Naomi jerked to a halt at Jack’s words. She raised her head to glare at him.
“You deserved it! Someone was so merciless and told me to get lost!” Naomi let go of Jack’s wrist and said in a chill voice, “Nothing is wrong with you. You’re making a fuss!”
Naomi then took a step back and was about to leave.
