Darling, Please Love Me Again! (Gisele Meyer)

Chapter 35

Chapter 35

Angle seethed as she struggled to breathe. She glared at Dorian, wishing she could crack open his skill to see what was in his head.

“Fine. I’ll shut up!” Angle snorted and turned to leave in a huff.

After a couple of steps, she glanced back at them disdainfully. “Dorian, mark my words. One day, you’ll regret this!”

And when that day came, even if Dorian regretted it and wanted to reconcile, Angle would make sure that Gisele never took him back.

Once Gisele got divorced, Angie would set her up with dozens of handsome men. She was confident that there would surely be one who could rival Dorian.

“Don, it’s all my fault. You shouldn’t bother with me anymore.” Sierra’s voice trembled, and tears streamed down her ch*eks.

Dorian coldly watched Angie’s cheerful departure. He turned back to stand by Sierra’s side and gently patted her back. “I’m sorry you had to go through this,” he said.

Sierra sald tentatively, “I’m fine. It’s just You and Gisele….

Sensing his restrained demeanor, she inched closer and nestled her face against his chest.

She could sense the change in Dorian’s behavior toward Gisele over the past few days. Although he hadn’t realized it himself, Sierra feared that Gisele might steal him away if things continued like this.

Dorian placed his hand on her shoulder and gently pulled her back to meet her gaze. He said solemnly, “Sierra, my marriage with her will soon end.”

Sierra’s heart softened as she pursed her l*ps and prepared to lean over to k*ss him.

But before she could, Dorian stood up instinctively.

He said awkwardly, “You should rest. I’ll check with Bernard about the case’s progress.”

“Okay.” Sierra’s gaze lingered on his departing figure as disappointment filled her eyes.

But the prospect of soon becoming his legal wife lifted her spirits.

As for Gisele, Sierra was confident she would never practice medicine again. She believed Gisele’s future would be spent behind bars.

Since she had come to terms with her life, Gisele found more peace.

Each morning, she tended to Johnson’s tendonitis with acupuncture before taking a nap. In the afternoons, she strolled through the garden. In the evenings, Johnson would take her to the bustling night market on the street behind the hospital, where young people gathered.

On the third evening, Gisele’s fever subsided, Johnson, now dressed sharply and with maturely styled hair, exuded a newfound sense of sophistication.

“Gigi, will you celebrate my birthday with me?” Johnson nervously rubbed his hands.

Gisele was set to be discharged the next day, so the nurse had asked her to persuade Johnson about the surgery. As she had been wondering how to approach the topic, he approached her

first.

After a moment’s thought, she nodded. “Of course.”

He gently tugged at her sleeve. His eyes flickered with excitement and apprehension as he stole occasional glances at her.

The two headed to the hospital’s back entrance.

At that moment, the night market was in full swing. The lights‘ glow cast a warm ambiance, mingling with the tantalizing aroma of street food.

As they entered, the crowd parted, and they each gave Gisele a red rose.

In a spontaneous gesture, Johnson grabbed the microphone and began to sing with soft music in the background.

“In the car, I just can’t wait…

“To pick you up on our ver

first date…

“Is it cool if I hold your hand?”

The crisp voice, accompanied by the melody, echoed in the bustling night market.

With her hand clasped in his, he guided her forward.

As Bernard emerged from his sleek black Bugatti at the hospital’s back entrance, his gaze swept across the crowd in disbelief. “Gigi is here?”

Dorian, who had been striding toward the back door, abruptly stopped. With a quick turn, his impassive eyes scanned the scene before him. © NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

He immediately spotted Gisele and Johnson with their hands tightly clasped together.
