A worried David approaches Jessica into the bathroom. Then, he took a tissue and led her back to sit on the sofa. “Are you okay, Jess?” David asked, observing his younger sister’s pale face.

Jessica didn’t answer, she didn’t feel dizzy. It was just nausea and now felt very limp. “I think I’ve eaten too much,” she muttered.

“Shall we go to the doctor now?” David couldn’t bear to see Jessica’s current situation.

Jessica shook her head strongly. “Are Daniel and Lexi here yet?” Jessica asked. she’s been watching the clock ever since. she couldn’t wait to meet her husband.

“Wait a minute,” David said. Just now he wanted to take the phone, the apartment door opened.

Both David and Jessica looked towards the door. First, Daniel came in and the next second Lexi came in.

“I miss you,” Jessica replied, still crying. Then she hugged her husband again.

“Don’t cry, I’m already here. And from now on I will take you wherever I go.” Lexi rubbed the wife’s back, persuading her not to cry.

“Really?” Jessica looked up to see the seriousness in the look on her husband’s face.

Lexi nodded.

Now, Jessica’s two older brothers looked at the couple and they misbehaved. Daniel chose to go into the kitchen to grab a drink for Lexi while David was still sitting in the family room and watching Jessica who was so spoiled with her husband.

Then, Lexi led the wife to sit on the sofa. It was next to Jessica, in front of her were David and Daniel. They turned to each other and remained silent.

“David and Daniel, thank you both for helping me and Jessica to meet!” Lexi said, although both of his brothers-in-law were younger.

“That’s nothing. Drink first.” Daniel said.

Lexi took his glass, sipping on the orange juice given by Daniel.

David looked at Lexi. This was the first time he saw his brother-in-law. Although their ages are far apart, Lexi was now 30 years old and himself 23. There’s no denying that Lexi did look younger than his actual age. Not only that, as a fellow man, David admitted also Lexi is a man who has a strong charm. He smiled, understanding that Jessica had fallen in love with him.

“At the moment what are your plans?” Daniel asked, opening the chat. he didn’t want them in an awkward mood any longer.

“I want to meet Mr. Kim. Can you help me meet him?” Lexi asked . He looked at Jessica, waiting for her approval.

“Sure, I’ll drive you. It’s just that it’s no more, right now me, David, and Jessica don’t want to see grandpa.” Daniel said she didn’t want to meet the middle-aged man. Not without reason, but she still did not want to make peace.

David nodded in agreement, while Jessica did not respond.

With Daniel, Lexi went into the elevator. they immediately spurred the footsteps towards the direction of Daniel as soon as the elevator door opened.

Daniel sat behind the wheel, Lexi sat beside him. There was no longer any hatred in Daniel’s heart. Jessica was happy with this guy. Daniel became aware that hatred would only leave a wound in his heart.

Throughout the road, the two men were busy with each other’s thoughts. When the car stopped in the basement, Daniel did not immediately get off. Lexi wanted to talk to her grandfather, but he was nervous.

“I’m sure you can,” Daniel said, dismissing all doubts. Then, he observed Lexi’s back walking away from him. With hope, the grandfather this time would melt.
