re joking, right?”

“No, Faith, I’m not joking.”

“You’re crazy! Married? How can you get married!? What about your career? Are you kidding me?” Faith went off in a tirade and started pacing the living room floor.

Faith turned around ready to lay into Kylie, but another’s presence stopped her from speaking. Kylie guessed it was Ethan who had stopped Faith from speaking further, thank God she muttered to herself. She could not take any more of Faith’s screeching. Ethan had showered and donned on a pair of black jeans, a black muscle shirt which contrasted with his pale skin. He looked like a Greek God.

Ethan walked forward towards Kylie and slowly captured her lips in a deep kiss. He then whispered a few words to Kylie, smiled, and walked out. From Ethan’s appearance to his disappearance, Faith’s face had been in shock and amazement.

“Kylie… Am I hallucinating…”

“No, you’re not.” Kylie pulled Faith to sit down again and handed a cup of tea to her.

Faith took a deep sip, not even caring if the hot tea burned her tongue. “That’s…that’s your husband? Oh gosh! Kylie! He’s soooo handsome! Is he in show business? I’ve never seen him before.” Faith gushed like a teenage girl.

“He’s not in the show biz.”

“Then, who is he?”

“Have you heard of Lord Ethan?”

Faith swallowed her saliva with difficulty, then handed the empty cup back to Kylie. “I need one more to calm down, please.” Kylie managed to keep a straight face and stood up to pour another cup of tea.

“You mean, your husband is THE legendary Lord Ethan?” Thoroughly drinking the tea, Faith asked inconceivably, “No wonder after I posted out the article, it has been stuck on the top till now. And no one could take it down!”

“You’re…” Faith was too surprised and shocked to find the proper adjectives. But finally, a slow smile formed on her face. “Kylie, you sly bitch! Does Aiden know you’re married?”Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“Yes he knows, Lord Ethan is his uncle.”

“Ethan and I decided that we would take care of all this…shit…in half a year before we go public with our relationship as husband and wife.” Kylie leaned back on the sofa, stretching and smiling as if she was relaying the most straightforward piece of information to Faith.

Faith was still in shock, and it felt like she was unable to recover from the amazement of this whole ordeal. Apparently, Kylie had all this planned out…but how, and when?

“Kylie…” Faith started off hesitantly; however, before she could continue, Kylie cut her off.

“Ethan gives me everything I ever want, and he doesn’t demand anything from me in return. But I don’t want just to be a showpiece on his arm. I don’t want to be called only ‘Mrs. Parker.’ I want to try my best to shorten the distance between us. I want us to complement each other instead of relying entirely on him.”

Kylie then turned to Faith and smiled faintly, “Faith, if you still want to help me, let’s face the difficulties in the future together. If you’re not willing to take risks, I’ll also keep my promise. I’ll give you double the amount of money Lily owed you.”
