Chapter 5: Give Him Up  

It was almost dinner time, and Danica had volunteered to cook a few dishes since it would be the last time she would eat with them.She agreed to Terrence's request to accompany him for a meal.

However, she didn't expect Theo to go into the kitchen and block her way when she was about to go out.

Theo's eyes were enraged like fire when he looked at her.

She also noticed the chest part of his suit was stained with tea leaves as if someone had purposely splashed tea on him.

Theo drastically dragged her without saying anything.

Danica was too shocked to react but tried to free herself from his grip.

"What are you doing?" Danica asked as she kept on struggling to get loose.

However, Theo gripped her wrist tighter and gritted his teeth.

"You really had the guts to bring the divorce to grandpa, huh, Danica? How dare you do that? Don't you have any consideration? Do you have any idea how his health condition is right now?" Theo roared.

Danica tried to pull her wrist, but Theo was very strong, so she helplessly stopped protesting.

"I just thought that since we are going to divorce, we should inform him.If you think I'm just making a fuss, think whatever you want.I just did it because I respect your grandpa so much" she explained and tried to move again.

The maids immediately left as soon as Theo walked in, leaving them alone in the huge kitchen.

Theo looked at her stubborn and slightly annoying face.

She was so persistent in divorcing him as if she no longer wanted to be close to him.

It made Theo boil in anger.

He initially planned to drag Danica out, but Theo changed his mind when he saw how desperate she was to be free from his grip.

"What are you trying to do?" Danica asked with a mixture of anger and fear in her voice.

Theo let out a playful grin before saying, "I just wanted to pull you outside, but it seemed that you wanted me to do it here.Then, okay.Let's do it here as you wish."
