Ex-husband, Please Respect Yourself

Chapter 178: Do You Have to Make Everybody Know?

Chapter 178: Do You Have to Make Everybody Know?

And as she spoke, something came to her mind. She waved to Aaron and said, "put all the food here, and let's eat together. The food may not be enough, and we go to the canteen to get some more. I'm sure Mila and I won't be able to eat that much."

Aaron immediately shook his head, and he frowned, "no, you are really tired recently, and you need to take nutrition. We can go to the canteen to eat."

Only they understood the meaning of his words, but Cathy was not convinced. She said, "supplement nutrition is not by eating too much, and I can't eat all that much food alone. I will end up wasting food." She waved at the others again, and she urged, "hurry, all of you, get some food. I'm waiting for you. I'm starving."

A girl raised her eyebrows and quipped, "no, if Tyrone finds out, will we be punished?"

Cathy"......"

Speechlessly, she touched her own forehead. She felt embarrassed and helpless, "well...Shall I call him now and ask him?"

Had it not been for the presence of so many people, she would have called him and scolded him. Did he mean to make trouble for her?

"Hee hee... Yes!"

Everyone looked at her with a look of gossip.

As a result, a group of people ate up the two large packages of food in the department.

After dinner, they went into their lunch break.

Cathy arranged for Mila to sleep on the sofa in her office. She yawned and sat back in her chair. She called Tyrone.

"Hello." she said in a low voice, and looked across the window, though she could see nothing.

"Have you finished your dinner? Was the food to your taste?" the man's voice was warm and pleasant to hear.

Cathy raised her eyebrows and the corners of her mouth. She said, "Not enough."

Was it because her mother said she had a bad appetite, so he ordered food especially for her at lunch time?

She felt she was right and she sniffed at him, as he's really getting better at coaxing women.

Tyrone understood her instantly, and he chuckled, "ok, I order more food tomorrow. Otherwise, you go to the hotel at noon, and all your subordinates should want to see me."

The veins on Cathy's forehead throbbed.

She clenched her phone, and she gritted her teeth slightly, "Tyrone, do you have to make everybody know? Do you realize that you're causing me a lot of trouble?"

The man's tone remained the same, "I'm only concerned about your health right now. Also, you have time to take care of other people's child, but you don't have time to think about your own health? You're more than four months of pregnancy. You're not afraid of an accident, but I'm always worried about you. I don't want the slightest accident to happen."

Cathy opened her mouth, not knowing what to say. She felt heavy in her heart.

She always knew she was struggling with him, and she just didn't want to compromise easily.

She closed her eyes, she pressed her temples softly, and her voice softened a little, "I'll eat downstairs myself. You don't have to order for me anymore. You actually order from the Yunhan building. Are you afraid people won't know that you ordered the takeaway?"

Even Mr. Brown dared not eat at the Yunhan building every day.

She expected him to apologize or explain, but instead, he just said ok, and then he said simply, "I'll pay attention next time."

He wouldn't pay attention next time. Nothing he said now was true. She didn't believe him. She looked up, and she saw Mila sleeping. She rolled her eyes, and she said, "by the way, could you give me the contact information of your expert friend you said before, if it is convenient now?"

The man said blandly, "didn't I tell you? Tell him first, and let him come to me himself, if he will."

Cathy frowned, "does it make a difference?"

The man spoke in a flat tone, "you can choose not to tell him. I find you enjoy looking after her." Cathy"......"

Why did she think he's jealous?

She rolled her eyes and said coldly, "I hung up the phone."

"All right."

Cathy hung up and she called Matt without hesitation.

After a moment of persuasion, the man agreed. She didn't know what he talked about with Tyrone later, but the next morning he went to Lawson's family to pick up Mila.

In her apartment, Cathy looked reluctant as the child returned to her father. "I'm sorry, Matt, but I haven't seen any improvements these days."

She did not want the child to leave her, but she had to think of her. He was willing to try again, and she was naturally looking forward to it.

The man was probably going out, and he's dressed very formally. He was wearing a simple suit, he looked gentle and handsome and his smile was as warm as ever, "I'm the one who should apologize for all the trouble I've caused you these days. It doesn't happen overnight, and we can't be too impatient."

"Right." Cathy nodded. She looked at him and asked, "so you're going to go now?"

"Well, I've already made an appointment with the doctor." The man stooped to pick up the child. He smiled faintly, "However, the doctor is abroad now, so I want to ask for a few days off. I may not be able to contact you for the time being."

"The doctor is abroad? Cathy was surprised.

Was that friend of Tyrone abroad? He never mentioned it to her.

Matt nodded, he touched his daughter's head, and he smiled gently, "Anyway, I'm going to try it this time. Even if I don't trust the doctor, I'll do Tyrone a favor. I have to go there myself." Cathy's face changed slightly. She smiled brightly and squeezed Mila's soft face. She said in a low voice, "you don't have to care about him. You just have to focus on your child."

Matt's silent gaze fell on her palm-sized face, his eyes were a little dim, and he was a little distracted. There was a mixture of emotion in his eyes.

He was suddenly jealous of the man.

He clearly understood that his feelings for her were fundamentally different, from the initial affection for her, to the current passionate feelings for her. His feelings for her were already out of his control. But he was the only one whose feelings had changed, and her feelings had probably never changed.

But he didn't say anything. He just looked at her quietly.

Cathy was not sensitive, but she could still feel his sight. She's relaxed since the last confession, but she didn't know how he felt. She just felt this constant attention when she was with him. She felt heavy and guilty in her heart. She owed him a lot, so she wanted to do something for him. But apart from Mila, there was probably no problem he couldn't solve.

Tyrone just came in. He caught a glimpse of the scene through the open door and he found the scene rather an eyesore, as if he had been lightly stabbed in the heart. He said in a lukewarm way, "Matt, you don't have to catch a plane?"

Cathy was shocked, she took a step back, and she looked at him, "why are you here?"

Tyrone didn't look at her. He strode into the room with his long legs and he said in a low voice, "I have something else to say to Matt. You go to prepare your own things, and I'll take you to the company later."

Cathy was about to speak out against him instinctively, but she refrained from saying what she wanted to say. It's ok for them to quarrel when they're alone. It's not good to quarrel and embarrass themselves in front of others. Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.
