Fall For Me

I quickly composed myself and followed Valerie

“You don’t know when you to give up” I yelled

I walked up close and immediately she turned I held her lips

“Hush up little rabbit,” I said with a low voice, I felt a sting on my hand and I figured she bit into my hand before she pushed me away

“Get away from me you despicable man” She warned but it only made me want to come closer, I could sense fear and anger in her voice but she didn’t have to be afraid of me, I would never hurt her

“Look around you, do you see anyone here?” I tried drawing her attention to the empty place we’d been standing in, Valerie had a puzzled look on her face. As I stared intently at her I saw her moving backward, It hurt me to see her so afraid of me. Why doesn’t she realize that I love her, nothing more? I can give her the world.

“Why am I here?” Valerie asked curiously

“Calm down I will never hurt you” I knew she was scared and I wouldn’t blame her but at least I had to try to reassure her in the best way I could.

“I won’t ask again, why am I here? What do you want from me?” Valerie had a dead stare on her face, If she was given the opportunity I am certain she would stab me and get away from me.

“This clinic belongs to me,” I spoke up, I hated the memories that came with this place but I had no other option than to bring her here

This hospital only brings terrible memories

“What are you doing with the clinic? Valerie asked again I was already tired of the questions, This wouldn’t help to feed her curiosity

“That should be my business,” I was already anticipating to leave.

She asked a few more questions about me being a trafficker and it made me laugh, If only she knew the purpose his hospital served

We got to where the car was parked and I ordered her to get in. She sat quietly and I turned to the driver’s seat

I knew she wouldn’t stop asking me questions

“You keep secrets from the person you love?” I heard a sweet voice say, I could hear her, complain, sing, laugh, and do whatever for a whole lifetime

“Only when it is necessary, now fasten your seat belt” I winked at her, We sat quietly for a while, till she broke the silence

“You scare me” I listened to the words leave her mouth and I was not surprised by her revelation, Although I would want it to change, It will take time

“We all need a good amount of fear in our lives,” I said with a straight face

“You want the person you love to fear you” Valerie asked, She is smart, which Makes me love her even more

“No, if you truly love me you won’t fear me,” I said while staring at her, I decided to play a trick on her as soon as I fixed my eyes on her while driving

“Eyes on the road please,” I could see that she was already clinging to the seat

“Why?, I don’t want to stop staring at you” I didn’t want to stop staring though, She was too angelic, Her scattered hair and eye bags complimented her even more, I accelerated and we hit a bump, I steered the wheel in different directions.

“Carson watch out!” Valerie yelled

Valerie closed her eyes, and I felt her grip on my arm, It felt good and she felt I could have protected her in some way,

“I told you a good amount of fear is good,” I said, smirking, The fear that was plastered on her face turned into annoyance,

“Are you trying to get me killed?” Valerie yelled while still holding my arm

“No, look” Her eyes slowly trailed down and she saw her hand wrapped around mine, With the realization she quickly released her grip from my hand.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

The guy ride became silent, I thought deeply about the place we had just left, and I’m glad I could have a good memory there and spend time with my little rabbit. When we reached and the workers were outside waiting for our arrival, I dropped her off at Janet’s hands, I didn’t want to fire Janet as I learned Valerie had grown quite comfortable with her, and I didn’t want a change that Valerie would not like and I’ve already given her the biggest transition. I met with Benson and we went inside immediately to talk about the matter at hand.

I was furious to know that Mr Longe knew about Valerie. They must be a snake amongst the workers, I will always protect Valerie, and Mr Longe will suffer greatly if anything happens to her.

“Speak, how did he come to know? And why do we care” I asked impatiently waiting for an answer, Mr Longe was just a puppet, And now why would a puppet think he can talk without its master? Perhaps our last encounter didn’t send a clear message to him.

“He has threatened to go public with the news of you abducting Valerie and holding her against her will” Benson narrated the text message, I collected the phone from his hand and read it carefully

“But what’s up with this old man and always going public?” I asked with humor,

“This could ruin your reputation” Benson didn’t want to joke around because it could be detrimental to my career

“We need to apprehend the snake, feeding him with all this information,” I said and that was at the top of my least, I always punish a traitor, A message popped in as we conversed about the matter

“There is more,” Benson reveals.

“Go on” I wanted to know what that old man sent.

“He said and I quote ‘Accept my request or else the girl pays’ that is all”.
