CHAPTER 43- WE ARE GOING SCHOOL
CHAPTER 43- WE ARE GOING SCHOOL
Around fifteen minutes later, the door of the principal's chamber flew open. Ryan stood up from his seat
seeing Catherine walk out happily, "Ryan, I got accepted." The boy chuckled, "Of course, you did. Who
would not take in my little Cathey."
Jack looked around and asked the housekeeper, "If it's all done we can go for shopping."
"No, I have a little work." Ryan stood up straight, he looked down at Catherine and said, "Wait for me,
ok?" He entered straight into the principal's chamber leaving behind a confused Jack and housekeeper.
The woman asked, "What happened to Young Master?" Jack shrugged and sat back on his seat, no
one would know what he was cooking in his mind until he produced the results.
A few minutes later Ryan came out with two pamphlets in his hands, he looked at the gang who was
waiting for him and said, "Let's go."
"What were you doing inside?" Jack inquired and then his eyes fell on the two papers he held in his
hand. Pointing at those he asked, "And what are these two?" Ryan swept his gaze across the little girl
who was talking to her nanny and replied. "It is the school rule book." Jack was confused why he was
suddenly bringing up the school's rulebook, did he spent 15 whole minutes inside for these?
He asked quizzically, "Why did you bring two?" Ryan was calm as he carefully placed one book in his
kangaroo pocket but what he replied did rob away Jack's peace of mind, "One for you and one for me."
"For me? Why for me?" Jack asked irritated, it was really hard to guess what this boy really was doing
and now suspense was killing him. Ryan handed him his rulebook and finally broke the unexpected
news to him, "You will need to know the rules to follow after we join the school." Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
His words shocked everyone, including the nanny who averted her concentration from Catherine and
threw her questioning gaze at the two boys. Jack looked at the book in his hand and looked up to meet
eyes with him, "W.. what did you say?"
"We are going to school, I got our admissions." Ryan casually informed the latter before walking away
with Catherine, probably to buy her ice cream. Jack was a smart kid but this piece of information was
really hard for him to process! He had been homeschooled with the Young Master since he knew, going
to school suddenly was unimaginable for him. Even though he wasn't really fond of this idea he had no
say in it, Ryan was the one who called the final shots for him.
The nanny looked at his depressed expressions and asked, "Why, you don't like school?" Jack nodded
negatively, "I have been homeschooled all my life, besides I have heard many horrible things about
school."
"Aahh... It's not it! Schools can be really fun..." The two chatted before leaving the hallway. Outside the
school premises, Ryan indeed was feeding little Cathey a big bowl of strawberry ice cream. The clique
then went to bury necessary gadgets for school. Their official schooling was to start on Monday that
was two days later from today; while Catherine was enthusiastic the other two were just mum,
especially Jack who had a million thoughts going on his head.
He was thinking of ways to convince the latter to change his mind and give up on joining the school. He
had no idea how he managed to talk to his overprotective dad into sending him to school, he was
thinking hard but finally gave up when he saw Ryan looking at Catherine afar. She was buying and
giggling on her own but the way Ryan looked at her, with tremendous love and affection in his eyes
Jack dropped all of his plans. He decided to join the school to protect her from everything and deep
inside Jack knew even if the hell raised and heavens tore there was no stopping him from protecting
his woman.
Two days later when the school officially started it was finally Mr Silva who accompanied the three kids
to school. While Catherine sat on his lap and happily chatted with her father in the passenger seat
Ryan boiled with jealousy inside, even though it was her blood father he still hated the fact that she
loved her father more than she loved him. The feeling that he was sharing her with someone and she
wasn't exclusive to him was worsening his mood deep down... His face was sullen as he glared at the
two with his piercing glance, Mr. Silva noticed his cold gaze on him and turned around.
"What, Ryan. You don't look happy?" The handsome man in a grey suit asked him. Jack chuckled
before awkwardly jumping between the two, "It's nothing, Uncle. He just hates school!"
The man laughed, "I too used to loathe school when I was young but slowly I accepted the fact that no
matter what I do I am not getting rid of school and got used to it." Saying this the man turned around
and failed to see that Ryan mumbled something under his breath. He said, "It's not the school I wanna
get rid of but you."
His words were barely horrible but the boy who sat next to him heard him out clearly, he blocked his
mouth with his palms to prevent him from saying anything further, he whispered, "He is your father-in-
law, respect him or else he won't give you his daughter's hand."
Ryan corrected his school jacket and turned away unhappy, he vowed to himself that once he marries
Catherine he won't let anyone, especially her father, near her. The car finally stopped at the premises
of the school; this reputed education centre featured elementary, middle and high school all divided into
different building blocks and thus Catherine was not too far away from the boy's reach.
Her father opened the doors and climbed out with his daughter who was happy beyond belief, following
the tall man were the two 10-year-old bodyguards the girl had found herself.
