Chap 74
Chapter 74 en
Cassandra’s evil plan.
Cassandra arrived at Ricardo’s family residence. She deliberately came first with a cup of avocado juice specially prepared for Jessica.
The woman got out of the car, not forgetting to bring a paper bag containing avocado juice. Then, she stepped towards the porch of the house. Her right hand was extended to press the doorbell.
The door opened, and the maid opened the door. “Please come in, Miss, but Mrs. Anna is still out,” the maid greeted politely.
“It’s okay I can wait and have a chat with Jessica first.” Cassandra walked in following the maid. ” Wait, ” she asked in a loud voice.
“Yes, Miss!”
“Here I bring avocado juice to Jessica, please give it to her!” She gave her the paper bag.
“Well miss, I’ll give it to miss Jessica, I hope she likes it, lately she is always nauseous every time she smells food,” the maid said. She accepted Cassandra’s gift and took her to the dining room. The maid took out a cup filled with avocado juice and put it on the dining table.
After that, she went to call Jessica who was engrossed in the flower garden. Jessica was taking a picture with the buds of roses that in a matter of weeks would soon bloom.
“Miss Jessica, there’s Miss Cassandra,” she called, bothering Jessica who always took the time to look at the flowers.
“Cassandra?” Jessica asked in amazement. She often saw Cassandra come home but not to see her but to see Mrs. Anna or Lexi. What happened to that woman all of a sudden?
“Yes, she’s waiting for the lady in the living room!” the maid said obviously.
“Well, tell Cassandra to wait a bit, I have to take a shower,” Jessica said. She also had to go to the boutique this afternoon.
“Yes, Miss! I will prepare warm water, ” the maid, who was told by Mrs. Anna to help all of Jessica’s needs, said.
“No, I don’t like hot baths, and I can do it myself. You go see Miss Cassandra!” Jessica told. She came out of the flower garden. She took off her shoes and socks and took a shower.

Fifteen minutes passed. Jessica, who had changed clothes, wearing an army green dress in a mix of bright flat shoes, came out of her room and immediately met Cassandra.
“Sorry, I just took a shower.” Jessica familiarly shook Cassandra’s hand and sat down before her.
“You look so arrogant Jess, do you already feel that you won over me?” Cassandra started a conversation with Jessica.
“I don’t know what you mean?” Jessica looked down. “I’ve never done any competition with anyone now!” she added.
“I’m joking Jess, congratulations for your pregnancy. I’m here to take you to choose a dress at the boutique!” Cassandra smiled amicably.
Jessica answered with a smile.
“Your womb, how many weeks old is it?” Cassandra asked. She sat closer right next to Jessica.
” It’s been five weeks, ” she replied honestly.
“Are we going to your boutique?” Jessica asked. She didn’t suspect anything at all about the woman. However, she remained vigilant.
“Mrs. Anna asked me to help choose a dress for you,” she said. “Oh yes, she said that pregnant people are nauseous? Do you feel that too?” Despite her dislike for Jessic, a Cassandra tried not to show it in front of Jessica.
“Yes, every morning I’m nauseous, and I can’t eat anything,” Jessica complained, looking the other way.
Both Jessica and Cassandra turned to the source of the sound, the avocado juice that Cassandra brought spilled on the floor by the cat.
‘Shit!’ Cassandra said in her heart. She was feeling annoyed to see the avocado juice spilled, even dripping onto the floor.
“Ow,” the maid shouted. The maid immediately moved to the dining table cleaning the avocado juice spilled on the table to the floor.
“I’m going to get you some ice cream, Jess!” Her expression was disappointing.
“Oh, yeah? I’m sorry I didn’t know, if I knew for sure I’d been drinking it all along,” Jessica replied. She swallowed. Despite the cloudy atmosphere, avocado juice tastes very tasty.
Cassandra, who was very upset, did not answer. She smiled discordantly and tried to devise a new plan to harm Jessica. Either way, the future baby couldn’t be born.
“Lexi leaving for work?” Cassandra was looking for a new chat. Jessica was very passive when talking to her. She didn’t ask if she had nothing to ask.
“My husband went to Uncle Sandy’s house,” Jessica answered honestly. Hearing the name of the husband called, the longing in her heart increasingly missed him. Just half a day Lexi left, Jessica really couldn’t wait for the evening, when her husband arrived home.
“So, tomorrow, Lexi’s not home?” Although her first plan failed, Cassandra felt that she had many opportunities to harm Jessica. Especially when there was no Lexi next to her. The opportunity to wean the future baby was wide open.
“My husband was coming home tonight!” she replied.
“Oh.”
Silence was restored between them. Jessica was busy thinking about Lexi because she missed him so much, while Cassandra was busy plotting to harm Jessica and her future baby.

Exactly one o’clock in the afternoon, Mrs. Anna, along with Jessica and Cassandra left from home to the boutique. Jessica, who was sitting next to Ronald, was more silent listening to Cassandra and her mother-in-law’s conversation. They looked so very familiar, more so than her familiarity.
“Yes, we haven’t had lunch yet. Where are we going to eat Jess?” Mrs. Anna asked.
“Okay mom,” Jessica whispered.
“What do you want to eat, honey?” she offered again. She almost forgot Lexi’s message to always pay attention to Jessica.
“It’s up to you mom, eating at home after trying on a dress is also okay.” Indifferent, she was jealous of Mrs. Anna’s closeness with Cassandra.
“How about at my sister’s restaurant,” Cassandra suggested.
“Where?”
“Near here, before the fork towards the boutique.” Cassandra had a great idea. She felt a good opportunity to execute the plan of both at the restaurant owned by her sister.
“Which one?” Ronald asked.
“There.” Cassandra pointed them to a seafood restaurant that was on the right side of the road.
Then Ronald drove the car to the restaurant that Cassandra meant. The car stopped in the parking area.
Everyone got out of the car except Ronald. He got lunchtime before.
All three entered the restaurant. Cassandra began to order the menu she liked. She also ordered food for Jessica.
“Auntie and Jessica sit down first, I’ll make an order for you,” she said politely.
“Okay,” Anna and Jessica said at the same time.
“You like seafood, Jess?” Mrs. Anna asked. All she knew is that Jessica loves chicken. For the past few days, she hasn’t eaten anything than chicken.
“I like it,” Jessica said.
After fifteen minutes of waiting how many foods were already available on the table. Sweet and sour squid, black pepper seasoning shrimp, and Virgin clams. There were also green calms.
Not to forget, Cassandra gave the second avocado juice to Jessica.
“Let’s eat first,” Mrs. Anna began to take rice and choose one of the menus served at the table.
Cassandra also began to take her rice. Jessica suddenly lost her appetite. She chose to drink the avocado juice Cassandra ordered.
‘Drink Jess, drink to the end and enjoy your hell.’ Cassandra’s mind while watching Jessica who was sipping avocado juice that she had ordered.
