CHAPTER 15

RECONCILE?

Lexi slowly opened his eyes. He saw the two people standing next to him. Arsene and Jessica. Then his eyes closed again.

“Miss, I’ll call the nurse first”” Arsene said, hurriedly leaving Lexi’s room and calling the nurse.

“Jessica, are you hurt?” Lexi asked after he could remember the incident a few hours ago.

“No sir, the injured one is Sir, not me!” Jessica lowered her head.

“You fool, I don’t want you to do such a silly thing again Jess. You got it?” Lexi firmed, although his voice is low and still weak due to the loss of a lot of blood.

Jessica was silent this time. She cursed in her heart. ‘Yes, I am fool, Mr. Lexi Ricardo. I was stupid for worrying about you. Look at it now! I just realized you’ve been treating me like a stupid. Not only crazy, but also you’re rude and greedy! You are arrogant!’

“I’m sorry sir, I’ll never do that again, and I’m sorry too, you got hurt because of ….,” Jessica stopped, what came out of her mouth was contradiction with her heart.

“Shut up, I don’t wanna hear your voice! Get away!” Lexi closed his eyes. He was a relief to know Jessica that she was okay.

Jessica sat back on the sofa. Not long after, Arsene came with a nurse.

The nurse walked over to Lexi, checked his infusion and asked Lexi a few questions.

“The patient is awake, you should let the patient rest,” the nurse looked at the wall clock, which already showed eleven night.

“Okay,” Arsene said and let the nurse out of Lexi’s room.

“You go home, I can be here by myself!” Lexi said to Arsene. He had been working all day. He couldn’t bear to see Arsene had to take care of him at night.

“But, Sir, Ronald couldn’t come and Mr Samuel told me to take care of you,” Arsene said. It was common for him to get urgent things from his two bosses.

“You’ve been in the office all day and doing my work, tomorrow I can’t leave, you have to sleep now,” he didsn’t want his job to be ruined because Arsene got sick.

“Okay sir, I’ll be home soon!” Arsene answered looking at Lexi briefly, then turned around.

“I’m going home with Secretary Arsene,” Jessica said quickly.

“No, you stay here, Jess! Only Arsene can go home!” Lexi forbade her plan with pressure.

Jessica looked at Arsene. The man hinted that Jessica had to stay.

“Miss, you’d better stay here to take care of Mr. Lexi,” he asked looking straight at Jessica’s sense of sight.

Jessica nodded her head, letting Arsene out of the room.

Jessica was alone with Lexi. Her fear diminished a little, for the man was lying helpless. At least, in this room, Lexi was unlikely to do the things Jessica was afraid of.

“Why are you staying there? Come here!” Lexi looked Jessica from head to toe, signaled for the girl to immediately to be closer.

“Can I help you?”Jesslyn asked. She lowered her head and played with his nails. Her heart was pounding so hard as she stood next to Lexi.

Lexi shifted his body. “Sit down!” Lexi pointed to the place next to her.

Jessica looked at Lexi’s bed, a special bed for patients. Only for one person.

“No sir, I can sleep on the sofa” Jessica said, shaking her head.

“Who told you to sleep? I told you to sit here!” Lexi repeated. Jessica’s act made him laugh.

“But-”

“No refuse! Sit down or I’ll report you to the police station!” Lexi threatened and stared at Jessica. Jessica looked so cute tonight.

Jessica sat down next to Lexi.

When Lexi turned his head, Jessica was so very close. Jessica raised her head, their eyes met. They looked at each other.

“Jess,” Lexi said softly as he traced the girl’s face with her fingers.

Jessica was ready. Her body’s reaction was different than before. She didn’t refused to touch by Lexi. She even remained silent in such a position to stay very close to the man.

“”Why do you always refuse me before, Jess? I’m handsome and I have everything. Why do you always reject me? Even you prefer to go to hell instead of accompanying me to sleep. Am I that disgusting in your eyes, Jess?” Lexi said gently. Both of his hands were now touching Jessica’s face. His lust for Jessica never lessened, even when he felt pain in his former surgery.

Jessica nodded. He asked her only for sitting next to each other.

“Do I have to beg you to stay by my side Jess?” Lexi led Jessica’s face closer to his face.

There was no longer any distance separating them.

“Kiss me,” Lexi said gently.

Jessica closed her eyes. She began to kiss slowly to the crazy and rude man in front of him.

‘It must be because I feel sorry for you! Emm-no, I must feel guilty that he got hurt!’ Jessica’s mind kept landing a kiss on Lexi’s lips.

“You’re so good,” Lexi gave her compliment after Jessica kissed him. He held his laugh, tried to control his lust.

Jessica bit her wet lips, Lexi’s compliment made her blush. She threw her eyes in the other way to hide her embarrassment.

“Tell me how many men you’ve kissed, Jess?” Lexi asked, looking intently at the girl.

Jessica didn’t answer. She moved, intending to get out of Lexi’s bed.

“Who told you to leave Just now you kissed me. Now it’s my turn to kiss you,” Lexi didn’t waste this cahnce. He grabbed Jessica by the waist and kissed her.

This time, Jessica didn’t refuse. She began to enjoy Lexi’s kisses.

The night was getting late. Jessica was sleeping in the same bed with Lexi.

Lexi’s face fell asleep. Very close to Jessica’s face, until her breath was felt on its surface.

In the morning Mrs. Grace came to the hospital through the door of the VVIP. She worried about Lexi.

The elevator door opened, and she walked into Lexi’s room with a nurse.

“This is the room” The nurse was standing right in front of the door.

The two senses of her sight were looking at the bed. Jessica was sleeping in Lexi’s arms. Mrs. Grace left out of the room immediately. She didn’t know why she was so happy to see them.

“Why did you left out?” Mr. Samuel asked who had just arrived. He found the wife who was sneaking out of the room.

“Don’t come in! Let them rest!” Mrs. Grace spread out her arms blocking the husband who wanted to enter the room.

“Why?” Mr. Samuel linked his eyebrows questioningly.

“Looks like Lexi and Jessica have reconciled,” she said quietly with both corners of his lips widened, forming a smile.
