Enchanted Nightfall: Falling for Destiny

Chapter 384

Tyrone gently let go of Quintessa, signaling he needed to step out for a call.

Quintessa's eyes fluttered open, curiosity lighting up her face. This call must be immensely important. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

Tyrone lifted his chin with a hint of sass. "Trade secrets, ever heard of 'em? Can't have everyone in on it. You, maybe, but that guy? He's my rival in love. Think I'd let him in on it?" With a teasing smirk, Tyrone stepped out, only to pause and turn back, "While I'm out making this call, I want both of you to keep it straight. No funny business... or else." Alexander chuckled, shaking his head.

Once Tyrone left, Alexander asked Quintessa, "Do you like him?"

Quintessa hesitated, "I'd rather not say."

A shade of sadness crossed Alexander's eyes, "Got it."

If it were a flat no, Quintessa would've said so. But her reluctance meant she was torn.

His best friend and the woman he loved were together.

Life, indeed, is full of unexpected turns.

...

At the end of the hallway, Tyrone's figure loomed tall under the dim light, a stark contrast to his playful demeanor moments ago.

"Just as you predicted, after Sean

got arrested, the first name he dropped was Quintessa Young. He even played an audio of her allegedly

ordering a hit. Looks like he

was

prepared for a fallout. But, Lilian's safe for now; his so-called 'evidence' doesn't hold up."

"Lilian met with Sean today. It ended badly, and I'm worried if they join forces, it could spell trouble for Quintessa."

Tyrone narrowed his eyes, "Let's give Lilian a dose of her own medicine. Make her and Sean turn against each other for good." "You mean?"

"Use the tragedy of Dolores' death and that of her deceased secretary. These skeletons in their closets will pit them against each other."

Sean was desperate, likely looking to drag someone down with him. The deaths of Dolores and his secretary were their dark secrets. Only a complete fallout would expose them.

Tyrone had looked into the death of Quintessa's mother, initially ruled a suicide. Recent findings suggested she was coerced, making it murder.

Understanding Quintessa more,

Tyrone realized her motives went et

beyond mere vengeance. She,

to clear her mother's name,

Sestore her dignity.

Dolores was no homewrecker, just a mother striving to protect her child.

After the call, Tyrone returned to find Quintessa asleep, with Alexander dozing off nearby.

He lay beside Quintessa, embracing her, lost in thought.

As silence enveloped the night, Tyrone suddenly got up, lifting Quintessa over his shoulder.

Startled awake, Quintessa exclaimed, "What are you doing?"

With a stoic face, Tyrone replied, "Doing what I've wanted to do for a while."
