After talking a bit with With Delilah's parents, Delilah finally took me to the dungeon to see Dimitri.

It saddened me to know how long Dimitri has been here and how Damon had almost killed him when he arrived. After speaking with Dimitri, I had to talk with Damon.

We got to the dungeon and were about to walk in when the guards appeared before us, blocking our way.

"Good day, Luna Clara and Madam Delilah. We have been given strict instructions not to let you in" One of the guards announced which made me frown.

I knew this was Damon's doing and he was sure going to get a slap for this stunt.

"We are here under the Alpha King's command. Are you really going to defy the Alpha King for Alpha Damon?" Delilah spoke and the guards frowned as they glanced between themselves with confusion.

"It wasn't Alpha Damon that instructed us not to let you in, it was Sir Dimitri. He doesn't want any visitors" The other guard revealed and I frowned. That means Dimitri knew I had arrived but he didn't want to see me?

"Unfortunately for him, I do not care what he wants. Try to stop me and I'll tell my husband that you put your hands on me and you should know how that goes" I threatened the guards as I narrowed my eyes on them and they immediately gave way.

I grabbed Delilah's hand as we walked into the dungeon and she led me towards Dimitri's cage.

As soon as my eyes landed on Dimitri, I couldn't stop the tears from flowing down my cheeks. He had lost a lot of weight and didn't look like the once joyful and Flirty Dimitri that he used to be.

"I knew you were going to cry and that's why I didn't want you coming here, Clara" He murmured softly as he stared at me.

"What the fuck is going on? Have you not been eating? Have they not been treating you right?" I questioned as I held onto the bar.

"They have. He's the one that refused to eat" Delilah explained as she stared at her brother with pity in his eyes.

"Dimitri..."

"I'm glad you're okay. At least now my heart can finally be at peace and Damon's heart as well. He almost went crazy without you" Dimitri muttered with a sad look on his face.

"I'm getting you out of here. Delilah, tell the guards to...”

"But why?" I questioned softly.

"Because Damon hates me and I'm not ready to face him. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. I'll get over it soon" He tried to assure me but I didn't like the tone of his voice. Not one bit.

"Delilah, can you drive me to Damon's company? I need to talk to him" I told her and she immediately nodded.

"You don't have to talk to him about me, Clara," Dimitri uttered.

"Well I want to. Just so you know, Damon may be angry but you're still his brother. You have to remember that" I said to him before walking away with Delilah.

Soon enough, we got to the car and Delilah drove to Damon's company. It has been so long since I went to Damon's company, I had almost forgotten how huge it was and this was just his company within the pack. He had multiple scattered around the continent.

Now was not the time to be impressed by him, he needed to be scolded.

As soon as we got to the company, we walked in and we were immediately greeted by the staff. This was a very huge contrast to the way they treated me the last time I was here.

“Luna Clara, Madam Delilah" A woman greeted us as she walked up to us with a slight bow.

“I'd like to speak with my husband. Is he in his office?" I questioned and the woman shook his head.

“Take me to the conference room” I ordered her and her eyes widened.

"But ma'am..."

"Do you think my brother would be happy to hear that you challenged his wife? She said you should take her to the conference room" Delilah spoke up and the woman immediately bowed her head.

"Of course, come this way Luna" She uttered and I nodded and was about to follow her when I noticed Delilah wasn't trailing behind me so I turned to her with a questioning gaze.

"You'll take the private elevator up to the 7th floor, that's the conference floor. Just walked into the first office by your right Luna" She explained. "You're not coming with me?" I questioned and she immediately shook her head.

"Workers like me aren't allowed on those floors" She explained and I slowly nodded before getting into the elevator.

Soon enough, the elevator dinged open and I immediately walked into the conference and was overwhelmed by the amount of eyes that turned towards me.

"Clara? What are you doing here?" Damon questioned as he slowly stood up from his chair as he stared at me with wide eyes.

"I need to speak to you now, Damon" I told him and a frown immediately adorned his face.

“Luna Clara, you can clearly see that we are in a meeting. You can wait outside till...”

"Clara, if this is about Dimitri then I don't want to hear it" Damon said tiredly and I frowned before walking towards him.

"Well it is about him and I'm going to talk while you listen" I uttered sternly earning a surprised look from Damon and a slow whistle from Luca. Damon turned toward him with a glare and he immediately lifted up his hands in surrender.

"I'll be outside" He muttered before walking away and as soon as he was gone, Damon grabbed my hand and made me sit on his chair before squatting down in front of me.

"Look at you, you should be at home resting, not walking around. Your feet are all swollen" He said as he took off my shoe and massaged my feet.

Goddess, it was so hard to be mad at him when he was so loving and caring.

"Damon, we need to talk about Dimitri and I want you to listen carefully"...
