Enchanted Nightfall: Falling for Destiny

Chapter 373

Rachel was far from the most skilled woman Quintessa had ever encountered, but she was undoubtedly the most cunning one.Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.

With disdain, Quintessa scoffed, "Hah, she's probably the one who wishes me dead the most. How did she even find out about my car accident, and why did she specifically come to you? Where is she now?" Alexander relayed Rachel's words to Quintessa without missing a beat.

Narrowing her eyes, Quintessa asked, "Someone was looking for her? Who was that?"

Tyrone pinched Quintessa's cheek playfully, "Can you even trust a word that woman says?" Quintessa nodded in agreement, "You're right. Her words are as worthless as farts."

The idea that Rachel would do anything out of the goodness of her heart was laughable at best.

Alexander remembered Rachel's tearful, remorseful demeanor, and how she had said she would turn herself in.

Even though Alexander despised Rachel, he still felt her act so convincing. Could it really be just an act?

Had their family really reached a point of such mutual hatred that it was a matter of life and death?

Upon reaching the hospital, after a thorough examination and treatment of all injuries, the doctor insisted that they stay overnight for observation, especially due to the potential aftereffects of the explosion, which might not be immediately apparent.

Given the choice, Tyrone would have preferred a VIP room, which were all single occupancy, but he wanted to stay with Quintessa. After a moment's hesitation, he chose Quintessa over comfort.

After all, there will be plenty of time for comfort later. Tonight was special, and he absolutely wanted to stay with Quintessa and play the hero who saved the damsel in distress.

However, they ended up in a regular ward with four beds.

Quintessa, Tyrone, and Alexander shared the room.

Seeing Alexander, Tyrone chuckled, "Alexander, when did you get involved with Rachel? You've got some nerve."

Tyrone knew Rachel better than Alexander did.

It was questionable that Rachel

would reach out to Alexander out of the goodness of her heart. Her motives were likely still selfish, aiming to garner Alexander's sympathy.

Alexander glanced at Tyrone coldly and then closed his eyes, refusing to engage.

Tyrone sneered. Should he feel sympathy for Alexander being entangled with Rachel, or should he be amused?

Quintessa couldn't help but take a few extra glances at Tyrone's wicked smile.

Getting out of bed, Tyrone

approached Quintessa and lifted her

chin, "It's just this face that's passable. What if you had been disfigured? What then? Maybe¶d have to step in and rid the world of one less evil."

Any gratitude Quintessa might have felt vanished with that remark, and she swatted his hand away. Biting back, she retorted, "Even if I was disfigured, I'm still good in bed don't need your charity, and b

wouldn't lack for men." Content

Tyrone knew Quintessa was just talking big. What men? It was only him. He nodded, "True, I can attest to that. Your skills are commendable."

He gently caressed her cheek, asking, "Does it hurt?"

"And you?" she retorted.

Sitting beside her, Tyrone replied, "As long as you're okay, that's all that matters."

Alexander observed their interaction, noticing Quintessa's acceptance of Tyrone's proximity.

Her relationship with Tyrone was entirely different from what it used to be with him.
