Contract Marriage With The Disabled CEO By Woody Rain Chapter 76
Chapter 76
Chapter 76 I Will Never Forgive You
“Yes, I heard you,” Betty said coldly. “But I. don‘t want to talk to you.”
Betty‘s cold attitude stung Jeffrey. He grabbed her wrist more tightly.
“Are you still mad at me for what happened at the party?” Jeffrey managed to be patient. “I‘m really sorry about t hat. And I didn‘t know those photos. Trust me. I‘m not that despicable.”
Betty tried to ignore him, but when he said, “Trust me”, a mocking look flashed across her eyes. “Trust you? Trust you what? Trust that you wanted to ruin me? Or trust that you were trying to torture me?”
Jeffrey‘s face turned pale, and his tone was tinged with anger, “Betty, we‘ve known each other for so long. You know what kind of person I am, don‘t you? Even if I hate you to guts, I wouldn‘t do such a thin g!”
Betty‘s smile became more ironic.
However, it was mixed with sadness and
helplessness. “Jeffrey, you want me to trust you, but have you ever trusted me?”
Jeffrey didn‘t expect that Betty would say this. He was stunned.
“We have known each other for so long. We were together for three years. Don‘t you know what kind of person I am?” Betty slowly said in his tone of voice and her eyes turned red. “But you completely forgo t what kind of person I am just because of a few photos and rumors. You would rather believe others than me.”
Jeffrey was shocked.
What did she mean?
Was she blaming him for not trusting her back then?
“It‘s totally different!” Jeffrey became irritated for no reason. “Fine, even if I misunderstood you two year s ago, can you tell me how you, an ordinary reporter, managed to marry my uncle? Isn‘t this the best ev idence that you went great lengths to
marry into rich families? And I saw you and ED Cooper. You were acquiescent in front of him. I don‘t want to tell my un cle about that. He probably doesn‘t know you are such a : tramp!”
Looking at Jeffrey, Betty suddenly felt that it was a stupid move to say those words to him.
He had already regarded her as a slut. How could he trust her?
Heh.
What a fool she was!
Seeing Betty keep silent, Jeffrey thought she could not refute. He glanced at the red mark on her neck t hat hadn‘t completely faded, and the monster in his chest seemed to wake up again.
“You said I should know you, but in the three years we were together, you kept hiding your true face!” J effrey shouted in a low voice. “The Betty I knew would blush when I held her hands, but what about the real you? The red mark on your neck was so obvious, but
you didn‘t even bother to hide it. Betty, do you have an ounce of shame?”
Jeffrey knew that his words were harsh. If it were before, he wouldn‘t have said such mean words.
But he was like being enchanted and had become a completely different person in front of Betty…
Betty looked at Jeffrey in front of her. Being insulted by him, she didn‘t get angry or refute, but just stare d at him with colder and colder eyes.
“Jeffrey,” She suddenly whispered. “If one day you find that you are totally wrong about me, I will never forgive you even if you apologize to me.”
With that, she shook off Jeffrey‘s hand, turned around and left without even looking at him.
She reached the tea room and felt tightness in her chest. She gasped, as if her chest were going to exp lode.
At this moment, her cell phone rang.
She looked at her mobile phone and was stunned at the name on the screen. Then she seemed to hav e grasped a life–saving straw and immediately answered it.
“Kerwin…” she spoke quickly before Kerwin could say something.
Kerwin‘s low voice sounded on the other end of the phone, “Betty, where are you?”
“I am in the company,” Betty tried to reply in a calm voice. “I‘m working overtime. I sent you a message and told you not to wait for me for dinner.”
“I know,” Kerwin‘s voice was as cool and flat as usual, but Betty felt like it was a tranquilizer that could r eassure her. “Come downstairs.”
“Come downstairs?” Betty was stunned. “What do you mean?”
“I‘m downstairs of your company.”
Betty immediately ran to the elevator,
ignoring that she was in her hign neers.
In the elevator, her heart pounded. Looking at the numbers on the elevator screen, she silently repeated…
Come on, come on…
For the first time, she couldn‘t wait to see Kerwin.
Ding
The elevator finally stopped on the first floor, and Betty rushed out of it.
She ran all the way to the gate and then saw the familiar black Bentley.
She didn‘t care whether the people in the company would see her and Kerwin, but just slowed down, str

Betty got into the car.
“Why are you back?” She looked at Kerwin in front of her, who looked more steady and handsome in the blue sweater.
“To bring you the food,” Kerwin said in a flat tone and handed the lunch box to her.
Betty froze for an instant and opened the lunch box. There were exquisite dishes made by Lillian.
She looked up at Kerwin blankly. “You are here just to bring me food?”Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

Betty laughed.
Although Kerwin was smart, he would still say the wrong thing.
Her company was in the west, their home was in the east, and Kerwin‘s company was in the middle. Ho
But Betty knew that Kerwin was thin– skinned. She didn‘t correct him but just held the lunch box in her arms and said in a soft tone, “Kerwin, t

“Sure,” he whispered without even realizing the gentleness in his voice. “Take it upstairs. You can‘t be aw
Betty nodded, opened the door, and was about to get off.
But she suddenly hated to part with Kerwin.
She looked back at him.
Seeing Betty‘s hesitation, Kerwin frowned slightly. “What‘s wrong?”
Looking at the handsome man in front of her, Betty only felt that her heart melted. She whispered without hesitation, “Kerwin, can I hug you?”
