Chapter 39: Who Do You Think You Are 

After half an hour, Danica arrived at the Dalton family's company.

After all, Theo was the investor.

Sometimes, just how you respect God was how you should respect the investor as well.

Danica took the elevator and went to the second floor.

She was well acquainted with this place since she often brought lunch to Theo before.

Danica took a deep breath and knocked on the door of Theo's office.

Although it was a mere coincidence, she felt like they were matching clothes.

Before going to Theo's company, Danica changed into a formal outfit.

She wore a light gray hemp dress with a black blazer.

She even applied a small layer of make-up on her face.

Since they were discussing work that night, she wanted to present herself in a formal way to avoid Theo picking on her again.

Theo stood up and walked over to bring two cups of coffee.

Danica was startled and stood up quickly.

"I'm sorry” Theo said, surprised that the coffee had spilled.

He immediately put down the cup in his hand and pulled out a tissue to assist Danica in wiping it away.

Theo was about to put his hand away after handing the tissue to Danica when suddenly the office door opened with a loud bang, and Venice hurried in.

Venice felt relieved as she followed Theo back to the company.

He really had a lot of work to do, so she wouldn't mind if he left her behind.

Who knew that she would see Danica coming out of the cab as she drove out of the basement? She did not care about her image in front of Theo anymore.

After parking her car, she immediately followed her.

"What the hell are you doing?"

From Venice's point of view, Theo seemed to be taking off Danica’s blazer.

She got furious and acted crazy right away.She pointed at Danica and started cursing.
