Chapter 100: Philip died
Philip’s expression became so terrified that Melina was frightened.
-Do you think you can stop me like that? I’m not afraid of you.
“Philip, you must die.
Melina laughed and said:
-Today is the happiest day I have lived for so many years. I promise to organise a party to celebrate your death.
“Die! Die right now!”
Philip’s pupils dilated, which was a sign that people were about to die.
“At last you will die.”
It was a great pleasure for Melina to witness Philip’s suffering.
Suddenly, Philip’s electrocardiogram showed a straight line.
Melina began to laugh mockingly and cheekily, coolly watching Philip’s heart stop before pretending to be worried and pressing the emergency buzzer.
-Dad, are you okay?
Suddenly, the door opened.
Vanessa ran to the bed and pushed Melina away. She cried loudly. She grabbed Felipe’s hand and called out:
-Dad! Dad, look at me, it’s Vanessa. Dad, wait, the doctor will be here soon, Dad….
Melina stood to one side, watching the scene with a difference.
“How nice!”
The doctors and nurses arrived immediately, surrounded Philip and shocked him again and again to get him back. However, half an hour passed…
Felipe did not react and the doctor later confirmed that the patient had died.
The atmosphere in the room was heavy.
-I’m sorry, we’ve done our best.
The doctor’s voice was also heavy, but he said no more. The doctors and nurses left one after the other. Vanessa stood in the room, not knowing what to do.
“No! It can’t be!”
-Dad is not dead, no!
Vanessa walked towards the bed while talking to herself, holding Philip’s hand tightly.
-Dad, you’re not dead, you can’t leave me and mum! Dad, I beg you to open your eyes, I’m Vanessa, I’m your daughter.
Melina scoffed:
-He’s dead, don’t fool yourself any more!
-Shut up! -You’re lying!
“Crazy!”
Melina looked at Philip and then turned to leave.
-Don’t go!
Vanessa let go of Felipe’s hand and strided towards Melina:
-You were the only one in the room, what did you do?
-What do you mean? You suspect I killed dad? -Do you have any proof? I’m his daughter too. Was I here to accompany him?
-It’s you! The doctor said dad’s condition had improved. If you hadn’t irritated dad, how could he have been like this?
-You doubt me? Don’t slander me! You have no evidence to prove that I killed dad.
Melina pushed Vanessa away and then left.
-I will find evidence.

Dylan opened the drawer and took out the phone that had been switched off for many days. He thought he had come to his senses.Content © NôvelDrama.Org.
He switched on the phone.
There were many missed calls and messages.
All the missed calls were from Vanessa, and that had a big effect on her mood.
He put the phone down, hesitated for a while and finally read the messages Vanessa had sent him. After reading them, his expression changed completely.
She was in trouble!
The messages arrived a few days ago.
Damn it!
Dylan stood up suddenly and paced the room anxiously as he called out to Vanessa.
She didn’t answer the phone!
I had a feeling that something had happened to him.
