chef?” Ella asked, directing her

“Sure, I’ll tell Chef Franco. He’s brilliant at saving my kitchen from such disasters, Evan replied.

Soon, a middle–aged man dressed in white attire entered the kitchen and let out a dramatic sigh. “What have you done to my kitchen?” he exclaimed, his tone humorous.

Evan smiled a little, looking at the man. “I was just trying to add a little flair.”

“Culinary catastrophe! Chef Franco exclaimed, teasing Evan in a lighthearted manner, knowing that with Ella by his side, he would never lose his temper.

With a flick of his wrist, Chef Franco began transforming the kitchen into a culinary heaven. Ella watched as he started to cook a delicious feast for both of them.

After another 30 minutes, Ella and Evan were sitting around the dining table, enjoying their meal. Ella was deliciously eating a Mexican salad, along with an exquisite vegetable omelette and baked burritos. “Thank you so much for trying to cook for me, Evan. Even though you couldn’t quite succeed,” she said, smiling at him.

Evan chuckled. “My pleasure. But next time, maybe Chef Franco shall do the honors.”

Ella let out a deep sigh, savoring the taste of the delicious omelette. As they savored Chef Franco’s delicious dishes, the conversation turned to the past five years. “So, just curious, have you dated anyone after our breakup?” Evan asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Ella’s eyes turned guarded. “What sort of question is that? Why are you even wanting to know that?” Evan shrugged. “Just casually asking, you know, catching up with you. Not that it matters to me.” He chuckled a little, trying to lighten the mood.

Ella hesitated, her voice barely a whisper. “Yes, I had a boyfriend for 6 months. He was a model…. just… perfect.” She smiled a little.

Evan’s expression suddenly turned sarcastic. “Oh, how convenient. A model, just your type. Someone who only cares about his toned abs and gelled hair. A painted body with abs, how original.

Ella instantly stopped chewing her omelette, looking at Evan in surprise. “That’s not fair, Evan. You don’t even know him. We parted ways amicably, not like you and me. And stop judging me and being so socially shallow.”

Evan dropped his fork, his voice rising. “I don’t need to be jealous. I know your taste in men. You cheated with Stephen, and now this? You always wanted shallow, pretty boys in your life. So, stop acting like I’m not handsome enough. You want shallow people who only care about looks.”

The conversation had taken a turn, revealing underlying tensions and past hurts.

Ella also dropped her fork, her face turning red with humiliation. “How dare you! You have no right to judge mel

The argument escalated, their voices growing louder and nastier. The amazing spread created by Chef Franco was completely forgotten, half of their food left uneaten on their plates.

“You know what I want? Your extremely jealous mind five years back thought I was sleeping with Stephen, and you didn’t even give me a chance to speak up! Will you always do this? You always assume everything

Evan’s face twisted in anger. “I’m not the one who’s always ruining everything! You’re just self–absorbed in pretty boys. You’re too shallow!”

Ella slammed her fist on the table. What the fuck!” She instantly stood up and stormed off in the opposite direction, heading towards her room, leaving the dinner table in disarray. Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.

The evening had taken a disastrous turn, with the past conflicts and unresolved issues resurfacing. “As if I care,” Evan shouted, making sure Ella heard him. “We can never be amicable parents. I don’t even know how we’ll handle this child.

Tears rolled down Ella’s face, and she turned to look at him. “Yeah, me neither. It’s just fate that we’re parenting a child. Otherwise, I would never even live under the same roof with you.”

Evan sneered, wiping away his lips. “Oh, spare me the drama. You’re the one who cheated on me, got pregnant, and now you’re carrying my child.”

Ella’s face flushed with anger. “How dare you! You have no right to talk to me like this. It’s my child as well.

Evan snorted. “You mean the baby you were planning to abort?”

Ella’s face contorted in pain. “Shut up! You don’t know anything. Five years ago, you came to a conclusion about Stephen, and now you’re coming to conclusions about the baby. Stop being impulsive, Evan.”

The tension was palpable, and the future of their child hung in the balance.

“You should thank me that you don’t have to raise this child on your own, with no support or help. You would be on the streets. You would have come crawling back to me anyway,” Evan said, his finger pointed towards Ella.

Ella s

s eyes brimmed with tears as she shouted, “Get out! Get out of my life, Evan! I don’t need you, I don’t need your judgment or your criticism. I can raise this child on my own.”

She demanded, “Where’s the contract? I want to tear it off right now!”

Evan’s face twisted in anger as he stormed out of the room. Within seconds, he returned with the contract and handed it to her. “Read clause number 3. If you break the contract, you have to pay me $5,000,000 or face a legal suit against you.”

Ella threw the contract in his face and walked away, heading towards her room. She lay down on the bed, tears streaming down her face. Evan sat in the dining arra, looking blankly out the window beside him. The argument had ended, but the tension and hurt lingered, leaving a chasm between them that seemed insurmountable.
