When are we leaving
“Any news about my ex-wife?” Jeff asked, he had asked his private investigator to find out everything about Hannah and where she lives.
“No, nothing yet. I would love to get some information from you about the last few places you met her” The private investigator said Jeff sighed softly then told him where he had met her and ended the call.
He wondered why it was difficult finding Hannah. He has given him the job for some days now and he’s found nothing. His private investigator has never failed him, whatever he had asked him to do in the past, he has always delivered.
Why does it feel like someone is protecting Hannah and she might be using a new identity that’s why it’s difficult to find her, but anyways he was going to find her. He won’t stop till he finds her.
Just then Jeff’s door burst open again revealing Rosa.
“Mom” Jeff called out as Rosa walked inside the room.
“Jeff, you seriously not gonna look for Rhoda? You throw her out of the house with nothing and you even freeze her card. You should go look for her” Rosa said and Jeff shot her a deadly glare.
“Whatever was between me and Rhoda is in the past now. I need to make things up with Hannah and I won’t let Rhoda come in my way, not even you. So stop talking about Rhoda if you do not want to join her ” Jeff said and stood up.

It was evening and the octuplets had closed from school. Hannah had asked one of the nannies to go with the driver and pick them up from school because she was feeling too tired to leave the house.
Hannah heard a car come to a stop in the compound, she knew it was the Octuplets. They had arrived.
She had already prepared dinner for them, their favorite food to be precise. so immediately they entered the house, she asked them to go upstairs with their nannies and take their bath, then come downstairs for dinner.
After the kids had taken their baths and changed into their home wear, they rushed downstairs to the dining room and sat on the dining chair.
“It’s our favorite food!!!” The kids yelled as Hannah served them on their plates.
“Macaroni and cheese, yesss!!” Jayden yelled happily
“Look, there are baked beans too,” Allison yelled happily. That was her favorite food. Her grandma Arianna usually prepared it for them when they were still in New York City.
“There’s Grilled cheese too” Jamie yelled as they started rushing the food.
“Careful,” Hannah said as she sat beside them and watched them eat.
“Mommy, aren’t you eating?” Addison asked
“Of course, I am,” Hannah said as she ate gently. After they finished eating, Hannah and the maids cleared the dining table.
After that, the kids went to their room to play. Hannah sighed softly and went upstairs to her kid’s room. She opened the door and walked in, there she met the girls doing their assignments while the boys were playing with their car toys.
“Jayden, why aren’t you guys doing your assignment?” Hannah asked as she walked fully inside the room.
“They asked us to help them do it,” Aubrey said and Hannah sighed softly.
“You shouldn’t give your sisters your assignment to do, you should learn to do it yourselves,” Hannah said and they nodded obediently.
Hannah sat on the ground and beckoned the kids to come to sit close to her.
“I have something to tell you guys,” Hannah said and the kids raised their eyebrows waiting for Hannah to speak.
“We are moving into a new house,” Hannah said and the kids gave her questioning looks.
“Why? What happened to this house? Why are we moving out?” Jasper asked
“We gonna be living with someone,” Hannah said and paused
“A man right?” Jayden asked and Hannah swallowed hard.
“It’s not just a man. I’m getting married to the man and he’s going to be your daddy” Hannah said and the kids opened their eyes in shock. They stared at Hannah speechlessly.
“You guys wanted a daddy right? And I got you guys one” Hannah said and Allison chuckled.
“And who’s this man that you are getting married to?” Jaxon asked
“And what’s his name?” Addison asked
“Where does he stay?” Aubrey asked
“What does he do for a living?” Audrey asked
“Do you love him?” Jasper asked
“Does he love you?” Jamie asked
“Where did you even meet him?” Jayden asked
“And when did you guys meet?” Allison asked
“Oh my goodness! One question at a time and can you guys ask questions that are your age?” Hannah asked and the kids sighed softly.
“We are only looking out for you mommy. We don’t want you to fall into the hands of the wrong man, that’s why we want to be sure who the man is and if he’s a good man. Right?” Jayden said as he turned to his siblings and they nodded in agreement.
“He’s a good man. He’s nice and kind-hearted” Hannah said and the kids hummed. She knew deep down Brandon was a cold hearted human, she just wanted her kids to feel comfortable.
“Okay, but we need to see him first and confirm if he’s a good man. Right?” Allison asked her siblings who nodded in agreement.
“If he’s a good man, we have no problem mommy. You can marry him, so long you are happy with him, we are happy too” Aubrey said in her tiny voice making Hannah smile.
“But that wouldn’t stop us from confirming if he’s a good man,” Jayden said and Hannah smiled at him.
“Promise me, you all will stay out of trouble when we get there,” Hannah said
“Of course, we will,” the kids said in unison as they gave each other a suspicious look and Hannah pouted, staring at them.
“Fine mommy, we will do anything that makes you happy. But if the man tries to get on your nerves, we’re gonna teach him a big lesson ” Jaxon said and stood up from the ground.
“When are we leaving? We should start packing” Allison said as she stood up.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
