On the way back, Jordyn felt an unsettling gnawing at the back of her mind, unable to shake her worries. She decided to have someone look into Clark.

Less than three days later, Clark’s test results arrived. He was having lunch when he received a call from the doctor.

“Mr. Sumner, your test results are in. If you have time, you should come in,” the doctor informed him.
