Dear Ex-wife Marry Me

Chapter 212

Chapter 212

Only when Maja saw them outside, did she open the door.

Upon seeing her, the woman tried to rush at her, but the cops held her back.

“Whatever issues you have, take it to the police station!”

Maja frowned, glancing at her phone.

But she was the one who had called the police. To prevent further harassment from the woman, she

had to go down to the police station.

What she didn’t expect was that the woman started playing dumb.

Maja witnessed the woman’s heated argument. The whole police station was in chaos.

What should have been resolved in an hour was dragged out to four

When she finally got out, Maja felt dizzy. The woman had gotten under her skin.

With people like this, no matter how much you’re in the right, it doesn’t matter. They would always find

a way to blame you.

During the argument, the woman’s tirades were so unbearable that the cops had to slam the table and

tell her to shut up

Now Maja came out first. The woman was still inside, waiting for her husband to pick her up.

Maja was no longer in the mood to go to Crystalbrook Valley. After all, she was driving herself, and she

was too drained. It was a disaster waiting to happen

She had no choice but to postpone her trip to Crystalbrook Valley the next day.

While leaving the police station, she spotted Silver Cames being arrested

Silver saw her too. His face darkened instantly, glaring at her warily.

Maja raised an eyebrow. It seemed that Silver was arrested because she didn’t reconcile with him.

Silver was no longer as cocky as last night at the Pennyfeather family. He seemed to have aged ten

years overnight. But his gaze on Maja was still sharp as a knife as if he wanted to tear her apart

Maja just chuckled, paying him no mind.

Silver was so pissed that he almost had a stroke on the spot. He thought he could salvage the situation

with his connections. But his connections were no longer of any use. The cops had swooped in that

morning and hauled him away. The evidence was solid.

The verdict came quickly, someone must have been pulling strings behind the scenes.

The Pennyfeather family didn’t have the clout for that. So who was it?

At the Pennyfeather family, Nell Pennyfeather ended his call with Holden Raymond.

He didn’t mention lan this time but subtly brought up Maja’s predicament to Holden.

He didn’t specify Maja’s problems, only mentioning that Silver was giving Maja a hard time at work and

that Silver had a vast network.

Holden immediately issued a decree – no one was to aid Silver. He had the gall to make his grandson’s

wife suffer

At that moment, Neil thanked Holden on the phone and received a notification from the police station.

Silver was taken away.

After hanging up, Neil breathed a sigh of relief.

That’s Maja’s character, keeping her problems to herself and not complaining to Holden.

Even though lan had warned him not to contact Holden privately.

For the sake of letting Maja vent, Nell didn’t care anymore.

Now all that was left was to apologize to Maja.

He called in his assistant, Carter Booth,

“Carter, prepare a share transfer agreement later. Get it done ASAP Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

A hint of confusion flaphed in Carter’s eyes.

“When do you need it?”

“By this evening at the latest.”

Neil finally realized that he had been neglecting his daughter.

Carter nodded and left respectfully.

But the moment he stepped out of the living room, he was stopped by Cristina Perkins.

“What did he ask you to do?”

“Prepare a share transfer agreement. As you said, he’s transferring 15% of the shares to Maja.”

Cristina trembled with rage. She didn’t think that Neil couldn’t even wait for a day

She took a deep breath and suddenly fainted.

Carter knew what she was up to and called out right away.

“Mr. Pennyfeather Cristina fainted.”

Neil, who was about to call Maja to tell her about the share transfer, heard this and immediately sprang

up, striding towards the door.

When he opened the door, he saw Cristina collapse on the floor.

“Sweetheart!”

He yelled, instantly rushing over to help Cristina up

Upstairs, Tricia Pennyfeather hurried downstairs after hearing the news of Cristina’s collapse. She

looked terrified, her face pale as a ghost, and her body trembled.

Neil was all over the place, and seeing Carter just standing there, he ordered loudly, “Call an

ambulance right now, help me get her to the hospital!”

“But what about the share transfer..”

“What time do you think it is? We can talk about that later!”

A hint of amusement flashed in Carter’s eyes, he smirked and quickly went over to help Cristina
