Chapter 84
Pin–drop silence fell over the private room in an instant. In his shock, Bernard turned to Dorian in disbelief, trying to find traces of other emotions on his face.
In the dim lighting. Dorian leaned into the backrest of the couch, his stunning face hidden in the dark. Besides his prominent nose bridge, the rest of his face was obscured.
“Will you come and get me? I… drank too much,” Aspen said gently as he came up with an excuse, his sharp gaze fixed on Dorian.
With his jaw hanging in shock, Berard shifted his gaze between Dorian and Aspen repeatedly. Did he miss something important in a mere few days?
On the other end of the line, Gisele furrowed her brows. It was close to 10:00 pm now, so she didn’t really want to leave her house at this hour. In addition, she wasn’t even that close with Aspen.
“I didn’t bring anyone with me. If my parents find out that I went out drinking, they’ll be mad at me,” Aspen
added.
At the end of his speech, he even sounded a little aggrieved, as though whining that his parents still had a firm control over him even though he was almost thirty./
“Okay, send me the address.”
Crack!
As Gisele finished speaking, the sound of a hand crushing a glass to shards could be heard.
Aspen hung up the call casually and sent Gisele a text.
The quiet private room turned even more silent after the glass shards hit the floor. After his shock subsided, Bernard said warily, “Aspy, tell me the truth! Did you fall for my idol? Listen, do you know the
concept of getting in line?”
“Oh?” Aspen was in high spirits as he poured himself a drink.
However, Bernard snatched the glass from him and finished it in a gulp before snorting proudly. “I’ll woo
Gigi once she and Doge are divorced. When that time comes, I’ll let everyone know that she’s the best-”
While bragging, he felt a murderous stare on himself and swallowed the remaining words abruptly. The awkwardness in the air thickened. Several times, he wanted to break the ice, but it was futile against Dorian’s sharp eyes which were hidden in the dark.
About 20 minutes later, Aspen’s phone rang. “Sorry, let’s call it a night here. Someone is here to pick me up.” He waved his phone screen in front of them, showing them Gisele’s name which was flashing on it.
Immediately, Bernard jumped up and placed his arm around Aspen’s shoulder. “I don’t care! I want to go with you even if it means sleeping at your place.”
“Sure, let’s go.”
They walked out, and Dorian, who was as que as an innstle man, got up as well and followed after
At the lobby on the first floor, they immediately caught sight of Gisele at the door. Dressed in a chers with cartoon printing paired with a pair of fitting jeans and white canvas shoes, she let her dark hair full loosely around her shoulders.

“I’m going to Aspy’s house today. Take me along as well?” Buoyantly, Bernard paced over and clad his arm over Asper’s shoulder before they started heading for the exit
